Abstract

The objectives of the research are: (1) to find out the influence of environment education towards  IPS students' learning motivation at SMK 1 Martapura, (2) to find out the influence of the school organization climate towards IPS students' learning motivation at SMK 1 Martapura? (3) to find out the influence of both the environmental education and school organization climate simultaneously towards IPS students' learning motivation at SMK 1 Martapura. This research used survey method with quantitative research approach. The research samples were taken with proportion stratified random sampling technique of the population of 1,341 students, from which 308 students were obtained as samples. This research found that (1) the value of t count> t table (3.240> 1.971) means that the environment education partially affects IPS students' learning motivation, (2) the value of t count> t table (2.083> 1.971) means that the school organization climate partially affects IPS students' learning motivation, (3) F count> F table (7.488> 3.886) means that the environment education and climate of student organization simultaneously affect IPS students’ learning motivation, (4) based on the output, the obtained scores of Adjusted Square was 0.041 or (4.1%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that: (1) Environment education partially affected IPS students' learning motivation. The value of t count was positive. It means that the effect was positive. This means that the implementation of environment–based education, the motivation of IPS students at SMK 1 Martapura increased more, (2) School organization climate partially affected IPS students' learning motivation. The value of t count was positive. It means that the effect  was positive. This means that the more comfortable the climate of the school  organization, the more the increase of the motivation of IPS students at SMK 1 Martapura  increase, (3) the environment education and the student organization climate simultaneously affected IPS students’ learning motivation.Keywords: environment education, school organization climate, learning motivation, social studies.

Abstract

Di Kotabaru telah banyak di buka sekolah-sekolah tingkat atas baik itu SMA dan SMK dengan standar menuju tingkat nasional dengan pengantar bahasa Nasional (Indonesia) dan dalam proses pembelajaran terdapat Berbagai masalah yang timbul khususnya di SMAN 1 Pulau Laut Selatan dan perlu menemukan kembali bagaimana cara mereka untuk lebih memahami penggunaan bahasa Nasional dalam proses pembelajaran IPS di SMAN 1 Pulau Laut Selatan.Pemahaman bahasa lokal sebagai asset yang sangat berharga yang terdapat dan seorang guru memiliki peranan yang signifikan bagi suatu proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, ternyata berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak yang sangat baik bagi pengembangan kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah yang lebih banyak memahami bahasa lokal di bandingkan bahasa Nasional khususnya etnik mandar di SMAN 1 Pulau Laut Selatan. Kata Kunci :  Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, bahasa lokal

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation model of teaching history of type Think Pair Share (TPS). Activities learners about analyzing the change of government of guided democracy until the birth of the New Order in class XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Banjarmasin with application-type learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The study of students about analyzing the change of government of guided democracy until the birth of the New Order in class XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Banjarmasin. Teachers should implement a variety of active learning in the classroom that will further improve the activity and motivation of learners in the teaching of history. It is expected that the history teacher to make cooperative learning model Think Pair Share as an alternative in implementing the learning, particularly in the matter of democracy terpimin until the birth order Barudan other material that can be applied to this model, so as to improve the learning outcomes of students. Teachers should be able to provide guidance, oversight and guidance to students so that maximum activeness and creativity of learners in learning optimal. Learners should increase activity and learning outcomes, especially in the teaching of history.Keywords: learning model type of think pair share, guided democracy, the new orderPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran sejarah tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Aktivitas peserta didik tentang menganalisis pergantian pemerintahan dari demokrasi terpimpin sampai lahirnya Orde Baru di kelas XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Banjarmasin dengan penerapan  model pembelajaran tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Hasil belajar peserta didik tentang menganalisis pergantian pemerintahan dari demokrasi terpimpin sampai lahirnya Orde Baru di kelas XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Banjarmasin. Guru sebaiknya menerapkan berbagai pembelajaran aktif di dalam kelas sehingga akan lebih meningkatkan keaktifan dan motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Diharapkan kepada guru sejarah untuk menjadikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share sebagai alternatif dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, khususnya pada materi demokrasi terpimin sampai lahirnya orde barudan materi lainnya yang dapat diterapkan dengan model pembelajaran ini, sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Guru hendaknya dapat memberikan bimbingan, pengawasan dan pengarahan yang maksimal kepada peserta didik agar keaktifan dan kreativitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran berjalan optimal. Peserta didik sebaiknya meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar terutama pada pembelajaran sejarah.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran tipe think pair share, demokrasi terpimpin, orde baru

