Abstract

The 2024 elections to elect the President and Vice President, Members of the DPR RI, Members of the DPD RI, Members of the Provincial DPRD, and Members of the Regency/City DPRD will be held simultaneously throughout Indonesia on February 14th, 2024. According to data from the General Election Commission (KPU), the Millennial and Z generations dominate the vote in this election with 114 million voters or approximately with a total of 56% of all voters, so it can be ensured that for the success of the election, the participation of these two generations is very important. The service method was carried out by providing election outreach to 100 students at SMA PGRI 2 Denpasar on Tuesday, January 30 2024 at 10.30 - 11.00 WITA with the stages of providing material and a question and answer session. The results obtained were that many students already knew that the 2024 elections would take place and the location of each voting place. However, most students do not know details such as the types of ballot papers and the administrative procedures for transferring votes. After the socialization activities were completed, the students understood the message that their voting rights were important and that they should not abstain.

Abstract

Public participation in elections is important to strengthen democracy. Communication strategies through Instagram are important to raise awareness of this. With public education and strong campaigns, this strategy can build a better understanding of the importance of elections. Instagram acts as a strategic tool in stimulating public participation. This research shows the importance of effective communication strategies in encouraging participation through Instagram in the context of elections. It shows that video content and posts can shift people's paradigms and trigger their interest in participating as agents of change in building democracy.

Abstract

This digital world has created a new economic situation. Entrepreneurs and traders do not only sell and promote their products and services through offline. However, now everything is implemented in a hybrid form (online and offline). Starting from promoting the product or service on social media, websites, to e-commerce. Digital commerce has unlimited time and space. It is inversely different from offline trade which has space and time limitations. So that in digital marketing, the presentation of products or services must be packaged properly and can convey the message and value of the product or service. Therefore, a workshop activity with the theme "Phonegraphy to Scale Up Your Business" was held at Wijaya Putra University (offline) and through zoom (online) with Dr. Rahmat Yuliawan, SE, MM, CHRM, CPM Asia as the speaker. The results of the questionnaire data and portrait of participants' work showed that photography and videography training through cell phones was effective in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. The participants showed improved skills in producing high-quality photos and videos. This skill improvement can be utilized by participants to improve product quality and marketing of MSMEs. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that photography and videography training through mobile phones is one of the effective strategies to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PPM) aim to develop the local economy in Sindangsuka Village, Garut Regency, with a focus on strengthening the role of BUMDes and MSME actors in the field of business management. The PPM program is implemented to increase the competency and capacity of village communities in various aspects of focus, including Human Resources (HR) development, marketing, production and business network development. The results of the second year of PPM activities (2024) show progress in several aspects. First, good communication was established between the PPM implementing lecturer, the Adhigana Restaurant Manager (Padjadjaran University Business Unit), and the Director of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) Sindangsuka, which aims to establish cooperation in the organic catfish business network with the Adhigana Restaurant. This program adopts a more directed and focused approach based on evaluations and feedback from previous years. The results of outreach activities through training for MSME entrepreneurs highlight the importance of developing competencies in marketing, production and human resources as well as the need for collaboration between business actors to achieve inclusive and sustainable local economic development goals. Abstract

The English Learning Oasis or Taman Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (TPBI) program was a community service committed to providing free English courses to students of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) or an islamic enrichment school. This community service was given to the 4th-grade students of MDT Al Mujahidin, one of MDTs in Cikunir, Singaparna, Tasikmalaya Regency. Most of the students do not receive English lessons at their school. The program aimed to improve these MDT students’ interest and skills in English. In this English course, they learned four language skills; listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The teaching team for this course consisted of students majoring in English Education Department of Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya. This community service was executed in seven stages; needs analysis, pretest, syllabus design, lesson planning, dissemination of the lesson plan, implementation of the English course, and evaluation (posttest and perception survey). This English course yielded positive results in two areas. First, this English course was proven to increase students English learning outcomes. It can be seen from the average score of posttest (88) which was higher than that of pretest (53,59). Second, the students developed positive attitudes and interest in English. The initial survey indicated that 16% of the students did not desire an English course while the final survey revealed that 100% of the students wish for the continued implementation of the English course.

