Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the MBKM work program on students' work readiness at Padjadjaran University and it is hoped that this MBKM program will have a good influence on students who take part in the program, as well as being the first step to prepare students to face the real world of work. One of the programs carried out by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) of the Republic of Indonesia is Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), which is the latest innovation launched to transform the education system in Indonesia. MBKM aims to produce better and more relevant graduates so that they can increase knowledge, train skills and develop professional attitudes in students. The method used in carrying out this research was by filling out a questionnaire via Google form, then the data obtained was analyzed using a statistical approach. The statistical analysis used is instrument tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression tests. The results obtained in this research are that 98% of students who are still actively studying are members of the MBKM program, with the largest percentage being students majoring in biology. It was proven in this research that the MBKM program has a great influence on students' readiness to enter the world of work.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Student Creativity Program (PKM) activities on student work readiness at Padjadjaran University. Various programs have been created by the government to train students to develop skills in the world of work. One of the programs created to develop these skills is PKM activities. Padjadjaran University is one of the campuses that plays an active role in PKM activities. This activity was attended by various students to achieve a level of enlightenment in creativity and innovation based on mastery of science and technology. The research method used was by distributing questionnaires related to understanding the world of work. The data collection technique uses a survey method using a questionnaire given online via Google Form. The results of this research show that all students who have taken part in the PKM program have a good influence in facing the world of work. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that there is an influence of the PKM program which has been held at Padjadjaran University on readiness for the world of work.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of profitability, asset growth, and liquidity on the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The usefulness of this research for companies is expected to serve as a consideration for decision-making and to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the company in improving financial conditions during decision-making. The financial data examined spans from 2020 to 2022. The research method employed purposive sampling for sample selection, and the data analysis technique used in this research includes descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the significance value for profitability is 0.001 (which is less than 0.05), and the t-value is 3.558 (which is greater than the t-table value of 2.042). This means that H1 is accepted, indicating that profitability has a significant influence on the capital structure. The significance value for asset growth is 0.322 (which is greater than 0.05), and the t-value is 1.008 (which is less than the t-table value of 2.042). This means that H2 is rejected, indicating that asset growth does not have a significant influence on the capital structure. The significance value for liquidity is 0.000 (which is less than 0.05), and the t-value is -5.175 (which is greater than the t-table value of 1.697). This means that H3 is accepted, indicating that liquidity has a significant influence on the capital structure. The overall significance value is 0.000, which is less than the p-value of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), and the F-value is 17.000, which is greater than the F-table value of 2.93. This means that H4 is accepted, indicating that the independent variables, namely profitability, asset growth, and liquidity, have a significant influence on the capital structure.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the liquidity ratio in measuring the company's ability to meet obligations in trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The usefulness of the research results is expected to contribute to the understanding of solving issues related to the analysis of factors affecting customer loyalty and can be used as a consideration for the companies studied in taking corrective steps for the future. It can also be used as an evaluation material in determining future company strategies. Financial ratio analysis is a part of business or risk prospect analysis for decision-making purposes by evaluating the business environment, strategy, and the company's financial position and performance. The financial statement analyses commonly used by companies include liquidity analysis, solvency analysis, and profitability analysis. Liquidity analysis provides insights into a company's ability to match short-term liabilities maturing with current assets. The liquidity ratio owned by the company can be used as an evaluation material and for the effectiveness of company management. Based on these issues, the author conducted research on "Liquidity Ratio Analysis in Meeting Obligations in Trading Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange" using annual financial reports for the period 2020-2022. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis by collecting data, classifying data, explaining, and analyzing to provide clear information and insights into the issues being researched. The results of the study show the liquidity ratio in measuring the ability of short-term debt of trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020-2022, including PT. Bintang Oto Global Tbk, PT. Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk, PT. Wicaksana Overseas International Tbk, PT. Modern International Tbk, and PT. Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk. Viewed from the current ratio of 42.22% < 75%, it is categorized as unhealthy, meaning the hypothesis taken is that the company is unable to meet short-term debt obligations with the liquidity ratio. The quick ratio of 286.69% and the cash ratio of 181.31% > 150% are categorized as very healthy, thus the hypothesis taken is that the company is able to meet short-term debt obligations with the liquidity ratio.