Abstract

Storybooks are an effective medium for strengthening literacy and can act as a learning resource to cultivate character. In storybooks, games and activities can also be developed to grow the skills of students. Learning that links Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in an integrated manner began to develop in various countries and began to be applied in Indonesia through a prototype curriculum. STEM learning is known to be effective in developing students' collaboration skills, thinking skills, and motor skills through project implementation. This article will discuss 1) the role of Islamic STEM Storybooks to strengthen student literacy, and 2) how to bring up the elements of the Pancasila Student Profile which consists of Belief in One God and Noble Morals, Global Diversity, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Independence, and Mutual Cooperation in Islamic STEM Activity Storybooks.

Abstract

Exporting Islamic moderation in Indonesia to the World is a big work that requires a mature strategy and readiness. Thus, the importing world can replicate Islamic moderation in Indonesia with the various formulations offered. Social fiqh can be bargained to formulate the strategy of exporting Islamic moderation. Social Fiqh ideas by Kiai Sahal Mahfudz have a strong concept and established epistemology and continue to prioritize moderation (wasathiyyah) which the study still adheres to authenticity (al-Ashlaah) and accommodates modernity (al-Hadathah). The proximity of Muslims in the Middle East to Islamic text is an opportunity for the development of social jurisprudence in an effort to export Islamic Moderation. This study aims to formulate a strategy for exporting religious moderation through the Social Fiqh Approach, the idea of ​​Kiai Sahal, with a grounded theory approach and is qualitative in the method. This study shows that there are four formulations to make Social Fiqh a bargaining power; first, Middle Eastern students are awarded scholarships to study social fiqh and its implementation in Indonesia at Parent Universities such as STAIMAFA and universities that focus on social fiqh studies. Second, methodological studies of social fiqh are enriched through translation into foreign languages, scientific studies, and international conferences as bargaining for Islamic moderation in Indonesia. Third, conducting multitrack diplomacy towards Middle Eastern countries that there is an Indonesian-style fiqh methodology whose implementation can be adapted to the socio-political conditions in the importing country. Fourth, the development of social jurisprudence into civilization fiqh through multidisciplinary studies, so that various phenomena can be analyzed.

Abstract

The existence of Islamic financial institutions in marketing the product in the information era influences society's enthusiasm to get the investment choice alternative. Economic impact pandemic virus Covid 19 gives the opportunity of product Islamic capital market institute expand as one of the source acceptance of fund of society. This research aims to know the role of the Islamic capital market institute in improving the investment climate in the Indonesian Islamic finance industry. This Descriptive qualitative research was written pursuant to study literacy from various books and research journals related to Islamic economics and investment. Of inferential elite result that the Islamic capital market institute has a role in improving the investment climate at Indonesian Islamic finance in the form of amenity and choice alternative of the investment yield the rate of return mount. Observation of activity of institute financial technology by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan and BAPEPAM needed in observing the Islamic financial institution operational to guarantee the society fund security story; level inculcated at investment Islamic capital market institute products.

Abstract

The discourse of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah (Aswaja) in the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) tradition has developed in a paradigmatic framework as the manhaj al-fikr (the method of thinking) to answer the challenges of heterogeneity in the Indonesian nation. This paper is a literature review using a descriptive-deductive approach in answering questions about how the Aswaja concept is a paradigmatic proposition in the midst of the plurality in the Indonesian nation and how significant it is in enriching the insight of multiculturalism in Islamic education. In this case, Aswaja as the manhaj al-fikr is a continuation of the madzhab diniyyah system (religious school) which stems from five main foundations, i.e. tawassut (moderate), tasammuh (tolerant), tawazun (balanced), ‘adalah (justice), and amar ma’ruf nahi munkar (encouraging good deeds and preventing evil deeds). In addition, Aswaja as the manhaj al-fikr contributes to multicultural Islamic education by providing a paradigmatic scheme as a weltanschauung or worldview in seeing and responding to all the diversity that exists in Indonesia. That is, performing Aswaja in a manhajiy manner means an ability to; 1) manage conflicts proportionally, 2) live side by side peacefully in the midst of differences, 3) seek improvement towards a better direction (al-ishlah ila ma huwa al-ashlah), 4) contextualize in responding to various problems, and 5) think methodologically. Thus, the Aswaja paradigm as the manhaj al-fikr has significance in enriching the concept of Islamic education with a multicultural perspective in the internalization aspect of religious moderating and strengthening national integration.

Abstract

One of the biggest challenges in maintaining the cleanliness of the cottage is the effectiveness of managing the cottage waste from upstream to downstream. This is important because the number of students who continue to grow also results in the amount of waste being produced. Environmental issues that often arise are related to environmental pollution or pollution, air pollution, air which takes a very long time to return to normal. Not only because of vehicle fumes but the lack of public awareness in caring for and protecting the environment, such as the use of environmentally friendly plastic. With the Qur'anic commandment to preserve the earth and not destroy it, pesantren institutions have the responsibility to understand the various effects of the existence of a pesantren complex and its students. The identity of Islamic boarding schools has been synonymous with simplicity as the main capital for environmentally friendly implementation. This is where the response of the santri and the attention of the pesantren in responding to various developments that occur with the environment.

