Abstract

As digital finance has grown quickly in the Society 5.0 environment, decentralized financial instruments have become much more popular. But current cross-border systems often have operational problems that keep millions of people who don't have bank accounts from being part of global financial networks. This study seeks to ascertain university students' perceptions of cryptocurrency as a mechanism to improve financial inclusion and governmental transparency. A structured survey was administered to 40 university students employing a quantitative descriptive research design to assess their attitudes towards blockchain-based financial frameworks. The study is theoretically founded on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), emphasizing Perceived Usefulness. The results show that people have a very positive view of cryptocurrency's role in future financial systems (Mean: 3.72) and how quickly and clearly it can process transactions. The literature talks about theoretical risks, but the results show that students mostly think about the systemic benefits and cost-effectiveness of digital assets. This research offers policymakers significant insights into the incorporation of cryptocurrencies to lower administrative expenses and enhance economic engagement. This research enhances the literature by highlighting the socio-governmental utility of cryptocurrencies, rather than considering them merely as speculative assets.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on subjective career success by examining the mediating role of career adaptability and career resilience. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consists of alumni of the Master of Management Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, with a sample of 64 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that emotional intelligence does not have a direct effect on subjective career success. However, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on career adaptability and career resilience. Furthermore, career adaptability and career resilience significantly influence subjective career success and mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and subjective career success. These findings suggest that subjective career success is not solely determined by emotional intelligence but also by an individual’s ability to adapt and remain resilient in a dynamic work environment.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital financial technology has significantly increased the participation of young investors, particularly Generation Z, in financial markets. However, investment decisions made by this generation are often influenced not only by rational financial analysis but also by psychological and behavioral factors. This study aims to examine behavioral finance factors that influence investment decisions among Generation Z investors. The study focuses on key behavioral aspects such as overconfidence bias, herding behavior, loss aversion, risk perception, and financial literacy, which are widely recognized as important determinants of individual investment behavior. This research employs a systematic literature review method to analyze relevant academic studies related to behavioral finance and investment decision-making. Data were collected from scholarly databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. The selected literature was analyzed to identify key themes, theoretical frameworks, and empirical findings regarding behavioral biases affecting investment decisions. The findings indicate that behavioral factors significantly influence the investment decisions of Generation Z investors. Overconfidence and herding behavior often lead investors to rely on personal judgment or market trends rather than objective analysis. In addition, loss aversion and risk perception affect how investors respond to potential gains and losses. Financial literacy is also found to play a crucial role in helping investors make more rational and informed investment decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital wallet transactions in corporate cash flow reporting using a literature review approach. The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) has transformed transaction mechanisms, with digital wallets emerging as a dominant payment method in modern business practices. However, this transformation presents challenges to traditional accounting frameworks, particularly in the recognition, classification, and reporting of cash flows. This research employs a qualitative method through a systematic literature review of relevant academic journals, professional reports, and accounting standards. The data are analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify key themes, including the characteristics of digital wallet transactions, classification issues, impacts on financial transparency, auditing challenges, and regulatory gaps. The findings indicate that digital wallet transactions differ significantly from conventional cash transactions due to their real-time processing, involvement of third-party intermediaries, and platform-based fund management. These characteristics create ambiguity in determining whether such transactions should be classified as cash, cash equivalents, or other financial assets. Additionally, while digital wallets enhance real-time financial monitoring and decision-making, they also introduce complexities in accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing processes. The study concludes that the increasing adoption of digital wallets necessitates the adaptation of accounting standards and practices. Clear and consistent regulatory guidance is required to ensure the transparency, reliability, and comparability of cash flow reporting. This research contributes to the literature by bridging the gap between fintech developments and financial reporting practices, offering insights for academics, practitioners, and regulators in addressing the challenges of digital financial transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based recruitment on employee performance and organizational fairness through a systematic literature review approach. The rapid development of AI technologies has transformed recruitment practices by enabling data-driven decision-making, improving efficiency, and reducing human bias. However, the implications of these technologies for organizational outcomes remain a subject of debate. This study synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed journals, books, and reputable academic sources published between 2010 and 2025. The analysis focuses on three main aspects: the effectiveness of AI-based recruitment, its influence on employee performance, and its impact on organizational fairness. The results indicate that AI-based recruitment enhances the accuracy and efficiency of hiring processes, leading to improved person–job fit and potential increases in employee performance. However, its impact on performance is indirect and influenced by broader organizational factors such as leadership and organizational culture. In terms of fairness, AI systems promote procedural consistency but raise concerns regarding algorithmic bias and lack of transparency. These challenges may affect employee trust and perceptions of organizational justice. Therefore, the study concludes that while AI-based recruitment offers significant benefits, its implementation must be accompanied by ethical governance, transparency, and integration with human-centered HR practices to ensure sustainable organizational outcomes.
