Abstract

Career development, compensation and leadership style are directly related to employee job satisfaction. Career development, compensation and leadership style perceived by employees can reduce job satisfaction or increase employee job satisfaction. Employees who are satisfied with the work obtained will be motivated to improve performance so that it will have an impact on increasing the performance of the company or organization as a whole. Therefore, it is expected that the organization must be aware of and create a management system that takes into account the factors that influence the work attitude of employees in order to achieve the goals of the organization itself. This study aims to analyze the effect of career development, compensation, and leadership style variables on employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted at PT Sinar Putra Metalindo, Cikarang. The number of samples set is 98 respondents with sampling using the saturated sample method. Measurements in the questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS 26 application program. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The results of testing the second hypothesis show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The results of testing the third hypothesis show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Several elements, including as leadership approach, inspiration, and work contentment, must be addressed in order to increase employee output. A corporation's leadership approach is significant since a proper leadership approach has an effect on staff, that can increase the company's revenue. Conversely, if inspiration and work contentment are treated properly, they can boost productivity and enable staff feel at ease in the workplace. PT Dunkindo Lestari is the subject of this study as a result of a decline in the company's organizational effectiveness. This study employs a quantitative method and is descriptive explanation in nature, multi-linear regression, hypothesis testing, classical assumption tests, coefficient of determination, as well as reliability and Validity test are among the data analysis techniques employed. The census sampling technique was used in this study, something that obtained overall representative of the entire population. Information was gathered from 46 personnel who participated as respondents via questionnaires, interviews, and documentation assessments. Our findings revealed how leadership approach, motivation, and work contentment really have a favorable and noteworthy impact on staff output. With such a coefficient of determination of 42.5 percent, a value of F arithmetic > F table of (12.105 > 3.22), and a value of T arithmetic > T table for the variables leadership style (1.707 < 2.015), motivation (-1.368 < 2.015), and work satisfaction (3.837 > 2.015).

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of discipline, communication, training during work from home on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. Employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III is a problem in completing its work because the WFH carried out by this company makes all performance limited and results in a decrease in employee performance. As a result, employees at the company find it difficult to carry out the tasks given, it is difficult to control employee activities and is still lacking in data reporting. On discipline, where discipline in the company decreases due to WFH so that employees in the company are late for absences, do other work during working hours, and lack of compliance with regulations. In communication, where communication within the company is lacking due to limited communication resulting in lack of coordination between superiors and subordinates, lack of attention from employees when listening to directions, decreased concentration at work, lack of tools such as those in the office. In this company training is lacking during WFH so that employees find it difficult to achieve targets, difficult to do tasks, and lack of understanding of tasks resulting in employees working below standard and ineffective. This study uses quantitative research with the sample used is 87 people. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression. Simple random sampling was used as a sampling method. In the t-test on the discipline variable with a value of (4,554 > 1,988), communication (3,285 > 1,988) and training (3,920 > 1,988) partially positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. In the F test, the variables of discipline, communication and training showed a positive and significant effect with a value (189.240>2.71) on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of unemployment and poverty on crime, especially in the province of East Java in an effort to maintain national defense. This research entirely uses secondary data obtained from BPS East Java. This study uses the analisis Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach with Eviews. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Unemployment has a positive and significant effect on crime in East Java. (2) Poverty has a positive and significant effect on crime in East Java. (3) Unemployment and Poverty have a simultaneous or joint effect on crime in East Java. Based on the results of this study, the authors suggest to the East Java Provincial Government to make policies that are oriented towards reducing the number of unemployment and poverty in East Java Province.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of discipline, training, supervision, on job satisfaction at PTPN III. In supporting job satisfaction, the company provides several benefits such as salary, bonuses, allowances, THR, leave money, premium school children assistance, overtime and facilities such as houses for those who work in plantations or factories and BPJS. In terms of discipline, the level of employee absenteeism is still high and there are still employees who arrive late and leave work early, this indicates that employees are still lacking discipline in terms of attendance. The training is carried out so that the ability of employees will increase, this will certainly add to the insight of employees and lead to new initiatives to achieve the goals of an agency. In supervision, the Covid 19 pandemic has resulted in employees working from home (work from home) so that companies cannot carry out effective supervision directly on employees. This study uses quantitative research with the research population is all employees of PTPTN III totaling 683 people with the sample used is 253 people. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression. Simple random sampling was used as a sampling method. In the t-test on discipline variables with values ​​(4.240>1.971), training (3.040>1.971) and supervision (4.453>1.971) partially positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PTPN III. In the F test, the variables of discipline, training, supervision showed a positive and significant influence with a value (30,064>2.67) on job satisfaction at PTPN III

Abstract

Dstyle is a business in the field of Fashion Online made from knitwear (Knitwear Specialist). With the market segment of adolescent women to adult women, Dstyle strives to meet market demands such as joining Marketplace (Shopee). The existence of a high level of competition makes knitwear fashion enter The Red Ocean where the market space becomes very competitive, in order to survive in the midst of competitors, it is necessary to design the right marketing strategy by providing more value to customers (focusing on creating new market spaces). Blue Ocean Strategy is the strategy chosen in the study, with 3 analytical tools namely Canvas Strategy, Four-Step Framework and ERRC Grid. From the results of the discussions that have been carried out, the proposed strategy is Knit Things, Reseller Price, Exclusivity is a strategy that has never existed so far, and is offered by competitors. Meanwhile, the attributes that need to be improved are product variations, innovations, promotions, and promos/discounts.

