The availability of qualified human resources will affect the safety of rail travel. Guaranteed safety of this trip materialized from the minimum number of train accidents that occurred. In identifying the causes of train accidents, the human error factor is largely the main cause. This is what causes human resources to become an important concern in the operation of trains. Data were collected by using questionnaires consisting of perception questionnaire on railway safety and work stress. Interviews were used to complete the questionnaire results. Data analysis was done by regression analysis to know the influence of safety perception to work stress. The results showed that 77% of the respondents had low safety perception, while the other 23% had high perception of safety. As many as 70% of machinists have high work stress, while 30% have low work stress. Safety perception proved to be related to work stress experienced by machinist. This is indicated by a variable of -, 338 which states that the relationship between perception of safety proved to have a relationship with job stress of 0.338 with a negative relationship. This relationship analysis is evidenced by Pearson Correlation. Regression analysis obtained correlation coefficient of 0.114 which states that 11.4% work stress is influenced by the perception of safety

Indonesian Railroad Academy Madiun is one of the education UPTs under the Ministry of Transportation which houses the railway sector. To support education in the Madiun API and in accordance with the 2017 Revised Madiun API Master Plan, it is necessary to have additional lines, namely the Madiun API outer ring. Autocad Civil 3D software is very useful in providing an innovative, effective and efficient solution in the process of planning civil engineering specifically for the manufacture of railroad lines so that it is easier, faster and lower cost with the methodology of working on inputting land survey data and carrying out the next alignment design automatically cutting pieces of data transverse, longitudinal, gallian volume and auto fill have been obtained. The planning data that is the speed of the plan used is 30 km / h with a track width of 1,067m. design length of 1234,187m with a slope of 0,0009 or 0.09% below the maximum standard of 10 per ‰, cumulative fill 15584.68 m³ and comulative cut 5719.08 m³.

Checking elevation differences due to deflection on the railroad (skilu) is needed to ensure the safety of train travel. Skilu measurements can be done with a measuring train and a manual densometer. For manual measurement, we need tools that can measure dynamic elections more accurately and efficiently. This research is intended to make these tools using ultrasonic proximity sensors with data processing by a microcontroller. The measurement accuracy of the experimental results of this tool is obtained by comparing the densometer deflection gauge. The results show that the tool can measure elections every 0.1 second (realtime) with an accuracy rate of 98.84%. In addition to the election measurements, this tool can also measure the speed of a passing train and the rail temperature when a train passes. The measurement results can help optimize the care needed for the election that occurs at the observation site.

Noise control must be carried out as to reduce the noise level to the level specified according to the standard for a particular environment, for example a train station. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of noise intensity with work stress levels to employees at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), to measure noise intensity at Madiun Station and Yogyakarta, and to analyze work stress levels. experienced by employees. The results show that the noise value has exceeded the threshold value (NAV) determined by Kep-51 / MEN / 1999 and OSHA Standards, which is 85 dBA at 8 hours / day working hours which is in the range of 86.21 - 96.35 dBA , this noise level was received by 34 employees or 54.9%, while employees who were not exposed to noise under NAV were 26 people or 45.1%. The results also showed that the noise intensity at Yogyakarta Station was higher than at Madiun Station.

One effort to reduce noise levels is urban planning. However, in big cities this is often not achieved due to population growth and the unavailability of balanced land. So that houses and buildings must be built close together and even close to the railroad tracks. All long-distance trains to the East (West Java, Central Java, East Java and Yogyakarta Special Region), both economy class, business and executive trains departing from Jakarta Kota Station, Pasar Senen Station and Gambir Station will pass through Bekasi Station until with Cirebon Station. From the data on the number of train trips according to the 2015 Train Travel Chart (Gapeka), there are approximately 122 trips each day. Train activities with frequent travel frequencies throughout the day can cause positive and negative externalities. Positive externalities felt by people who live close to trains include savings in transportation costs and ease and speed of access. The negative externalities, namely noise pollution, safety, and the risk of crime in the form of stone throws. Noise is one parameter to measure environmental quality

