Tunnel construction in the Jakarta MRT (MRTJ) is a concrete tunnel that was built using the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) drill machine. Tunnel walls in underground construction use pre-cast (segment) concrete materials arranged in a circle directly into one ring segment by TBM. Tunnel checks are needed to be the basis of diagnosis in tunnel care. Tunnel maintenance is carried out to maintain the condition of the tunnel to function properly and safely to be operated in a sustainable manner in accordance with the predicted load, including: the burden of soil or overburden, dead load and live load, load due to water pressure, earthquake load, and other loads that will affect tunnel construction. The results of the study that damage to the tunnel wall can be classified as leaks and cracks. Examination of components in the MRTJ tunnel wall by paying attention to the detail part of the wall in the form of segment bolts, connections between segments, concrete structures in segments. As for the maintenance carried out to repair and prevent tunnel wall leaks, it can be done by grouting polyurethane liquids and replacing rubber sealing on the bolts, for treatment due to cracks can be done by grouting liquid microscopy and plastering.

This research discusses the calculation of railroad operating costs, the railroad operating costs are very important because it is related to determining the level of profit from setting a railroad transportation service tariff. The current train operating costs are indicated to be not yet competitive compared to the same mode operating costs in other countries, this study looks at the constituent components of train operating costs based on predetermined regulations. Based on the results of the analysis of the calculation of railroad operating costs at present the percentage of railroad direct costs is 23% and the percentage of railroad indirect costs is 77%. The percentage of costs is still large in the indirect costs which resulted in not yet being able to obtain competitive operating costs, whereas when compared to the costs of railroad operations abroad, in the UK the maintenance costs of trains are around 16% - 30% while in Indonesia around 6%. The cost of railway operations in the UK is 66% -73% while in Indonesia it reaches around 91%. The author suggests to reduce the percentage of indirect costs by making profitable business breakthroughs.

This research was prepared with the aim of carrying out the calculation of the capacity of the traction substation and analyzing the carrying capacity of the Kranji Traction Substation at the operation of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Train at rush hour in the morning. This research was conducted with data sources in the form of a train circuit arrangement, filling distance between traction substations, headway, double track type, train consumption ratio, and total train weight. The capability parameters of the substation carrying capacity are measured based on the narrowing of the 8.5 minute, 5 minute and 3 minute headway and the blackout of the Cakung substation. The plan load value is obtained based on the ratio of the maximum current load to the headway constriction load. Carrying capacity is measured based on the comparison of planned load values to the existing capacity of substations. The results of the analysis stated the rectifier load was 2626.42 kW and the transformer load was 3533 kVA on all types of parameters. With a rectifier capacity of 43% and a transformer of 51%. An evaluation of the results of the data analysis showed that the Kranji Traction Station was able to supply power for the operation of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Train in the morning rush hour.

The increase of population in Indonesia especially in Jabodetabe from year to year has increased significantly, as well as the number of private vehicles which from year to year has increased. By not compensating for the increase in road length, then there will be congestion in the next few years. PT. KCJ is here to deal with the problem. By using rail mode transportation, it will reduce the number of vehicles operating on the highway, thereby reducing congestion. To meet the number of travel needs and offset the increase in population in Greater Jakarta, the availability of facilities at PT. KCJ must comply with applicable provisions. By optimizing the time of maintenance of the facilities, it will obtain the availability of adequate facilities. In this analysis, we use network planning method to determine the optimal maintenance time of suggestion. In optimizing the maintenance time of the facilities there are several things that influence, among others: the needs of employees, the competence of personnel maintenance personnel, and reduction of existing backlog. At the end of the research will be known the most optimal time to perform the final treatment, so the availability of facilities will be fulfilled with due regard to the reliability of the means.

Railroad transportation has characteristics in the pattern of operation that a block block is only allowed to be passed by a train facility whose safety is guaranteed by the railroad signaling system. The existing signaling system in Indonesia currently uses a wayide signal aspect indicator and has not been equipped with a warning and protection system against violations of the unsafe signal aspect / SPAD (Signal Pass At Danger) or speed limit violations. To improve travel safety absolutely requires warning equipment for drivers about violations of signal aspects and violations of speed restrictions. This study discusses the calculation of the braking profile on the CC201 series electric locomotive and the Anti-Collition Device (ACD) prototype design using the Audio Frequency (AF) induction system using Dual Tone Multiple Frequency (DTMF) coding as well as the Atmel AT89S52 type Microcontroller control system. Based on the analysis of the braking distance at a speed of 120 Km / h using the minden method, the AF sensor is installed at a distance of 1,168.79 meters before the incoming signal. Based on the measurement results of the signal intensity received by the DTMF locomotive sensor, the biggest signal is at the gap gap between the AF sensors with a distance of 80 mm, while for the lowest reading level at a distance of 120mm.

PT KAI (Persero) has never stopped transforming itself. His transformation was highly considered when PT KAI (Persero) was under the authority of Jonan Ignasius. Edi Sukmoro then continued the transformation. Some improvements in service quality at each train station require appreciation from various aspects. At present, security is improved, tickets are easier to obtain, and travel is more convenient because trains are provided by AC. However, given the costs involved, installation of air conditioners in all business and economy class cars does not apply central air conditioning but divides air conditioning as applied in the home or office. This research is to find out the most efficient air conditioning in consuming energy in trains, therefore, it is conducted. This study also investigates the most effective air conditioning in cooling. The results showed that the energy efficiency of split air coolers was lower than central air coolers. Regarding cooling capacity, central AC is produced by PT INKA which has a higher cooling capacity than split AC.