Abstract

The low level of compliance impacts the amount of tax revenue that is not optimal. This results from a low understanding and awareness of taxes and a need for more tax literacy. Tax education activities for SMK Negeri 1 Sumenep students are one way to provide understanding and foster early tax awareness for the younger generation. The method used in this activity consists of four stages: (1) coordination stage, (2) preparation stage, (3) implementation stage, and (4) evaluation stage. Based on the four stages that have been carried out in tax education activities can increase the understanding of taxes owned by students. The increase in understanding is evidenced by the evaluation results of questionnaires filled out by students, who showed differences between before and after participating in the activity. The student's level of understanding before the activity had an average score of 4.52. After the activity, it had an average value of 7.85. It was also proven by the results of statistical tests with the paired sample t-test method with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which stated there was a difference. With the increased understanding gained from this activity, it is hoped that this understanding will grow awareness in fulfilling tax obligations at a productive age later.

Abstract

This internship report provides an overview of new projects at PT Z, focusing on the Business Development division, aimed at diversifying the company into other mining ventures. The decision to intern here was significantly influenced by the job description, which aligns perfectly with the author’s major in finance, particularly involving the calculation of financial feasibility for upcoming projects. The objectives were threefold: to provide an overview of feasibility studies, including their purpose, key components, and methodologies; to identify and analyze the financial parameters commonly used to determine the feasibility of projects; and to evaluate the financial feasibility of the limestone project in Kendari, Indonesia, by applying financial parameters such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period. The research employed quantitative methods, utilizing both primary and secondary data. The feasibility study for PT Z's limestone mining project in Kendari confirmed the project's strong potential due to favorable market conditions and excellent limestone quality. Financial feasibility, assessed using key metrics, showed a positive NPV of Rp141,302,519,737, an IRR of 53% above the cost of capital, and a payback period of 1 year and 11 months, all of which affirm the project's economic viability. Additionally, the capital cost of Rp45,820,000,000, essential for supporting business growth and objectives, was accurately estimated and managed. These factors collectively demonstrate that the limestone project is financially feasible and poised for success, providing promising returns and contributing significantly to PT Z’s strategic diversification.

Abstract

In today's digital era, everything is digitalized in all aspects. The company can achieve success not only determined by the quality of products, services and services offered but also determined by the company's ability to ensure customer loyalty to remain loyal to use the services and products marketed. This service aims to understand how the role of marketing communication in increasing customer loyalty at Red Studio. The methods used in this service are, 1. observation 2. active participation 3. guidance and mentorinf 4. practical projects. The results obtained show that by implementing a more effective marketing strategy in the future, the company can strengthen long-term relationships with consumers.

Abstract

To advance regional development and people's welfare, active community involvement is needed through the development of tourist villages. Gombengsari Village, especially the Lerek Neighborhood, has abundant local potential. Therefore, it is hoped that the community can take advantage of this local potential to advance the previously conceptualized tourist village further. This community service implementation uses the PAR method, in which the relevant parties must be actively involved. The activities include identifying local potential, introducing local potential to elementary school-age children, and discussions with MSME actors. Based on the activities above, it is known that the potential that exists in the Lerek Environment is the potential for education-based tourism (edutourism), namely education about coffee and milking etawa goats. MSMEs also play an important role in village tourism, namely utilizing natural resources and advancing the village economy. After joint discussions, MSME players realized that choosing packaging and labeling was very important to attract consumers to buy their products. Apart from that, several MSME players are also interested in marketing their products to e-commerce.

Abstract

Education is an important sector that creates the nation's next generation, who are superior and competent in their fields. One of the Islamic organizations that is committed to the field of education is Muhammadiyah. This article describes the results of the community service program, which aims to solve the problems of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Bayat regarding their plans to develop their educational facilities in new locations to enhance students' character. The method of community service begins with a location survey, initial design FGD, initial architectural design, final design FGD, and final architectural design. The results of the service implementation are in the form of final architectural design drawings based on the partners' needs and land area. The shape of the building follows the shape of the triangular land with a vertical facade on the front side of the building to place the school's identity. The school's equipment consists of classrooms, a teacher's office, a principal's office, an administrative room, a library, a basketball field, and other complementary rooms. There is also a two-story mosque above the library building, a BLK room designed on the second floor, and a school hall room on the third floor. Apart from that, the design concept uses a local architectural theme to provide an identity related to the area's potential around the school.
