Abstract

AbstractThe implementation of education positions us to understand the values of life. In understanding it, we can explore the cultural values that we already have. This article described the importance of integrating cultural values through social studies subjects so that learners have a change in the aspects of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Baiman 'as the core of the Banjar culture has the potential to increase love for God and  the  truth,  because  baiman'  is  a  view  of  life  that  aims  to  remember  the existence of God. Bauntung 'which is a form of skill to live independently. Batuah for the purpose of life of learners beneficial to others and the State of Indonesia. Baadab make learners become beings who have noble character.Keywords: Baiman, Bauntung, Batuah, Baadab, social studies AbstrakPelaksanaan pendidikan memposisikan kita untuk memahami nilai-nilai kehidupan. Dalam memahaminya, kita bisa menggali nilai budaya yang sudah dimiliki. Tulisan ini bertujuan ntuk mendeskirpsikan pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai budaya melalui mata pelajaran IPS agar peserta   didik   memiliki   perubahan   pada   aspek   kognitif,   afektif,   maupun psikomotor. Baiman’ sebagai inti budaya Banjar memiliki potensi yang dapat meningkatkan cinta kepada Allah dan kebenaran, sebab baiman’ merupakan pandangan hidup yang bertujuan mengingat adanya Allah. Bauntung’ yang merupakan wujud keterampilan agar hidup bisa mandiri.   Batuah agar tujuan hidup peserta didik bermanfaat bagi orang lain dan Negara Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) Regarding traits - traits Jukung Banjar village anything as Sewangi Island (2) Regarding social values Jukung Banjar village anything as Sewangi island. This study used a qualitative method that aims to obtain more complete data, more depth, so that the research objectives can be achieved. Data collection technique used interview, observation and documentation. The research was conducted in the village as Sewangi island as the District Alalak Barito Kuala, there are some people who will be used as informants among the craftsmen boats and locals. The results showed that (1) the process of making this very difficult wooden boats when he was in the form of logs burned for several hours in order to expand then no longer open so hard if it is no longer hard to be easy to turn it into boats body. (2) social values at anything as Sewangi island still uphold the values of mutual aid, solidarity, self-sacrifice and their kinship mutual help between fellow craftsmen catamarans. Based on these results, it can be suggested that jukung banjar maintained its presence among the local community, especially people banjar that culture ancestors have existed since the first stay awake and be known by the younger generation to the younger generation know the will of his own culture for generations of youth have had many roles to maintain and preserve the cultural heritage of our ancestors.Keywords: Jukung banjar, social value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) Mengenai ciri – ciri Jukung Banjar di Desa Pulau sewangi (2) Mengenai nilai sosial Jukung Banjar di Desa Pulau Sewangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih lengkap, lebih mendalam, sehingga tujuan penelitian dapat tercapai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Pulau Sewangi Kecamatan Alalak Kabupaten Barito Kuala, ada beberapa orang yang akan dijadikan informan di antaranya para pengrajin jukung dan penduduk setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) proses pembuatan jukung ini sangat sulit kayunya ketika masih berupa kayu gelondongan dibakar selama beberapa jam agar memuai kemudian terbuka sehingga tak lagi keras jika sudah tak lagi keras akan mudah membentuknya menjadi badan jukung atau kerongkong jukung. (2) nilai sosial di desa pulau sewangi masih memegang teguh nilai gotong royong, kebersamaan, rela berkorban dan kekeluargaan mereka saling menolong antar sesama pengrajin jukung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disarankan agar jukung banjar tetap dijaga eksistensinya dikalangan masyarakat setempat terutama masyarakat banjar agar kebudayaan leluhur yang sudah ada semenjak dulu tetap terjaga dan dikenal oleh generasi muda agar para generasi muda mengenal akan budayanya sendiri karena generasi mudalah yang mempunyai banyak peran untuk menjaga dan melestarikan budaya peninggalan nenek moyang.Kata Kunci : Jukung banjar, nilai sosial masyarakat banjar

Abstract

Project Citizen is a learning model that able to improve the skills of citizenship education including intellectual skills and participation skills. Project Citizen is a portofolio-based learning model. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method used is a quasi experimental design with "randomeized control group pre-test post-test design". In this design the samples were divided into two groups: one group with another group of experimental and one control group. The results showed a significant improvement in intellectual skills and the skills of participation in the experimental class than the control class. The data shows that students respond were better civics lesson using the model citizen of the project than using a conventional model. Based on this study, the recommendation addressed to teachers in order to practice learning civics project model citizen because it can increase the citizenship skill students that include intellectual skills and participation skills.Key words: Project citizen, citizenship education, citizenship skills