Abstract

This thesis talk about How and Why the Madurese ethnic agglomeration based on the type of occupation(work). This research will give some benefits in theoretically and practically. This research will make some additions for working anthropology theoretical. Practically, especially (1) to the researcher and observer, this research is able to give scientific information which able is used as an orientation for doing next study that will give depth explore in Madurese ethnic agglomeration based on the type of occupation (work) , (2) to give an implication in learning social subject especially about ethnic agglomeration,(3) to policy maker, this research is able to give some inputs about the policies which is giving more attention in ethnic agglomeration, that will influence the interaction between groups and pluralistic society.Key words: Aglomeration, Ethnic, and Work

Abstract

AbstractThe application of the principles of sociology is expected to help experts in solving social problems. Experts who handle social problems, usually under the auspices of the social services, they are workers who do have expertise in terms of social problems. They are trained and educated to solve social problems that exist in society. They are referred to as social workers. Social work is a worker who specializes in dealing with people who have social problems in their lives. The department of social work is a department that is in SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Qualitative research methods, which are used in this study with data sources selected by snowball sampling. Data collection is done by several techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique uses qualitative analysis with steps of data reduction, display, and verification. The result is that the basic principles of sociology such as social contact, social interaction and communication greatly help students in social work in increasing their ability as social workers, to help people who are experiencing social problems.Keywords: Principles of sociology, social problems, and social power AbstrakPenerapan prinsip-prinsip sosiologi diharapkan dapat membantu para ahli dalam pemecahan masalah sosial. Para ahli yang menangani masalah sosial tersebut, biasanya berada dibawah naungan dinas-dinas sosial, mereka merupakan pekerja yang memang memiliki keahlian dalam hal penangganan masalah sosial. Mereka dilatih dan di didik untuk memecahkan masalah sosial yang ada di masyarakat. Mereka ini disebut sebagai pekerja sosial. Pekerjaan sosial merupakan pekerja yang khusus menanggani orang-orang yang memiliki masalah sosial dalam kehidupannya. Jurusan pekerjaan sosial merupakan jurusan yang ada di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian kualitatif, yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan sumber data yang dipilih secara snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa teknik seperti observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, display, serta verifikasi. Hasilnya bahwa prinsip-prinsip dasar sosiologi seperti kontak social, interaksi sosial dan juga komunikasi sangat membantu peserta didik jurusan pekerjaan sosial dalam menambah kemampuannya sebagai tenaga sosial, untuk membantu orang-orang yang sedang mengalami masalah sosial.Kata Kunci: Prinsip sosiologi, masalah sosial, dan tenaga sosial

Abstract

Internalization of discipline value into civics lessons at SMP Negeri 7 Pelaihari has not been maximally implemented. This research used qualitative method. The results of research indicate that: 1) In internalizing the value of discipline for students a program that is integrated in the learning of Civics is needed. 2) In the effort of developing  students’ discipline, a strategy that can embed value of  strong discipline.3) In implementing the value of discipline, the awareness of the value of discipline and good cooperation among the entire members of school community. 4) The violations of school rules still frequently happen; this may be caused by students themselves or teachers or other education personnel who are unable to provide good examples and proper role models for students. For all members of school community it is suggested to work together in the effort of instilling the value of discipline for students.Keywords: Internalization, Value Discipline, Student, Civics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana implementasi dan perspektif mahasiswa pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Surabaya terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran virtual yang dilaksanakan selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Informan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dan teknik interpretasi dilakukan dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara secara online dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran virtual yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa IPS menggunakan aplikasi google classroom, zoom meeting, google meet hingga whatsapp group. Walaupun aplikasi zoom meeting lebih menghabiskan banyak kuota namun lebih disukai mahasiswa daripada whatsapp group. Namun sebaik apapun aplikasi yang digunakan dianggap belum mampu menggantikan pembelajaran konvensional tatap muka. Kebiasaan pembelajaran virtual tersebut dapat diaplikasikan ketika sudah terjun menjadi seorang pendidik. Dengan kombinasi pembelajaran tatap muka dan online maka kedepannya mahasiswa calon guru IPS saat ini akan terbiasa dengan sistem blanded learning.Kata kunci : Mahasiswa IPS, pembelajaran virtual, covid-19