Abstract

Financial statements are a reference for companies and investors in making decisions. The function of financial reports which is always used as a benchmark in making decisions by various interested parties makes financial statements required to always be presented accurately. In addition, timeliness in the presentation of financial statements is also very necessary. The more timely the financial statements are presented, the faster the decision making will be made so that the decisions taken will be considered more accurate and precise and useful for the company. In this research, we analyze the factors that affect the Audit Report Lag in service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses the independent variables, namely firm age, profitability, solvency and firm size. The data we obtained was processed using the SPSS data processing application. The tests used in this study are the classical assumption test, the coefficient of determination test, the t test and the F test. The results of this study indicate that of the four independent variables used in this study, only the profitability variable affects the audit report lag simultaneously and partially, while the other three variables, namely firm size, firm age and profitability have no effect on the dependent variable audit hassle lag.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intentions play a central role in the entrepreneurial process as it is the initial stage of entrepreneurial activity that encourages individuals to start new businesses in a variety of industries. This research aims to find out the entrepreneurship intentions of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The object of the research is a student of the Faculty of Economics and Business UHAMKA. This research uses quantitative methods with comparative analysis, as this type of method is most widely used in entrepreneurial studies and makes it possible to support sample data collection, validation of theories and relationships between collected variables, generalizing the results of the research obtained, and replication of different samples. Two samples were collected through questionnaires taken from students who actively attended lectures before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first sample (sample 1) corresponds to the period before COVID-19, with 96 students having been collected between June 2019 and December 2019, while the second sample (sample 2), with 96 students, was collected during the pandemic period between August 2020 and February 2021. Data analysis methods include descriptive statistical tests, normality tests and Wilcoxon sign rank tests. The results showed that the overall indicators of behavioral planning theory, namely attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control before and during the covid-19 pandemic were different, meaning attitudes, subjective norms and control of student behavior were higher than before the pandemic. Student entrepreneurship intentions are higher during covid-19 than before covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how influential price is on a purchase decision, to find out how influential brand image is to a purchase decision, to know how influential service quality is to a purchase decision and to know how influential price, brand image and service quality are simultaneously. a purchasing decision for students of the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan. The population, namely all educational staff at the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan, is 80 people. The sampling technique was calculated by the Slovin formula so that a sample of 80 people. The results of the study are the price tcount value of 3.100 > 1.990 and sig <0.05 (0.003 <0.05), the tcount value of brand image is 4.727 > 1.990 and sig <0.05 (0.000 <0.05), the tcount value of service quality of 2.396 > 1.990 and sig < 0.05 (0.019 < 0.05), and the Fcount value of price, brand image and service quality simultaneously is 21.930 > 2.487 and sig < 0.05. The adjusted RSquare is 0.643 / R2 x 100%, which is 64.30%, this shows that the research independent variable allocates a lot of contribution when describing purchasing decisions worth 64.30% while the remaining 35.70% is influenced by other indications outside of this study. The conclusion of the study is that price has a significant effect on the purchasing decision of students of the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan where the sig < 0.05, brand image has a significant impact on the purchasing decision of students of the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan where the sig < 0.05; Service quality has a significant impact on the decision to purchase a student at the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan where the sig value is more than <0.05 and simultaneously price, brand image and service quality significantly affect the decision to purchase a student at the Faculty of Medicine UNPRI Medan where the sig value is <0.05.

Abstract

PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia is a joint venture company between ITOCHU Corporation and Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan and has been operating since May 2005. The purpose of establishing this company is to provide complete and best service to everyone who wants to get Suzuki motorized vehicles on credit easily. and safe. The results of this study can be seen that the partial hypothesis test obtained the value of the results of the calculation of motivation to obtain |3.014| > ttable > |0.214| and sig 0.04 < 0.05, the value of leadership results |-1.411| > ttable |0.214| and sig, 0.163 > 0.05, the result value of discipline |1.359| > ttable |0.214| and a sig of 0.179 <0.05 and the simultaneous result value Fcount (6.141) > Ftable (2.91) and a sig probability of 0.001 <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the influence of motivation, leadership, and work discipline simultaneously and partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia.