Abstract

AbstractUtilization of the environment as a learning resource in teaching and learning process Social Studies in school is very important, because the environment is very rich in information. This study aims to describe: (1) physical environmental conditions around SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Tanah Laut Regency; (2) utilization of the physical environment around the school as a learning resource Social Studies students of SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Tanah Laut District. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative approach. Source of data obtained from informants, images, photos, documents, field notes and writings. Data collection is done by direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. To obtain data validity using data/source triangulation and method triagulation. Analytical techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) Around the junior high school 3 Jorong school there are various sources of learning that can be utilized for teaching and learning activities. Some places or physical environmental conditions around SMP Negeri 3 Jorong that can be extracted and used to be used as a source of learning Social Studies such as agricultural land/rice fields, oil palm plantation, rubber plantation, rejo village office, poskesdes. (2) The utilization of the physical environment around the school as a learning resource can be pursued by conducting learning activities outside the classroom by bringing students directly to the learning resource environment. Learning by utilizing the physical environment around the school as a source of learning also leads to changes in student outcomes, there is an increase in value after students learn directly to the source and observe objects to the field.Keywords: Physical Environment, learning resources of Social Studies AbstrakPemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses belajar mengajar IPS di sekolah sangat penting, karena lingkungan sangat kaya informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kondisi lingkungan fisik di sekitar SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Kabupaten Tanah Laut; (2) pemanfaatan lingkungan fisik di sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS siswa SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari informan, gambar, foto, dokumen, catatan lapangan serta tulisan-tulisan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Guna memperoleh validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data/sumber dan triagulasi metode. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Di sekitar sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Jorong terdapat berbagai macam sumber belajar yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar. Beberapa tempat atau kondisi lingkungan fisik di sekitar SMP Negeri 3 Jorong yang bisa digali dan dimanfaatkan untuk dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar IPS antara lain lahan pertanian/sawah, lahan perkebunan sawit, lahan perkebunan karet, kantor desa karang rejo, poskesdes. (2) Pemanfaatan lingkungan fisik di sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dapat ditempuh dengan cara melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kelas dengan membawa peserta didik langsung ke lingkungan sumber belajar. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan fisik di sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar juga membawa perubahan terhadap hasil yang dicapai siswa, ada peningkatan nilai setelah siswa belajar langsung ke sumbernya dan mengamati obyek ke lapangan.Kata Kunci: Lingkungan fisik, dan sumber belajar IPS

Abstract

AbstractSMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin is one of the adiwiyata schools in Banjarmasin. The school implements the government program to create concern and awareness towards the school’s environment. This research aims to describe the environment of SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin based on the adiwiyata school standard as well as describing the strategy used in implementing the environmental care value in SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin. This research used qualitative method, where the data was collected through interview, observation, and document study. Afterwards, the data was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In order to validate the data, the researcher extending the observation, increasing persistence, triangulating the data, and doing member check. The result of the research shown that the condition of SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin, based on four aspects of adiwiyata school standard which  This implementation of environmental care could be seen in the school daily activities such as piket kelas, five-minutes movement, and Jumat Bersih.Keywords:  Implementation, value, environmental care  AbstrakSMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin merupakan salah satu sekolah adiwiyata di Banjarmasin. Sekolah melaksanakan program pemerintah untuk mewujudkan kepedulian dan kesadaran terhadap lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi lingkungan sekolah SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin menurut standar sekolah adiwiyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan, triangulasi, dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi lingkungan sekolah SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin menurut standar sekolah adiwiyata ditinjau dari beberapa aspek. Bentuk-bentuk implementasi nilai peduli lingkungan tercermin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di lingkungan sekolah sebagai budaya sekolah seperti kegiatan piket kelas, gerakan lima menit, dan kegiatan Jumat Bersih.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Nilai, Peduli Lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the character of the student misbehaves and build student character misbehaves. This study used qualitative research methods. The results showed that students who misbehaves is caused by several factors, namely: family environmental factors and factors playmates were a bad influence. As for the coaching is done by the school is done by way of value investment approach or attitude finer such as faith, piety, honest, disciplined, responsible, mutual cooperation, fair, caring, resilient, obedience and respect.Keywords: build character, deviant behavior

