Abstract

Based on the observations on the students of SMP Negeri 2 Rantau, the students have low interest to learn in learning Civics. The method used in this study is qualitative research method.  The results showed that there are some causes of the low interest in learning Civics: (1) the lack of active participation in learning, having difficulty in listening and laziness in doing the tasks; (2) the students having difficulty in understanding the lesson during the learning, and almost all students having no schedule to study at home; (3) the lack of student interest in learning Civics due to the lack of concentration and focus on the learning process.Keywords: student’s interests, civics education. Berdasarkan hasil observasi peserta didik-peserta didik SMP Negeri 2 Rantau menunjukkan masih rendahnya minat peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn).  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih rendahnya minat  tehadap pembelajaran PKn, (1)dikarenakan masih kurangnya partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran,  sulit menyimak dan dikarenakan malas dalam mengerjakan tugas-tugas, (2) Masih ada peserta didik  yang sulit dalam memahami  dengan baik ketika proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan, dan hampir semua peserta didik tidak ada jadwal belajar di rumah, (3) masih ada peserta didik yang kurang minatnya terhadap pembelajaran PKn dikarenakan kurangnya konsentrasi dan tidak fokus  terhadap proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Minat peserta didik, Pembelajaran PKn.

Abstract

15th Century marked by Islamization in Banjarmasin. Banjarmasin that previously inhabited by Dayak communities; Biaju or Ngaju, Maanyan, Lawangan, Bukit and Melayu,also elite’s Hindu-Buddha who came from Java or Sumatra. Then accepted the arrival and spread of Islam through the line of trade, marriage, government bureaucracy, tasawuf and tarekat, education and the arts. The line received via the network Bubuhan, Authority, and Interest. The third network was socially connect with each other to form arelegious transformation of the old religion Kaharingan, Balian, and Hindu-Buddha to the religion of Islam.Indeginous communities through the local intelligence in transformative intermingled while receiving and applaying the teachings of Islam which was certainly supported by the bureaucracy, government, forming acommunity of Islam that Islamic Banjarish.Key words: Islamization, Community, Social Networ

Abstract

This study aims to describe the activities of Student Creativity Program (PKM), explaining the strategy to increase student wirausha interest, and explaining the obstacles of the Student Creativity Program (PKM). The research approach is used is qualitative research. This qualitative research is more specifically directed to the use of case study methods. In-depth and detailed research on everything related to the subject of research. The results is explaining interest in entrepreneurship should not be something that never made people, but rather develop into things that already exist. The use of the concept of using imitation techniques and modifications can be an option. Student creative ideas can be developed through the encouragement of the lecturers in the study program. The sharing guidance will be an effective forum for discussion of student interest. Students should be much more active understand the stages of proposing PKM as well as supervisor. Furthermore, creative ideas must be supported by competence.Keywords: PKM, entrepreneurship, and competencePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsi kegiatan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM), menjelaskan strategi peningkatan minat wirausha mahasiswa, dan menjelaskan kendala pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif (qualitative research). Penelitian kualitatif ini secara spesifik lebih diarahkan pada penggunaan metode studi kasus. Penelitian yang mendalam dan mendetail tentang segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan minat berwirausaha tidak harus sesuatu yang tidak pernah dibuat orang, tetapi lebih mengembangkan ke hal yang sudah ada. Pemakaian konsep pakai teknik amati tiru dan modifikasi bisa menjadi pilihan. Ide kreatif mahasiswa dapat dikembangkan melalui dorongan dari dosen-dosen pada program studi. Bimbingan yang bersifat sharing akan menjadi wadah diskusi efektif untuk mencari minat mahasiswa. Mahasiswa harus jauh lebih aktif memahami tahapan pengusulan PKM begitupula dosen pembimbing. Selanjutnya ide kreatif tersebut harus didukung kompetensi.Kata kunci: PKM, wirausahan, dan kompetensi

