Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation technologies has reshaped the landscape of financial auditing, introducing both opportunities and ethical challenges. Automated auditing systems enhance efficiency, accuracy, and fraud detection, yet they also raise concerns about auditor independence, accountability, and the erosion of human judgment. This study examines how automation affects ethical decision-making and professional skepticism among auditors in technology-driven environments. Drawing on qualitative and quantitative insights, it explores issues such as algorithmic bias, data integrity, confidentiality, and the shifting roles of auditors in overseeing machine-generated evidence. The findings reveal that while automation improves analytical precision, it simultaneously challenges traditional ethical frameworks by blurring responsibility between human professionals and automated systems. To maintain trust and credibility in the auditing profession, auditors must balance technological reliance with critical thinking, ethical vigilance, and continuous professional development.

Abstract

Leadership style plays a crucial role in shaping employee performance, particularly when mediated by the organizational culture that defines shared values, behaviors, and workplace norms. This study investigates how different leadership styles transformational, visionary, and participative affect employee performance through the mediating mechanism of organizational culture within modern management contexts. Using a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative survey analysis and qualitative interviews, data were collected from employees in education, service, and technology sectors to assess leadership effectiveness, cultural alignment, and performance outcomes. The findings indicate that transformational and visionary leadership styles foster a positive organizational culture characterized by collaboration, innovation, and trust, which significantly enhances employee engagement and productivity. Conversely, environments with weak or inconsistent cultural support show diminished leadership impact on performance. This study contributes to the understanding of how leaders can cultivate adaptive and value-driven cultures that sustain performance excellence and organizational sustainability.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has encouraged the banking sector to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based approaches for credit risk management. Traditional credit scoring methods often lack accuracy in identifying default risks, particularly for unbanked and underbanked groups, leading to higher Non-Performing Loan (NPL) rates. This research addresses the need for a more adaptive, accurate, and inclusive credit risk assessment system in the digital economy era. This research aims to develop and evaluate an AI-driven predictive analytics model for credit risk assessment by comparing the performance of machine learning algorithms, such as Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, and Deep Learning. The dataset comprises customer demographics (such as age and income), details of their banking relationship (including mortgage and securities account), and their response to the most recent personal loan campaign. The comparative analysis indicates that Random Forest substantially outperformed the other models, demonstrating superior accuracy (98.80%) alongside balanced precision (93.75%) and recall (93.75%), as well as the highest ROC-AUC (99.86%). These results highlight its robustness in both classification performance and discriminatory power. XGBoost and Deep Learning followed, showing competitive but lower predictive capabilities. In contrast, Logistic Regression exhibited clear limitations, yielding the lowest accuracy (90.40%) and precision (50%), despite achieving a relatively high recall (92.71%) and ROC-AUC (96.77%). This suggests that while Logistic Regression can identify positive cases, its overall reliability and precision are insufficient compared to advanced ensemble and deep learning methods.

Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates how hedonic motivation influences users’ intention to share social content on Instagram, focusing on the mediating role of enjoyment of sharing. Grounded in the Uses and Gratifications Theory and Flow Theory, the research proposes that intrinsic enjoyment acts as an emotional mechanism that transforms pleasure-driven motives into prosocial sharing behaviors. Data were collected through an online survey of 162 active Instagram users in Indonesia, aged between 18 and 35 years. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that hedonic motivation significantly enhances enjoyment of sharing and directly increases the intention to share social content. Enjoyment of sharing also exerts a strong positive effect on sharing intention and partially mediates the relationship between hedonic motivation and sharing behavior. These findings suggest that self-oriented enjoyment can foster socially valuable participation, indicating that doing good and feeling good can coexist in digital environments. The study contributes to the growing understanding of emotional pathways in social media engagement and offers practical insights for social marketers to design campaigns that are not only meaningful but also enjoyable to share.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the Know Your Employee (KYE) method on increasing employee loyalty at PT Bank KB Bukopin Main Branch Office (KCU) Kupang. The KYE method is a managerial approach that focuses on a deep understanding of employees’ characteristics, needs, and potential in order to create a harmonious and productive work environment. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive-verificative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to all 32 employees of PT Bank KB Bukopin KCU Kupang and analyzed using a simple linear regression technique. The results of the study show that the implementation of the KYE method has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. This means that the better the management applies the KYE method, the higher the level of employee loyalty to the company. These findings indicate that a personal approach to understanding employees can enhance emotional attachment, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The study recommends that management continue to optimize the implementation of the KYE method through open communication, transparent career development, and the strengthening of a culture of appreciation in the workplace.