Abstract

The final condition expected after the implementation of the research is that as many as 80% of students complete the material as seen from the suitability of the summary results with the aim of tutorial activities, and the average score of students when working on mandatory tutorial 2 and tutorial 3 mandatory assignments has an average increase of more than 3 In the first cycle, the number of students who completed the material was only 6 people or 50%. This means that there are still 50% of students who have not finished the material because the results of the summaries made are not by the learning objectives. In the second cycle, the number of students who completed the material increased to 83.33% or 10 students, which means that there was an increase of 33.33%. In the implementation of the mandatory tutorial assignment (TT2) assessment, class VIII A students obtained sufficient average scores satisfactorily is 82, 07 when compared with the average result of the 3 tutorial compulsory assignment assessment, namely 85.17. Although the average TT3 results are not too high, the difference in value is quite fantastic, namely 3.10, more than 3. This means that student learning outcomes seen from the average value of mandatory tutorial assignments have increased and met the performance indicators set.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the competency of teachers involved in the teaching and learning process of Social Science at SMP Negeri 3 Candi Laras Utara.This research appliedqualitative method. The researcher tried to do exploration in plan of getting data naturally in field through observation and communication with all existing data sources. The process of data collectionin this researchwas done through few steps namely observation, documentation and triangulation. The researcher used credibility test of the data for validity checking in the effort of obtaining data which is objective, reliable, valid and can be accounted for.Based on the result of the research, it is understood that: (1) the teachers of Social Science have all professional, personality, pedagogical and social competence; (2) the process of Social Science teaching and learning has fulfilled the minimum level of process standard including the preparation, implementation, and evaluation although the methods of teaching are not maximally yet explored; (3) the teachers used textbooks and printed material as learning resources which are available in the library; (4) the facility and infrasructure which are available in the classroom and the library are still limited; (5) the problem faced by the Social Science teacher is the insufficient facility and infrastructure to support Social Science teaching and learning, either it is related to the teaching and learning media andsources of study, or the educational background of the teachers when teaching integrated Social Science.Key Words: Teaching and learning of social science, teacher competence, learning resources, infrastructure, evaluation  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi guru yang terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 3 Candi Laras Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, peneliti berusaha untuk melakukan eksplorasi dalam rangka mendapatkan data secara alamiah di lapangan melalui observasi dan komunikasi dengan berbagai sumber yang ada. Proses pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian dengan beberapa tahap yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan trianggulasi. Peneliti menggunakan uji kredibilitas data untuk pengecekan keabsahan data dalam penelitian dilakukan untuk memperoleh data yang objektif, andal, sahih dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui (1) kompetensi guru IPS memeliki kemampuan profesional, kepribadian, pedagogik dan sosial, (2) proses pembelajaran IPS telah memenuhi standar proses minimal meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, tidak secara maksimal dalam melaksanakan metode pembelajaran, (3) guru menggunakan sumber buku teks pelajaran dan media cetak yang tersedia di perpustakaan (4) sarana dan prasarana yang tersedia ruang kelas dan perpustakaan yang menyediakan media dan buku pelajaran yang masih terbatas, (5) Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam pembelajaran IPS adalah terbatasnya sarana prasarana yang menunjang pembelajaran IPS, baik itu berhubungan dengan media pembelajaran maupun sumber belajarnya, dan latar belakang pendidikan guru pada saat mengajar pembelajaran IPS terpadu.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran IPS, kompetensi guru, sumber belajar, sarana prasarana, evaluasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD), (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD), dan (3) mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa kelas XI IPS 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD).Penelitian ini dirancang dan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa (1) instrumen untuk mengukur penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, (2) instrumen untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa, dan (3) instrumen untuk mengukur aktivitas siswa. Tahapan dalam PTK berupa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, serta refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes tertulis, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan caraperbandingan hasil belajar menggunakan uji-t (t-test), penilaian hasil belajar siswa dengancara membandingkan skor pencapaian dengan skor maksimal, serta perhitungan persentase untuk menentukan ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal dan hasil observasi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah apabila terdapat 80% dari siswa memperoleh nilai minimal 70.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa kelas XI IPS 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD), dengan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 96,55%, (2) keaktifan siswa pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD) adalah sebagian besar berada dalam klasifikasi aktif sebanyak 80% dan klasifikasi cukup aktif sebanyak 20%, serta (3) kualitas aspek-aspek dari pengelolaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD) sudah optimal, sebanyak 60% berada dalam klasifikasi baik dan sebanyak 40% sudah berada di klasifikasi baik sekali.Kata Kunci:     Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD, Hasil Belajar, IPS mata pelajaran Ekonomi

Abstract

The research is purposed to describe indicates behavioral discipline a student of class XII social class in Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin is still very low. The research was carried out in Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin. Methods used in this study was a qualitative methodology, in order that understanding of object subjects will be deep and holistic. Technique data collection in this research done by means of interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the research done known way the implementation of character education through role of teachers in forming behavioral discipline students in a school namely by exemplary good which can be used role model for students, planting religious values, and motivate of students to be more disciplined in at home and outside the classroom and by means of enforcement sanction or punishment for every violation done by students in form points offense that adapted to the level. The cause of students have obey regulation good governance disciplined as often came late school, truant, out at lessons take place, it is native of several factors one of them is from family, environment, and yourselves sons of the own.Keywords : Character Education, Role Of Teachers, Discipline Students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku disiplin siswa kelas XII IPS di Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, sehingga dengan demikian pemahaman mengenai objek yang diteliti akan lebih mendalam dan holistik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui cara implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui peran guru dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa di sekolah yaitu dengan keteladanan yang baik yang dapat dijadikan panutan bagi para siswanya, penanaman nilai-nilai keagamaan, dan memberikan motivasi terhadap siswa untuk lebih berdisiplin baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas serta dengan cara penegakkan sanksi atau hukuman atas setiap pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam bentuk poin pelanggaran yag disesuaikan dengan tingkat pelanggarannya. Penyebab siswa tidak menaati peraturan tata tertib disiplin seperti sering terlambat masuk sekolah, membolos, keluar pada jam pelajaran berlangsung, hal ini berasal dari beberapa faktor diantaranya dari keluarga, lingkungan, dan diri anak sendiri.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Peran Guru, Disiplin Siswa