Abstract

AbstractIn the people of South Kalimantan, there are sub-ethnic groups who are well-known as successful business people / entrepreneurs and can maintain their business in a relatively long time, namely Alabio. historically, Alabio have become traders/businessmen who are undoubtedly their trade characteristics. His success in commerce even began when there was a belief in "mysticism", namely since the days of the state of Daha and Dipa were founded. The results of research on business ethics values used by Alabio for social studies showed that the business ethics values of Alabio for social studies learning were not fully utilized by social studies teachers, to facilitate teachers in compiling learning resources based on the Competency Standards of Business Ethics / Economic Ethics, namely Business ethics values used by Alabio can be used in social studies material in class VII, namely on the material of economic ethics in utilizing the factors of production in the life of business, the definition of business, company and business entity, and considerations that need to be considered in doing business.Key Word:  Business Ethics, Alabio People, Social Studies Learning AbstractMasyarakat Kalimantan Selatan, ada kelompok sub-etnis yang dikenal sebagai pengusaha sukses dan dapat mempertahankan bisnis mereka dalam waktu yang relatif lama, yaitu Alabio. Secara historis, Alabio telah menjadi pedagang/pengusaha yang tidak diragukan lagi adalah karakteristik perdagangan mereka. Keberhasilannya dalam perdagangan bahkan dimulai ketika ada keyakinan dalam "mistisisme", yaitu sejak zaman negara bagian Daha dan Dipa didirikan. Hasil penelitian tentang nilai etika bisnis yang digunakan oleh Alabio untuk studi sosial menunjukkan bahwa nilai etika bisnis Alabio untuk pembelajaran IPS tidak sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan oleh guru IPS, untuk memfasilitasi guru dalam menyusun sumber belajar berdasarkan Standar Kompetensi Etika Bisnis. Etika Ekonomi, yaitu nilai etika bisnis yang digunakan oleh Alabio dapat digunakan dalam bahan studi sosial di kelas VII, yaitu pada materi etika ekonomi dalam memanfaatkan faktor-faktor produksi dalam kehidupan suatu perusahaan dan entitas bisnis, dan pertimbangan yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam melakukan bisnis.Kata Kunci: Etika Bisnis, Masyarakat Alabio, Pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

School is one of the places that used to guide, educate, direct, and forman individual person to behave well. School also has contribution in introducing, cultivating, nurturing, and enhancing the value of disciplined to learners, including to the compliance of the school’s rules. This research used qualitative descriptive method and implemented at SMA Negeri 8 Banjarmasin. As informants in this study were the Principal, Vice Principal of Students’ Affairs, Sub Vice Principal of Students’ Affairs, counseling guidance teacher, and teachers of school subjects. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Coaching which is conducted on students at SMAN 8 Banjarmasin looked pretty good seen from the application of discipline that uses Points System. As the result, the application of the Points System was poorly socialized to the students and their parents/guardians. The school also facilitate the students to follow the organizational activities such as OSIS (Intra-School Students Organization), as well as the activities of self-development through extracurricular activities. In addition, every teacher in the school also implemented discipline during the teaching and learning process. The Points System which has been applied by the school is very precise to construct discipline to their students.  Keywords: Coaching, Discipline

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze (1) relations, (2) structures, (3) values, and (4) norms in the Sasirangan industrial community in Sasirangan Village. The research location is in Sasirangan village, Banjarmasin city, South Kalimantan. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subject of community research in Sasirangan Village. The research informants were craftsmen, traders and buyers. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research focuses on social relations (Gillin and Gillin), social structure (Linton Ralph), values (Koentjaraningrat) and norms (Soerjono Soekanto). The data analysis technique starts from data reduction, data display/presentation, and verification/conclusion. The data credibility test was carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, member checking and triangulation. The results showed that social relations include the relationship between individuals and themselves, individuals with families, individuals with institutions, individuals with communities, individuals with society, and individuals with the nation; in the form of cooperation, competition and accommodation. The social structure includes governors, mayors, heads of RT / RW, craftsmen and sasirangan sellers. The values that exist in society include economic, social and environmental values as well as the cultural values of the Banjar. The norms in society are related to the philosophy of life of the Banjar ethnic group, namely baiman, bauntung, cangkal, haram manyarah waja to kaputing, as well as behavior in everyday life.