Abstract

Amid the issue of Indonesian religious extremism, the role of women in strengthening literacy and religious moderation in the family is a serious concern. Preventing cases of radicalism can start from the closest point, namely the family. This is important to study because the role of women in the family is not only as mothers, but women can carry out their multi-role as individuals, wives, mothers, and community mobilizers in the implementation of religious moderation. Through parenting applied by mothers to children, they can integrate the values of justice and togetherness so children learn to respond to differences wisely. The role of mothers and women amid the Covid-19 pandemic is completing domestic work and indirectly acting as teachers for children. In this situation, mothers must be wise and need to supervise their children using technology, which is the main door for children to receive information. This study examines the role of women in the family as movers of religious moderation in Indonesia. The research method used is library research, which will focus on the literature, while the analysis used is descriptive-analytical. The result of this research is that women as mothers can instill values of religious moderation through child-rearing, women as wives can work together with their husbands in fostering a household ark that integrates the value of religious moderation in educating children as a mother, and the nuclear family. While women as a society have the potential to maintain and maintain inter-religious harmony, this potential is underutilized.

Abstract

Pesantren memiliki tradisi dan resiliensi moderasi Islam dari infiltrasi ideologi radikalisme agama. Tradisi moderasi itu bersumber dari pengajaran agama yang inklusif, serta kharisma dan keluasan ilmu agama dari figur kiai. Berbagai tradisi moderasi tersebut sekaligus menjadi strategi resiliensi, ditambah dengan komitmen pesantren terhadap kedaulatan negara. Secara lebih terperinci, artikel ini membahas bentuk ketahanan Pesantren Karangasem Muhammadiyah Lamongan dari ideologi ekstremisme kekerasan agama. Artikel ini mengajukan dua pertanyaan, yaitu bagaimana bentuk ketahanan Pesantren Karangasem dari ideologi ekstremisme agama dan bagaimana bentuk ketahanan tersebut dapat berimplikasi mencegah masuknya aktor-aktor Islam radikal dalam aktifitas sosial-keagamaan pesantren dan warga sekitar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan, Pesantren Karangasem merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berkontribusi dalam mendesiminasikan moderasi beragama melalui bentuk-bentuk resiliensi yang bersumber dari karisma kiai dan tradisi intelektual Islam pesantren. Kajian ini juga menegaskan, meski infiltrasi gerakan terorisme dan radikalisme agama masif terjadi, namun praktik kosmopolitanisme Islam yang menjadi watak kehidupan beragama masyarakat pesisir Lamongan senantiasa tetap terjaga.

Abstract

The challenge in the life of religious people today is the extremism movement. Extremism is part of the form of a transnational movement that can have two pole dimensions, the left pole (secularism) and the right pole (textual-radicalism). In responding to this challenge, the religious moderation movement needs to be realized as a counter in dealing with it. This article explains the importance of mainstreaming religious moderation through aswaja an-nahdliyah education in schools in Indonesia. Through reading for text on relevant documents and content analysis, this article produces three substantive ideas. First, the mainstreaming of religious moderation needs to be realized in various fields and levels in every element of life, especially in educational institutions. Second, aswaja an-nahdliyah education (tawazun, tasamuh, tawasuth) contains teachings that are relevant to the substance of the policy and practice of religious moderation. Third, mainstreaming religious moderation can be realized through the practice of aswaja an-nahdliyah education in schools in Indonesia. Therefore, in order to equip the nation's children with the understanding and behavior of religious moderation, and prevent extremism movements, aswaja an-nahdliyah education needs to be made into the curriculum in every school in Indonesia.

Abstract

Families must be able to guard their children so that they stay on a moderate path in Islam, as parents who have the first and foremost role in the family. Parents are able to produce children to become experts in various fields, but if their children's understanding, especially actions, when they grow up, they will have excessive religious understanding, their religious ways are deviant, and often disturb many people, then all the skills and abilities they have owned by our children would be meaningless.Children in their family environment must always be strengthened and instilled from an early age the character of Islamic moderation, so that when the child is an adult, when the child is separated from his parents, for example in the school environment, the child already has a foundation. strong and difficult to be influenced by things that are radically charged and exaggerated. Several bombing cases that occurred in Indonesia, after being investigated, it turned out that the perpetrators were Muslim. This incident greatly tarnished Islam as a religion of peace, as a religion that is Rahmatal lil alamin. There is nothing wrong with the teachings of Islam. However, to this day, the way to understand Islam for each individual must always be maintained. Religious moderation is present and has the aim of maintaining religious harmony.

Abstract

Indonesia is called a plural country because it consists of various ethnic groups, races, religions, cultures and languages. Thus, the Indonesian people are prone to conflict, especially those related to religious differences. This phenomenon often occurs among teenagers, especially at Tapal Kuda area. The factors that underlie this are the existence of personal interests, the influx of radicalism, economic business, lack of tolerance, increasing politics, fading of local wisdom, excessive sensitivity, miscommunication, and lack of tabayyun attitude. Therefore, this study presents the concept of religious moderation in order to stem this. This study aims to stem the conflict with the concept of religious moderation through a linguistic approach and local wisdom. This research is a qualitative research with observation and interview methods. The data were obtained from interviews with the Tapal Kuda speakers by voice recording and field note-taking. In addition, the researchers also used reflective-introspective methods. The results of this study indicate that (1) The underlying factors are the existence of personal interests, the entry of radicalism, economic business, lack of tolerance, increasing politics, fading of local wisdom, excessive sensitivity, miscommunication, and lack of tabayyun attitude. (2) the concept of religious moderation with a linguistic approach and local wisdom as an alternative solution in stemming conflicts.
