Abstract

The commitment of human resources in an organization is very important and influences the work relations. Organizational commitment cannot be separated from the term loyalty. Loyalty and commitment is a unity that has a confusing meaning. In simple terms, loyalty means how long employees work and obey the leadership's orders. This shows that maintaining commitment is an obligation for leaders. The commitment of human resources within the Bali BinaInsani Islamic Boarding School cannot be separated from the authority and power of the kiai as a leader. The kiai in the pesantren organization is the holder of full authority and power who can determine the path in maintaining the commitment of human resources of religious.

Abstract

The kiai of the Besuki Residency in the past, had local wisdom in carrying out social harmonization to achieve mutual happiness. One of them is through "Slamethan Assîr" which is carried out by the community so that they can grow and develop in their careers. This study aims to understand the meaning of achieving happiness and prosperity in life through "Slamethan Assîr" and its implementation in career development, from the perspective of self-concept theory of career development. This research uses the ethnographic method. The results of this study indicate that "Slamethan Assîr" means as a guide that a career must contain the value of worship, hoping for blessings for the family, and giving charity to maintain harmony with neighbors. Career development is a process of developing self-concept; self-quality and competence and paying attention to the environmental context. The standard of career success is to feel prosperous and happy with family, friends, or neighbors and must be in line with the pleasure of Allah. So they will avoid corrupt, fraudulent, and other heinous acts. This research is useful for the development of the psychology of entrepreneurship and career

Abstract

There are many institutions in East Java Such as Sharia Kopwan, Baitul Maal Wat Tanwiil (BMT) and also Bank Wakaf Mikro (BWM), but they have many problems including the moderation effect. It caused by many factors like Islamic product design, Islamic product business and Islamic Good Governance implementation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderation effect of BWM in East Java. This paper was conducted qualitatively with a multiple case studies approach in six cash waqf institution in East Java. It was conducted that the moderation in BWM had similarities correction in product design management of fund, using ijaroh. The Islamic product business were chosen to the productive poor around the Islamic Boarding School and should to academic mission. Last, to upgrade Islamic good governance, BWM ought to collect the waqf funds directly, exclude LAZNAS BSM UMAT.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the understanding of Islamic college students toward multiculturalism. Some of the problems studied are (1) the reasons for the importance of studying multiculturalism for students, (2) the forms of planting multiculturalism values based on Islamic religion for students of the Islamic Institute Tarbiyatut Tholabah (Tabah) Lamongan (3) the implications of multiculturalism on the understanding of IAI Tabah students about multiculturalism. This study uses qualitative data analysis methods. Multiculture already exists in Islamic teachings called Tasamuh. Tasamuh is a mubalaghah from samaha which means tolerance. Tasamuh is an open attitude that recognizes the diversity of ethnic groups, races, skin colors, languages, customs, cultures, languages, and religions. Multicultural education must include the concepts of diversity, respect, justice, tolerance, racism, prejudice, discrimination, and stereotypes. The results show that multiculturalism is important to be taught to students to realize Islamic moderation or Wasathiyah Islam. Activities are directed to support the multiculturalism of campus life. However, IAI Tabah students' understanding of multiculturalism is diverse.

Abstract

Islamic economics is the center of world attention with all interesting aspects, including sharia economics. Indonesia is a country with enormous potential in the development of an Islamic economy, especially in the halal tourism sector. Indonesia has qualified provisions to develop halal tourism from natural resources and human resources. Indonesia has very beautiful places and the largest Muslim majority in the world. This study aims to describe the reconstruction of ecotourism development through halal tourism and to determine the impact of applying the concept of halal tourism related to the potential of ecotourism for economic empowerment in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative which is literary research. The results show that halal tourism in Indonesia is one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy through its contribution to the country's foreign exchange. On the other hand, halal tourism will be able to be a conclusion of previous tourism problems, especially the destruction of nature due to excessive exploitation by humans themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the strategy and implementation of religious moderation in diversity in the era of society 5.0. This study uses a qualitative approach and data processing using a descriptive-analytical method. The results and discussion of this study indicate that there are several strategies used in implementing the concept of religious moderation in public universities that have diversity. This study concludes that religious moderation in diversity in public universities requires certain strategies in its implementation in the era of society 5.0 which is full of challenges. Important efforts in implementing religious moderation today are aimed at creating a generation that is moderate and not easily influenced by radical ideas, as well as strengthening tolerance among religious believers.