Abstract

Improving Learning Activities and Learning Outcomes Through Cooperative Learning Economics Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) Student Class X1 SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Bumbu Angsana South Kalimantan Province. The purpose of this research is to increase the activity of learners class X1 in SMA Negeri 1 Angsana in the learning process is still low, the average value of daily tests on the material demand, supply, prices and the balance of 60, of 34 learners reach KKM as many as 15 learners and there are 19 students who have not reached the KKM.Keywords: Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD), activities learning, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  (1) mendeskripsikan perencanaan penilaian berbasis kelas yang dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran IPS (2) mendeskripsikan penerapan penilaian berbasis kelas dalam proses pembelajaran IPS, serta (3) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala dalam penerapan penilaian berbasis kelas pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin.Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian adalah selama 2 (dua) bulan, yaitu pada bulan September s.d. Oktober 2012. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari informasi yang diberikan oleh guru IPS dan kepala SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipilih berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan menarik kesimpulan (conclusion drawing). Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) perencanaan PBK oleh guru dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin dilakukan dengan cara menentukan kompetensi yang akan dinilai, menjabarkan kompetensi pada indikator-indikator, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran berdasarkan indikator tersebut, memilih teknik penilaian yang sesuai dengan tujuan dari pembelajaran, menuliskan kisi-kisi dari penilaian, mengembangkan instrumen penilaian, dan melaksanakan, (2) penilaian PBK pada pembelajaran IPS sudah diterapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin. Penilaian pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin sudah sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip PBK, yaitu prinsip validitas, mendidik, berorientasi kompetensi, adil dan objektif, terbuka, menyeluruh, berkesinambungan, dan bermakna. Jenis-jenis PBK yang digunakan oleh guru, yaitu penilaian lisan, kuis, ulangan harian, ulangan tengah semester, ulangan semester, ulangan akhir semester, tugas individu, tugas kelompok, penilaian proyek, penilaian portofolio, penilaian kinerja, penilaian hasil kerja siswa, serta penilaian sikap. Penyajian hasil pelaksanaan PBK dalam pembelajaran IPS berbentuk angka, kategori, dan narasi, serta (3) faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala penerapan PBK pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Batulicin, yaitu terbatasnya alokasi waktu mata pelajaran IPS, kelas tidak dikelompokkan berdasarkan kemampuan, minat, maupun bakat siswa, cakupan materi yang luas sehingga mengalami kesulitan menentukan materi yang diujikan berdasarkan keesensialan dari materi yang dibahas, serta jumlah siswa yang cukup banyak sehingga kesempatan untuk menilai sedikit.Kata Kunci: Penilaian Berbasis Kelas (PBK), Pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

Haul tradition for remember person had been deed in Andhika Village. Still continued until now. Village peoples working together be successfullythat religious ceremony. However we claimed many problems out of order goes on village peoples working togetherness. In the global era was needed speed rhythm and profesionalism. In the early, that was grew up catering industries and instant noodles sold on regencyc capital city market. Working togetherness called lalawatan depend on many factors attack.Village peoples working togetherness values in lalawatan areentrenchment or legacy making it still exist. The values is the heritage for the young generation. Not much more if the lalawatan values can be IPS learning sources..Keywords:Haul tradition, togetherness, and IPS learning sources Tradisi Haul untuk mengenang seseorang yang telah meninggal dunia di Desa Andhika terus berlangsung hingga kini. Warga desa bergotong royong demi mensukseskan upacara keagamaan tersebut. Walaupun diakui ada beberapa kendala yang menggerus atau mengurangi peran pegotongroyong lalawatan. Era globalisasi yang menghendaki kecepatan dan pofesionalisme, mulai tumbuhnya industri katering dan bumbu masak instant yang marak dijual di pasar ibukota kabupaten. Gotong royong lalawatan tetap bertahan dalam “gempuran” faktor-faktor tadi. Nilai-nilai yang tderkandung dalam gotong royong lalawatan adalah benteng yang membuat kegiatan bersama warga itu tetap ada. Nilai-nilai yang dapat diangkat dean diwariskan kepada generasi muda. Jaddfi tidak berlebihan bila nilai-nilai kegotongroyongan lalawatan dapat menjadi sumber pembelajaran IPS.Kata kunci: tradisi haul, kebersamaan, dan sumber belajar IPS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of the method of giving the task of learning the organizational structure of the county / city. This study uses action research method. The results showed an increase in motivation and learning outcome of students understanding of civics material on Organizational Structure District Government/City with an average value of evaluation results is gradually increased, although not too signifikan.Pada first cycle of the first meeting with the average value of 5.80, At the second meeting with the average value increased slightly, namely 5.92. At the third meeting be 6,04.Sedangkan in Cycle II becomes 6.68, while the fourth meeting of KKM for subjects Civics Class IV SDN New Sebamban was 6.50 (corresponding SK Principal), and at the last meeting the average value of students into 7.28 or about 76 percent keberhasilan.Oleh because student learning outcomes have exceeded the indicator of the success of this study, the research was stopped at the fifth meeting as planned. This fact shows that learning outcomes Civics Government Organizational Structure of Matter Regency/City has reached as expected.Key words: students motivation and learning achievement
