Abstract

This study examines consumer-based brand equity of Cap Kaki Tiga-label branding and relative significance of brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand association on brand loyalty. As additional, this study aims to test the role of brand loyalty as a mediator on the relationship of its predictors on brand equity. A survey instrument was developed, scale measures were pretested, and the final survey was administered directly to 210 respondents. Based on Aaker’s conceptual framework, a structural equation model (SEM) was designed to analyse the proposed relationships. A causal order between brand equity dimensions was established. The results suggest that the positive effects of brand awareness, perceived quality and brand association on brand loyalty, and overall brand equity are mediated by brand loyalty. Marketing managers should focus on brand loyalty in order to increase overall brand equity, and should give special attention to brand awareness, since it is the factor with the strongest impact on brand loyalty.

Abstract

The objectives of the study are: (a) to identify internal and external factors affecting Inspection Company in the technical inspection services industry; (b) to find the suitable and effective business strategy for Inspection Company in order to increasing sales performance in the strong competition environment. Data collection techniques required in this study is using primary data (information and data) (case studies and literature). The first step to be done in this research is the input stage, followed by the Matching Stage, and the last stage is the decision analysis. The Result of the research are: (a) recommended strategy for Inspection Company is product development; (b) the second recommendation of the business strategy is horizontal integration.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of training, work dicipline and organization communication toward employee performance. The sample used in the study amounted to 158 employees. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of managing data using SPSS version 22 software. The results of this study indicate that training, organization communication partially have a significant effect on the employee performance, and work dicipline partially haven’t a significant effect on the employee performances. And training, work dicipline, organization communication a simultaneously have a significant effect on the employees Performances.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, Management Efficiency and Liquidity Management ratios on profitability proxied by bank Return On Assets (ROA), by analyzing the annual financial statements that have been published in 2013-2017. The variables used in analyzing the financial statements of Sharia Commercial Banks that are sampled are Asset Quality which is proxied by Non Performing Financing (NPF), Liquidity Management which is proxied by Financing to Debt Ratio (FDR), Management Efficiency proxied by Net Operating Margin (NOM), and Capital Adequacy proxied by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The sample in this study was 11 Islamic commercial banks for 5 years, namely 2013-2017. The results showed that Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, and Liquidity Management significantly influenced the profitability of Islamic commercial banks. Whereas Management Efficiency does not affect the profitability of Islamic commercial banks. Based on these results, Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia must increase capital, reduce problematic financing by improving internal processes, and increase bank liquidity by increasing fundraising.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain an analysis of marketing initiatives through corporate social responsibility to increase willingness to purchase that gives effect through brand image. Especially for brands that are experiencing a brand image crisis, through this research, one of the steps that can be taken is through corporate social responsibility. The research sample uses a questionnaire method consisting of 230 respondents in two elementary schools that were held in the Kampung Dongeng Teh Sisri Village. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression statistical methods. The results showed that corporate social responsibility had a positive effect on willingness to purchase both directly and through brand image, corporate social responsibility had a positive effect on brand image, then brand image also had a positive effect on willingness to purchase.

Abstract

PT.X is a contractor that has productivity problem that is affected by the cost of preliminaries cost. Preliminaries cost for PT. X is divided into 5 parts consisting of employee costs, general costs, financial costs, preparation costs and equipment costs. Employee costs have the largest portion of the cost of other preliminaries. In this study, the authors intend to review the effect of cost preliminaries on productivity in PT. X. The results of the research show that employee costs are 43% of the total cost of preliminaries and 5% of the VOW value. Further research shows that the building type of the project, the number of employees, and employee salaries have a positive effect on the productivity value of a project. The strategy that companies can implement to increase productivity is to set project productivity targets of 480 million / person / month and 45 rp / rp.

Abstract

This study was to detect the effect of training and motivation on employee performance studies in the limited partnership. This research was conducted with survey method and performed in 40 employees of PT Asia Multidana. The sampling technique used random sampling and testing techniques of data used in this study include tests of validity by factor analysis, reliability tests with Cronbach alpha, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test to test and prove the hypothesis of the study. The data collected is tested for validity by factor analysis method and tested reliability with an alpha coefficient (Cronbach alpha), which is the result of all the data is valid and reliable. The results of the analysis and discussion show that: (1) training positively affect the performance of employees, (2) positive motivation does not affect the performance of the employee.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the company’s internal and external factors, strategic planning, and service differentiation to implement the exact business strategy within the company. This research is a study case of XYZ company which moving in technology information business industry. The data in this research was collected through field and library method. The research results showed that XYZ company has implemented the service differentiation and has the above average response in facing threats and opportunities that exist in its business so that the company can use the SO strategy and expansion strategy as its business strategy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of brand image, perceive price and product quality on purchase intention. The number of sample in this study was 160 respondents consisting of potential customers and the customers Honda Brio Satya of PT. Honda Prospect Motor in Jakarta. The technique to sampling unit analysis was convenience nonprobality sampling method. The results of this study as follow. First, it was found that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Second, perceive price has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Third, product quality has a positive effect on purchase intention. Fourth, brand image, price perception and product quality jointlyl effect purchase intention of Honda Brio customer. Therefore, to improve the purchase intention of the customers, the company should give a great concern to brand image, price and the quality of Honda car production.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of Earning Per Share, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Price Earning Ratio on the stock price of food and beverage companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013 to 2017. The research sample consists of 12 companies, that were selected by using a purposive technique sampling method for the period of 2013-2017. The method to analyse the research questions was by using the statistical method of multiple linear regression method. The result found that Earning Per Share and Price Earning Ratio partially have significant influences on the stock price. Whilst Debt to Equity Ratio partially doesn’t have a significant influence. However, Earning Per Share, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Price Earning Ratio have joint effects on the stock price of the food and beverage companies. The coefficient determination of this model was found to be about only 21,9%. This suggests that the three independent variables underestimated have a lack of explanatory power of the stock price of food and beverage companies. Hence, further studies to seek other independent variables in the model are suggested to improve the model underestimated.