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the leadership style of  Kiai.H. Hasan Effendi and tried to portray his role in improving the quality of education in Pondok Pesantren Al-Kautsar Satui, Tanah Bumbu. The approach in this study was qualitative. The first data were in the form of data records through observation, interviews supporting data, and the data from the archives of  Pondok Pesantren Al-Kautsar Satui. Next, the data in the form of tape from relevant parties. To facilitate the discussion of the problem, the data from recorded interviews were later transcribed into writing. The next step was to test the validity of such data by triangulation method. Triangulation used include triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. This study found that Kiai H. Hasan Effendi in boarding school Al-Kautsar is a leader who was appointed directly by the boarding school founder Habib Saleh bin Mukhtar Al-Iderus. Her leadership style tends paternalistic style, the leadership of the grandfatherly. He has a role as an educator who guides Ustad/Ustazah to have better maturity in the sense of being more responsible. In this case, he has a role as a motivator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, and innovator.Keywords: leadership style, leadership role quality education, pesantren education.

Abstract

AbstractThe purposed of research to describe development of side business by the fishermen's wives received positive response from the community. Manufacture of various kinds of goods made from fish and shrimp is expected to bring economic prosperity for the fishermen's family. This research has  purpose describing character of socio-economic life of fisherman society, and describing the processing of sea product in increasing income for fisherman society. This study uses a qualitative method. Sources of data were taken by purposive sampling and data collection using observation, interview, and documentation study. Based on the research indicates that (1) socio-economic characteristics of Pegatan majority who still homogeneous in his profession as a fisherman shows the similarity of fate and sense of togetherness between them both at work and in other activities always seen and become very valuable in the middle community life that tends to be individualist. (2) the wife's role to increase the family's financial coffers with home-based business from the processing of marine products is very helpful to survive when the famine season comes and it also helps in improving the family economy.Key words: fishing communities, poverty, social and economic life AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan usaha sampingan yang dilakukan oleh para istri nelayan mendapat respon yang sangat positif dari masyarakat. Usaha pembuatan berbagai macam olahan yang berbahan utama dari ikan dan udang diharapkan bisa membawa kesejahteraan ekonomi bagi keluarga nelayan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menggambarkan karakter kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat nelayan, dan mendiskripsikan pengolahan hasil laut dalam meningkatkan pendapatan bagi masyarakat nelayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data diambil secara purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan pada penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) karekteristik sosial ekonomi mayoritas masyarakat Pegatan yang masih bersifat homogen yaitu dalam profesinya sebagai nelayan menunjukkan adanya persamaan nasib dan rasa kebersamaan diantara mereka baik pada saat bekerja maupun dalam aktivitas yang lain selalu terlihat dan menjadi sangat berharga ditengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat yang cenderung individualis. (2) peran istri untuk menambah pundi-pundi keuangan keluarga dengan usaha rumahan dari pengolahan hasil laut ternyata sangat membantu untuk bertahan hidup ketika musim paceklik datang selain itu juga membantu dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga.Kata kunci: masyarakat nelayan, kemiskinan, kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi

Abstract

Social attitudes is awareness within the individual. In SMP Negeri 3 Palangkaraya VII class, the teacher was instrumental in the formation of social attitudes of students, especially through social studies learning. The purpose of this researc his to know how Social Attitude Formation Through Social Learning In Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 3 Palangkaraya. This study used a qualitative method. Results of the study is that the SMP Negeri 3 Palangkaraya implement Curriculum 2013, in which there are aspects of attitude assessment. Social attitudes of students can be formed in a social studies lesson with the teacher giving an example of a good attitude to the students both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Keywords: Social Attitudes and Social Learning Sikap sosial adalah kesadaran dalam diri individu. Di SMP Negeri 3 kelas Palangkaraya VII, guru berperan dalam pembentukan sikap sosial siswa, terutama melalui studi sosial pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Sikap Formasi Sosial Melalui Pembelajaran Sosial Dalam Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Palangkaraya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil dari studi ini adalah bahwa SMP Negeri 3 Palangkaraya menerapkan Kurikulum 2013, di mana ada aspek penilaian sikap. sikap sosial siswa dapat dibentuk dalam pelajaran IPS dengan guru memberikan contoh sikap yang baik kepada siswa baik di kelas maupun di luar kelas.Kata kunci: Sikap Sosial dan Pembelajaran Sosial
