An optimal capital structure is an important financial result because it increases the performance and value of a company. Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Debt Equity Ratio (DER) and Cash Position (CP), against the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) on manufacturing companies specially in consumption sector In Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2015-2017. This study also purposes to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Debt Equity Ratio (DER) and Cash Position (CP) simultaneous against the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). This research was used a causal associative method by taking secondary data. The selection of sample used purposive sampling method. From the predetermined criteria obtained a sample of 13 companies. Analysis using SPSS Program.Based on statistical t test, the result of the research shows that Return on Assets (ROA) had a significant, negative effect on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Meanwhile, other variables like Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Cash Position (CP) did not affect the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Based on F test indicates that variables Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Cash Position (CP) simultaneously affect Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) on manufacturing companies on consumption sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2015-2017.

Abstract

The aim of this study are : first, to explore the effect of brand personality towards commitment to the brand. Second, to explore the effect of trust in the brand towards commitment to the brand. Third, to explore the effect of attachment to the brand towards commitment to the brand. The method of data collection is convenience sampling. The samples of this research are colleted from 113 respondent. The technique of data analysis used in this study was multiple regression analysis via the SPSS computer programme version 26. The results are : first, brand personality hasn’t a positive impact towards commitment to the brand. Second, trust in the brand hasn’t a positive impact towards commitment to the brand. Third, attachment to the brand has a positive and the main impact towards commitment to the brand.

Abstract

This thesis provides an understanding of the importance of strategic management as a part of business management. Through case study of an existing medium-sized enterprise, a standard strategic management framework is presented. The purpose is to redesign the company’s current strategy to ensure further successful developments.The analysis begins with strategic management which forms the basis for the introduction of the main concepts and stages of a strategic management process. Then a comprehensive analysis of an external and internal environment of the company is explained to formulate revised long-term strategies. The results of the internal and external audit identify key areas of the company’s future success, which are customer orientation, implementation of the most modern technologies, ensuring effective and efficient processes, strengthening established partnerships and increasing employee engagement.The methods used in this study are SWOT, IE analysis and QSPM Matrix. The results showed the company’s business was in a position of grow and built and SO strategy were chosen because the strength could be a barrier to competitors and the industry opportunities that the company could use to expand the company. QSPM Matrix results market development strategy as the company’s main strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a effect with marketing mix to purchase satisfaction and whether it relates to marketing global product mix and local brands to purchase satisfaction by conducting a survey of 143 respondents using global and/or local lubricants brand.. The independent variable used in this study is the marketing mix, namely product, price, place and promotion, while the dependent variable in this study is purchase satisfaction. This type of research is explanatory research with quantitative research. The location of the study was conducted at Jasmine Mansion Mansion Kemayoran, Jakarta. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, regression analysis and comparative analysis using SPSS for Windows 25. The results of this study indicate product variables, prices, places and promotions related to purchases, both simultaneously and partially. From the results of comparative analysis shows there is no difference between product variables, price, place and promotion of global and local brand lubricant products to purchase satisfaction

Abstract

It is undeniable that the world is moving towards to an era of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). M&A that emerged in Asia began with a change in policy after the economic crisis. In the period of 2012 - 2015, based on reports from McKinsey and Reuters showed an increase in the value of mergers and acquisitions in Indonesia amounted to 16.7%, which at the same time M&A in the Asia Pacific and the world experienced a decline. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Companies performance that conduct M&A both in terms of financial and market value. The samples in this study consisted of 16 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2009-2017. Financial performance will be measured using financial ratios and market performance will be measured using Tobin's Q ratio. The results of this study indicate that it takes a long time to show that there is a synergy between companies conducting mergers and acquisitions.

Abstract

The economy in Indonesia is experiencing a decline which can be seen from the decline in the Composite Stock Price Index in Indonesia. The decline in the value of the Composite Stock Price Index and Liquid 45 Index (LQ45) affected the rupiah exchange rate against US dollars that have passed the psychological level limit of Rp. 15,000 per 1 USD. The weakening of the rupiah and the index value of the stock was triggered by an increase in interest rates set by the Federal which increase Fed Fund Rate to 2.25% in September 2018.This study aims to explain whether it is true that the announcement of changes in the central bank's fed funds rate in the United States can be related and influence the Stock Price Index and Exchange Rates in other countries, especially in Indonesia.After collecting and processing data with Path Analysis, the results show that the impact in average of the fed fund rate to the average return LQ45 index has the strongest effect compared to other variables, then the strongest effect value is produced by the effect of average return Composite Stock Price Index to the average return of the US Dollar - Rupiah which is negative 0.76. After going through the mediation process, the indirect effect that occurs between the average fed fund rate on the average return of the US Dollar – Rupiah is positive 0.451, which significantly stagnant and changes the direction of the effect compared to its direct effect of negative 0.46.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and prove work, work experience and leadership styles on employee work simultaneously or partially. This study used a survey using a questionnaire to 96 respondents, PT ELKAU staff. Sample selection is based on random sampling everywhere Every participant has the same opportunity to take samples. The results of this study prove that work motivation, work experience and leadership styles simultaneously influence employee performance. Partially, work experience increases performance with a significant level of 0,000, work motivation while positive performance on performance is significant level of 0.017 and leadership style increases positive performance on work performance with a significant level of 0,000. Further research is expected to add other factors that can improve job performance.

Abstract

Human resource is one of the most important aspects of an organization. There are several indicators that can influence human resources which include but not limited to training, development, performance, and satisfaction. The goal from this research is to analyze the effect of training on employees’ performance, to analyze the effect of development on employees’ performance, to analyze the effect of employees’ satisfaction on their performance, and to analyze the effect of training and development on employees’ performance in PT XYZ. The sample size in this study is 70 people. The method used in this study is quantitative and the instrument used is questionnaire which is then analyzed using SPSS 22. The results are: (1) Training have a significant influence on employees’ performance (p-value < 0.05, 0.004), (2) Development do not have a significant influence on employees’ performance (p value > 0.05, 0.473), (3) Employees’ satisfaction have a significant influence on employees’ performance (p-value < 0.05, 0.00), (4) Training and development have a significant influence on employees’ performance (sig. value < 0.05 in the Anova test, 0.00).