Abstract

Islamic law or fiqh is ineffective in responding to legal problems that are happening in society if the tools of the ijtihad or istinbāṭ al-aḥkām process are ignored. The rule “changes in law due to changes in times, places, and conditions” emphasizes the development of law. Therefore, the development of the istinbāṭ al-aḥkām methodology and reforms need to be carried out to be able to accommodate human problems as logical demands in the reality of life. This study examines the dynamics of making legal decisions by Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in responding to contemporary problems in Indonesia. With a qualitative approach and library research, researchers will examine various sources, both primary and secondary, contained in various decisions of the National Deliberation and NU General Conference, journals, books and other research results. The 1992 National Deliberation in Bandar Lampung was the basic foundation of the law-making system for NU, it was explained that the law-taking procedure was within the framework of being based on one of the four agreed schools of thought and prioritizing the Qauli school of thought. If it is not found either qauliy or ilhaq, then it is carried out according to the Manhajiy school of thought. The next generation of Ulama make explanations (syarah) in stages, at the 2015 Muktamar deciding on the istinbāṭ Jamā'iy Mechanism, the 2017 National Deliberation deciding on the Taqrīr and Ilhāq Jamā'i Mechanisms, and the 2021 National Conference deciding on the istinbāṭ Maqashidi Mechanism or istinbāṭ Istishlahi . From these dynamics, it is emphasized that NU has a moderate principle where the law continues to develop and strengthens that Islamic law is flexible, elastic and dynamic so that it is adaptive to space and time.

Abstract

Ulama adalah orang yang menguasai ilmu-ilmu agama. Keilmuan yang dimiliki oleh ulama ini bersambung secara runtut hingga kepada Rasulullah saw. ulama memiliki tanggung jawab besar dalam membina, membimbing dan mengarahkan umatnya agar tidak tersesat dari ajaran Islam. Ulama memiliki tanggung jawab dalam melestarikan ajaran-ajaran Islam dan budaya-budaya yang telah dikembangkan oleh para ulama sebelumnya, namun mereka tetap kritis terhadap ajaran dan budaya yang telah dikembangkan oleh para ulama sebelumnya. hal ini karena Para ulama memiliki peran dan tanggung jawab dalam menegakkan dakwa Islamiyah, mengkaji dan mengembangkan ajaran Islam diantaranya adalah mengembangkan sistem pendidikan baik secara formal seperti madrasah maupun non formal seperti pesantren bagi generasi umat Islam di masa akan datang. Diantara sekian banyak ulama yang sangat menjaga tradisi-tradisi yang dikembangkan oleh ulama-ulama terdahulu baik secara keilmuan maupun budaya-budaya lainnya adalah Gus Dur. Gus Dur sebagai mana diketahui memiliki tradisi keilmuan tidak hanya di pondok-pondok pesantren di Nusantara tetapi juga di Timur Tengah terutama di Al Azhar Kairo Mesir dan di Irak. Namun begitu Gus Dur tidak meninggalkan tradisi-tradisi dan budaya-budaya di Nusantara terutama tradisi pesantren yang berhaluan Ahlu As Sunnah Wa Al Jama’ah. Gus Dur sendiri memiliki kecenderungan kepada sufistik dan mistik dari kebudayaan tradisional.

Abstract

Mualaf is someone who converts religion and needs guidance and guidance about Islam in the role of kaffah. In the holistic aspect, Denpasar residents with a Hindu majority make limited space for movement and activities for Muslim citizens. During the pandemic, the existence of Mualaf community was seen in one of the Muallaf in Denpasar, namely GMI (Genta Mualaf Indonesia). Based on the process of activities carried out by GMI in Denpasar, it can be formulated in the focus of the research, namely, how are the dynamics of Mualaf in the process of assimilation in the Muslim minority environment? The aim of knowledge and explain the process of assimilation of Mualaf to Islam at GMI Denpasar. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive qualitative and interpretive research types. The data collection technique was purposive sampling, namely members of the Denpasar GMI community. Through this research, it is possible that it can provide references and contributions to communities and other areas during the pandemic. As an effort to embrace and foster Mualaf to remain in existence in live a new life through religious moderation.
