Prosiding National Conference for Community Service Project (NaCosPro) merupakan wadah bagi para akademisi maupun masyarakat umum dalam mendesiminasikan artikel ilmiah hasil-hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di berbagai bidang pengabdian, terutama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang melibatkan juga pihak swasta/business, pemerintah dan community (masyarakat) dalam rangka menyelesaikan permasalahan di masyarakat menuju terwujudnya kesejahteraan dan pemerataan pembangunan di masyarakat. Prosiding ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menumbuhkan ide-ide inovatif dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan langsung di masyarakat sehingga akan melahirkan pemikiran dan gagasan bagi peningkatan tri dharma perguruan tinggi untuk masyarakat.

Abstract

From the initial survey and the joint interview, Mr. Amigus Arif as the chairman of RT 02 RW 02 on Setokok Island, stated that the lives of the people were trapped with loans with loan sharks. This is due to the lack of knowledge about how to manage money well. For this reason, Community Service was funded by the DPRM Community Partnership Program (PKM) with the aim of motivating and encouraging the coastal communities of Setokok Island in Batam City to form fishing cooperatives there as a solution. The target of the service was the coastal community of Setokok Island, Bulang Sub-District, Batam City, Riau Islands. The method used is observation to the location of partners conducting interviews, discussions, and conducting counseling and coaching with the community there. Topics and materials provided in counseling and guidance, namely: Introduction of cooperatives, types of cooperatives and their benefits, and social media marketing. This service level is in addition to increasing people's knowledge about cooperatives, they can also form fishing cooperatives later.

Abstract

Covid-19's global pandemic has caused chaos in various countries of the world. One of those affected by the pandemic is Indonesia. The health sector, economic sector, and security sector could be threatened in the current global pandemic. The need for people to get used to a healthy lifestyle is now very important. The purpose of this activity is to help the community independently make masks to be useful to protect themselves, especially during this pandemic. Masks have become an important daily need for daily use. In addition, with the increasing need for masks, mask prices have also increased and decreased mask availability especially during the initial pandemic period. This activity is designed to provide education in the form of a cloth mask-making tutorial to the public through webinars and social media such as YouTube that can be accessed.

Abstract

Kampung Tua, Kelurahan Patam Lestari, Kecamatan Sekupang, Kota Batam memiliki sistem keamanan masyarakat yang tergolong kurang. Tidak ketatnya pengontrolan kendaraan keluar masuk wilayah menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan masyarakat. RW dan RT sadar akan hal ini namun dikarenakan anggaran yang terbatas, perangkat pun tidak bisa melakukan tindakan guna memperbaiki sistem keamanan masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka diperlukan pembangunan portal jalan supaya warga dapat membatasi kendaraan asing yang keluar masuk Kampung Tua dengan bebas. Penyelesaian masakah ini diatasi dengan menggunakan 3 tahap yang terdiri atas observasi, perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Tua yang mana merupakan RW 01 dari Kelurahan Patam Lestari dengan luaran mengharapkan sistem keamanan masyarakat dapat meningkat dan warga pun merasakan kenyamanan.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many negative effects on the economy of Indonesia. A number of citizens (regular workers) have lost their job, meaning they have lost their main source of income, which was the reason why the writer has chosen to do a distribution of food supplies to families in need, especially in Sub-district Nongsa Batam Island. In the process of making, there weren’t any unsolvable issues. The only issue that was considered a problem was asking for permission from the person-in-charge of the selected residence. The method of this activity is by fundraising, by posting in stories or feeds on Instagram.

Abstract

SEPORA activities are community service activities for Batam International University students. In the title of our article, which is improving the Posyandu and implementing go green in Happy Garden is a form of concern for comfort and the environment there. With the aim that the emergence of public awareness about the importance of greening, cleanliness, and care for their environment. With the hope that the surrounding community can continue to take the initiative to go green. the target of community service is the Happy Garden housing community in the Baloi Indah area of Batam. The stage that we do is hold a meeting with the head of the region what we can help to meet the needs of its citizens by conducting questions and answers and suggestions, then we conduct a field survey. The results of our community service activities gave satisfaction to residents of Happy Garden housing, we got good feedback from RW mothers and our work was truly satisfying. The Happy Garden posyandu looks new and is becoming green. I hope that the reforestation we provide can be maintained well and alive

Abstract

In this COVID19 pandemic period, there are some citizens who understand the danger of this virus. They prefer to stay at home rather than go outside the house. Hence there is a decreasing profit that is suffered by the sellers in the market ABC. But there are also citizens who still belittle the danger of this virus maybe. According to the sellers of market ABC, there are still people who don't follow the health protocol and this causes anxiety and worries of the sellers in the market ABC. The method that writers use in this report is science and technology as an information platform that is sharing information with citizens. Writers will share information about COVID19 and how to start a new normal life to increase the profit of the sellers. By sharing information writers hope that this platform can increase the consciousness of citizens.

Abstract

In this era of information disclosure, the campaign to win a candidate is carried out in various ways. The purpose of this Community Service is to conduct socialization so that recipients of information will not be trapped in a heated situation with lots of hoaxes and misleading information. This activity was carried out using the focus group discussion method through the online "WhatsUp group" and fellow alumni from the Department of Civil Engineering, Institute of Technology Bandung '92. The output target is to provide socialization and increase understanding of all information circulating in the presidential election campaign period from a political economy perspective. Participants felt enlightened and began to understand the situation in society ahead of the Presidential election.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve children's education programs in Kampung Jawa - Batam City, considering that school-age children are still not proficient in numeracy, which is caused by limited infrastructure and experts. The method used here is the method of teaching while playing, using a game that we have designed with the method of "Advanced Counting After Playing 10 Times". Besides that, he also created an open donation movement on social media, to get proper textbooks. The result of the implementation that has been carried out is that there has been progressed in the education of school-age children where some children have started to recognize numbers and are starting to be able to add small numbers, and also thanks to the open donations we have made, children in Kampung Jawa-Batam now have lots of books to study.

Abstract

Kelembak Village is a village located in Nongsa District that has potential and value to be a tourism area for local people and foreign tourists called Kelembak Cultural Tourism Village, where will be a tourist village with Malay culture in the 1960s era. The area of ​​Kelembak Village which is being developed into a tourism area is 6 hectares and the locations for the development of tourist area had been determined by residents but they do not have a tourist map to guide visitors on a tour and the purpose of the social activity is to make a Kelembak Village map as a guide for local people and foreign tourist.
