Abstract

Oral is very important to be maintained so that oral disease does not occur. The purpose of this study was to find out how to prevent oral disease through hadith-based information services for Islamic Guidance and Counseling students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 30 students from the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program. The data collection techniques in this study were using observation and interview techniques. The result of this study is that the implementation of hadith-based information services in preventing oral disease is carried out through five stages, namely planning, organizing service elements and targets, implementation, assessment, and follow-up and reports. Thus, it can be concluded that hadith-based information services can be an alternative in preventing oral diseases in students from the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the empathy attitudes of Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling students at the Kudus State Islamic Institute as prospective counselors based on gender analysis. This study used a qualitative method with the type of Field Research research with a sample size of 120 Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling students at the Kudus State Islamic Institute, extracting data using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation and then analyzed using a descriptive percentage table. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in empathy between female research participants and male research participants with affective empathy components in the good category, namely 32% versus 42% and cognitive empathy in the good category 79% versus 80%. This can happen due to various things. Initially, the stereotype said that women are more nurturance and have an interpersonal orientation compared to men so that it has an impact on the level of empathy they have.

Abstract

The problem that will be faced by resident drug addicts is when they have left the rehabilitation center and returned to the community. Like being ostracized, the negative stigma from society with the negative stigma they get, resident drug addicts experience discrimination from various parties, even though they have stopped using drugs. One of the causes of drug abuse is that there is no meaningful life in the individual so that someone is very vulnerable to falling into negative things such as being oriented to drug seeking. This study aims to provide an overview of how to grow the meaning of life of drug addict residents in the after care program by using the concept of Tazkiyyatun nafs Imam Al-Ghazali in self-management techniques. The method used in this research is the library research method and literature study which is carried out by analyzing from various reference sources and drawing a sharp and critical analysis so that it can provide a rational and logical picture. This method is carried out by taking several references related to the view of tazkiyyatun an nafs and Self-Management from several reference books, journal references and other scientific articles.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this research are to find out how big the Self Acceptance of Broken Home students is before getting the Solution-Focused Brief Group Counseling approach at MTs Al-Ikhwan Banjarmasin, to find out how much influence Solution-Focused Brief Group Counseling has to increase the Self Acceptance of Broken children. Home at MTs Al-Ikhwan Banjarmasin, and To find out how effective Solution-Focused Brief Group Counseling is to increase the Self Acceptance of Broken Home children at MTs Al-Ikhwan Banjarmasin. The type of research used is experimental research (non parametric). The results of the study on the level of self-acceptance of broken home students before getting the Solution-Focused Brief Group Counseling approach at MTs Al-Ikhwan Banjarmasin were in low categorization. The increase in self-acceptance of children with broken homes through a solution-focused brief group counseling approach is evenly distributed, in other words, pre-test data has a significant relationship/influence with post-test data.

Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has issued a policy regarding home learning (Online/BDR). This makes parental assistance to children in learning disciplines more strategic. Until now, not many have studied research on parental assistance in disciplining children's learning. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected in in-depth interview techniques and participatory observation. The data source is the primary source (parents, either father or mother) which is approached purposively, and followed by snowball sampling. The data were further validated by source triangulation technique. The collected data was then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive data analysis technique. The results of the study resulted in 3 models of mentoring in disciplining children to learn in the pandemic era, namely: First, the Oral Model (Inviting children to study, Encouraging children, and Reminding if there are tasks that have not been done). Second, the Action Model (Limiting the use of gadgets, Accompanying and helping/teaching children to learn, Creating a regular study schedule, Learning homework, and training children to be independent and interested in learning), Third, Additional Models (Consultation with teachers, Explaining the Covid-19 situation, and Provide additional tutoring/learning facilities

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of group guidance on mind mapping and problem solving techniques to improve students' critical thinking skills in mathematics. This study used a random control group pretest-posttest design, involving 14 students of SMKN 3 Sukabumi. The data analysis technique used is one-way Anova. The results showed that the group guidance of mind mapping and problem solving techniques was effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in mathematics. Through this research, it is expected to be able to provide understanding to students that it is important to have critical thinking skills because students have developmental tasks that must be achieved in order to develop optimally with regard to mathematics subjects to be more responsible and consequently.

Abstract

As for the background of the authors conducting this research is the existence of some students who have not prayed properly such as not hastening to the mosque or mushalla after the call to prayer, I did not do the tahiyyatul prayer before sitting, most students prefer to do other activities, many also learners who perform prayers by force and are still lazing in the classroom despite being reprimanded by the homeroom teacher, not a few students who still took time to the canteen. Application or process (deed) fulfill (obligation, duty). From the research carried out, it can be seen that the Guidance and Counseling teacher strategy in providing an understanding of the practice of the students' prayers has gone quite well by providing material about prayer in general to students in accordance with the material students have learned. The research method by the author is one of the descriptive qualitative field research. This research was conducted on students of class VIII at MTsN 2 Bukittinggi. The key informants were guidance and counseling teachers and supporting informants for PAI students and teachers. The author collects data with observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data processing techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis and techniques to test the validity of the data with data triangulation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the effect of a person's mental health which is influenced by events in life that have a major impact on a person's personality and behavior. These events can include catching up in the household, children, or long term. The literature study combines the study of the literature found by the authors. The results showed; 1) The victim is very traumatized by the sexual incident and must be accompanied by a counselor for his decision. 2) handling of victims, with several conditions experienced by victims after treatment, including; a) feel relieved and already want to talk to other people and family b). feel have the spirit of life c). His condition is more stable because he feels comfortable after receiving therapy from a counselor.

Abstract

Negative labeling on children can have a negative impact on children. Children will feel isolated, sad, disappointed, and can even make negative behavior worse. The purpose of this study was to find out how to increase students' understanding of negative labeling through Al-Qur'an-based group guidance. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data collection techniques are observation and interview techniques. The subjects of this study were 10 students of the Islamic Guidance and Extension Study Program, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results of this study are: (1) The implementation of Al-Qur'an-based group guidance through four stages, namely the formation stage, the transition stage, the activity stage (core), and the termination stage, and (2) Students' understanding of negative labeling has improved both in aspects of (a) an understanding of the meaning of negative labeling, (b) an understanding of the causes of negative labeling, (c) an understanding of the various types of labeling, (d) an understanding of the impact of negative labeling on individuals, and (e) an understanding of how to prevent negative labeling behavior towards others.

Abstract

Leadership is needed by every individual so that an activity carried out in daily life can be directed and well organized so that it can achieve predetermined goals. In this case, Islam as a religion of rahmatan lil 'alamin has regulated how leadership characteristics can lead humans not only to the achievement of worldly goals but will also bring people to their true goals, namely the hereafter. The purpose of this study is to find out how Islamic teaching-based group guidance improves understanding of leadership characteristics in the view of Islam. This research uses qualitative research methods while the data collection techniques in this study are documentation techniques. The subjects in the study were 10 students from the Islamic Guidance and Counseling study program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are (a) Islamic teaching-based group guidance has been carried out through four stages namely the formation stage, the transition stage, the activity stage, and the termination stage, and (b) The students' understanding of the characteristics of leadership in Islam which includes siddiq, tabligh, amanah and fathonah have increased after the implementation of group guidance based on Islamic teachings.