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the impact of debt policy and dividend policy on the value of manufacturing companies in the automotive sector. The sampling method used is Purposive Sampling. The data analysis techniques employed are descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the multiple linear regression equation show a constant value of -2.552, which means that the average company value decreases by 2.552 when there is no increase in Debt Policy and Dividend Policy. The regression coefficient for Debt Policy is 0.540, which means that when the Debt Policy increases by 1%, the company value will increase by 0.540, assuming the dividend policy remains constant. The regression coefficient for Dividend Policy is 0.023, which means that when the Dividend Policy increases by 1%, the company value will increase by 0.023, assuming the debt policy remains constant.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the Profitability Ratios in measuring the Financial Performance of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. The method used is quantitative analysis in the form of Financial Statements. The technique employed is descriptive analysis using financial ratios. The results of this research indicate that, based on the average profitability ratios from 2019-2023, the company is capable of measuring profit growth with the profitability ratio of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, in terms of Return on Assets (ROA), whereas Return on Equity (ROE) is still considered very low or has not yet met the industry ratio standards. The average ROA ratio is 7.84%, while the industry standard value is less than 20%, and the average ROE ratio is 14.21%, but it has not met the industry standard value of less than 25%. However, the Gross Profit Margin (GPM) exceeds the profitability industry ratio standards, as the GPM has an average ratio of 34.58%, with the industry standard ratio value being more than 30%. This indicates that the company has not yet been able to manage its finances effectively in terms of ROA and ROE, but it has managed its finances effectively in terms of GPM, meeting the operational standards.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which work engagement can contribute to the relationship between emotional intelligence and coworker support and job satisfaction. The manufacturing sector in Malang City is developing rapidly and the number of employees is increasing. Every year, companies are increasingly responsible for creating job satisfaction for each of their employees. This research uses quantitative research methods. The study sample in this research was 100 workers in the Malang City manufacturing sector. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed to employees in the manufacturing sector in Malang City. The data is processed or processed using smartPLS software 4. From the results of this research it can be concluded that (1) Emotional Intelligence has a significant influence on job satisfaction (2) Coworker Support has a significant influence on job satisfaction (3) Work Engagement can mediate the influence of Emotional Intelligence on job satisfaction (4) Work Engagement cannot mediate the effect of coworker support on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the presence of achievement motivation in the Settlement Khazsanah section of the Public Money Printing Company of the Republic of Indonesia (PERURI), as well as the performance of employees in this section. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The study was conducted with 30 Settlement Khazsanah employees. Data was collected using questionnaires.The results of the research indicate that there is a significant influence of achievement motivation on employee performance in the Settlement Khazsanah section at PERURI. This is evidenced by the calculated t-value (7.363) being greater than the t-table value (2.042), leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Additionally, an r-value of 0.812 was obtained, indicating a very strong positive relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. Achievement motivation contributes 65.9% to employee performance in the Settlement Khazsanah section at PERURI, with the remaining 34.1% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the recruitment and employee selection process in improving company performance, with PT Haramai Jaya Nusantara as a case study. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the recruitment and selection process at PT Haramai Jaya Nusantara has not been fully effective in improving the company's performance. This is due to several factors, such as: Selection criteria that are not clear and measurable; Inadequate selection methods; Lack of training for interviewers; and an onboarding process that is not optimal. This study recommends several steps to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process of employees at PT Haramai Jaya Nusantara, including: Defining clear and measurable selection criteria; Using more appropriate selection methods, such as ability tests and personality tests; Providing training for interviewers; and improve the onboarding process to help new hires adapt to the company. It is hoped that by implementing these recommendations, PT Haramai Jaya Nusantara can increase the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process of employees in the future so that it can produce qualified and outstanding employees to be able to improve the company's performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence the factors of work experience, education and compensation on the performance of the Ad hoc Agency in Bawaslu Demak Regency, with the target being the Ad hoc committee at the sub-district level and the village/sub-district level in Demak Regency with a total of 294 people. This research uses a collaborative or combined method, which is combining qualitative methods with quantitative methods with the aim of obtaining more valid answers that will be able to explain the research problem.. From the results of the test, it can be concluded that all the variables studied have a positive effect on the performance of the Ad Hoc Body. There are several important notes that need to be paid attention to by the Demak Regency Bawaslu, that the lowest indicator states that actually the Ad hoc committee is of the opinion that the honorarium they receive needs to be increased. Then there is an indicator that has the greatest value, namely that all Ad hoc committees are of the opinion that training/technical guidance must be carried out frequently by the Demak Regency Bawaslu.