Queue is a common situation that is common in everyday life where consumers wait in front of the counter to get a turn of service or service facilities. The study aims to determine the performance of the queuing system at the train ticket counter at Yogyakarta Tugu Station. This research is an action research. The population in this study are all customers who come to Yogyakarta Tugu Railway Station to purchase train tickets. Sampling using accidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are the method of observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used queuing formulas for Model B: M / M / S. The results showed that the performance of the queuing system at the train ticket counter at Yogyakarta Tugu Station was not optimal.

One example of technological developments in signaling systems in Indonesia is the use of detection facilities on rail lines. A detector is a device that functions to detect the presence or absence of train facilities on the railroad track. Detection equipment is divided into two types, namely axle counter and track circuit. Track circuit detects the presence of trains on the rails, while the axle counter functions to count train axles. This study aims to find a detection system for facilities that is suitable and in accordance with the conditions of the Surabaya-Madiun cross and find out the characteristics for the installation of detection facilities in accordance with the pathway. To find out the appropriate facility system, the two tools are analyzed in terms of system reliability, environmental influences, advantages and disadvantages, disruptions, maintenance, and operations. The results showed that an effective and efficient way of detecting traffic in Surabaya - Madiun was the detection of a double head axle counter facility. This tool is very suitable to be installed in the emplacement.

The quality of railroad service users in accordance with customer expectations can increase the tendency of customers to make repeat purchases, provide recommendations to others about their beneficial experiences, while customer loyalty is related to the possibility of returning customers, making business references, giving strong words, and offering references and publicity about services on the train. This study is a cross-sectional study where testing is based on data that occurs at one point in time, so that the model built is not designed to capture changes that occur due to time shift. The analysis in this study uses the statistical method of the Structural Equation Model (SEM). From the results of this study it can be concluded that the price, service quality, and customer satisfaction variables influence consumer attitudes towards loyalty applied to the Argowilis Train. This gives understanding for the Argowilis Train to see prices, improve service quality, and increase customer satisfaction.

Transportation safety must be obeyed by all modes of transportation. The railroad crossing is one point that has the potential for conflict between railroad shares and road users. In accordance with applicable regulations, railroad facilities are prioritized when passing level crossings. In fact, road users often try to break the rules. This research aims to present alternative solutions to improve the safety of road users and railroad lines at cross section level. This research uses a method that begins with a literature study. Next through the design phase, the prototype stage and finally the testing phase. The results of this study are the prototype of the railroad direction detector and the identification of electronic-based railways by using an Arduino Microcontroller. The result shows an LCD board that can provide information to road users for the train's arrival direction and train name. With this information it is expected that road users are more concerned with safety and can be careful when passing a level crossing.

This study was structured with the aim of carrying out topographic measurements and analyzing grading planning in the API Madiun campus area. The study was conducted using a Total Station measurement tool and a 3D Autocad Civil 3D imaging tool. Surveyor personnel used in carrying out measurements are surveyors who are trained using Total Station equipment. The study produced ten benchmark point (BM) locations as a measurement reference in areas within the Madiun API land. The topographic analysis results from the contour map identified the Madiun API land area as relatively flat with the difference between the lowest and highest elevation of 5.132 m with an average slope of 3.32%. The grading plan shows that there are two main areas that require landfills with the total pile volume requirement of 8,281.4 m3. Evaluation of the implementation of measurements shows the need for supervision and evaluation so as not to make mistakes that can occur by the measurement implementer. The use of Autocad Civil 3D software tools facilitates and accelerates the process of depicting engineering and land grading planning. Measurement with Total Station and depiction with Autocad Civil 3D needs to be optimized by integration into the lecture syllabus in order to become one of the soft skill competencies possessed by graduates of Building Engineering and Railways of API Madiun.
