Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance and employee well-being on employee job satisfaction at PT. Herlinah Cipta Pratama (Dodol Picnic) Garut. The study uses a quantitative design that is descriptive in nature to illustrate the data empirically, and associative to assess the statistical connections between variables. Data collection was carried out through the division of questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale involving 100 respondents determined through a purposive sampling approach, with the consideration that they met the characteristics that suit the needs of the study. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The observation results show that work-life balance and employee well-being have a positive and significant impact on employee job satisfaction. Employee well-being makes a slightly greater contribution than work-life balance to shaping employee job satisfaction. These results suggest that companies that support work-life balance and employee well-being generally experience higher levels of job satisfaction and motivation among their employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a public service innovation known as Cetak Pengajuan Teko Deso (Cak Ngateso) in Sumobito Village, Jombang Regency. The innovation is a strategy by the Jombang Civil Registration Office to bring population administration services closer to village-level communities. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, guided by George C. Edwards III’s policy implementation theory, which includes communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Cak Ngateso program in Sumobito Village is generally well-executed. Communication among stakeholders is effective through both formal forums and digital media. Human resources and supporting infrastructure are relatively adequate, though technical challenges such as server outages and unstable internet connections persist. The village government's disposition toward the program is highly positive, demonstrated through active commitment and involvement. The bureaucratic structure is systematically organized, with clear division of responsibilities between the Civil Registration Office and village officials. This study concludes that Cak Ngateso holds strong potential to enhance the quality and accessibility of village-based public services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Policy Implementation and to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factor that affect the Implementation of Waste Handling Policies in Panca Rijang District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population in this study was the total population in Panca Rijang District which amounted to 34.433 residents and the sample in this study was 100 respondents determined by using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The data analysis technique is with the help of the IBM SPSS statistics 25 application. The results of this study indicate the results of the recapitulation of the policy implementation variables with a percentage of 75% in the good category and recapitulation of the waste handling variables with a percentage of 70,64% in the good category. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for policy implementation on waste handling with a percentage of 72.7% are in the good category. Policy implementation affects waste handling, because the sifnificant value of 0.000 < 0,05, the Ho is rejected, so Ha is accepted. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors affect the implementation of waste handling policies, because the significant value of 0.000 < 0,05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of servant leadership, human capital management, and human resource development on the performance of members at the Lebong Police Department. The research employed a quantitative method with a population of 206 members, while the sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 108 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, with primary data serving as the main source. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, including regression coefficient test, t-test, and F-test. The results showed that the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 81.4%, indicating that variations in members’ performance can be explained by servant leadership, human capital management, and human resource development. The F-test revealed that the regression model was significant simultaneously. The t-test results indicated that servant leadership had a negative and significant effect on performance, while HCM and human resource development had a positive and significant effect on members’ performance. The conclusion of this study is that human capital management and human resource development are the key factors in improving members’ performance, whereas servant leadership exerts a negative effect on the performance of members at the Lebong Police Department

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and compare the influence of brand equity and e-WOM on the purchase intention of local Indonesian apparel. The transformation of community shopping habits from offline to online has triggered a significant surge in the e-commerce market, which is influenced by the ability of apparel brands to utilize digital marketing strategies and the high digital adoption among consumers. The fierce business competition in the digital era demands that companies understand consumer purchase intention to avoid losing market opportunities. Through this understanding, apparel companies need to comprehend the factors that shape purchase intention. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect primary data. Model testing was conducted using the PLS-SEM method. The results show that both brand equity and e-WOM influence on forming purchase intention. Brand equity has a greater influence on purchase intention compared to e-WOM, but the difference in influence between the two is not too far, indicating that e-WOM also plays a very important role. Therefore, marketing strategies combining the strengths of brand equity and e-WOM will be an effective combination in building purchase interest for local Indonesian apparel products.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the current performance measurement model, design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach, and develop a comprehensive performance measurement model for the Human Capital Division and the Accounting & Finance Division of RS UNPAD. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that: (1) the current performance measurement at RS UNPAD is still simple, manual, and lacks a standardized KPI structure; (2) the proposed KPIs are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives and the job descriptions of each position; and (3) the proposed performance measurement model for the Human Capital and Accounting & Finance Divisions consists of an individual KPI evaluation system developed through a cascading process from the organizational level down to staff level. The indicators are based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework and job descriptions, and are periodically evaluated by the Human Capital Team through a series of stages that serve as the foundation for managerial decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to identify opportunities and challenges in implementing a Quadruple Helix-based circular economy in Gorontalo City and to design effective and inclusive policies to support sustainable waste management. The research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, through primary data collection via in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that waste management in Gorontalo City still faces challenges such as a lack of public awareness and improper waste disposal, insufficient budget and operational personnel for waste collection, and a digital system and TPS3R management that are not yet optimal. While the circular economy model has been regulated through waste management policies, it is not yet holistic. The implementation of the circular economy in waste management by the Gorontalo City government is carried out through the provision of waste banks, with 10 waste banks established in 2016 and 106 waste banks in 2019. The circular economy implementation model in waste management based on the quadruple helix approach in Gorontalo City is already in place, utilizing a collaborative approach involving the city government, businesses, the community, and universities. This quadruple helix approach leverages the resources of all parties to maximize waste reduction and management in urban areas, thereby impacting environmental quality, public health, and community income. Therefore, a strong commitment from the Gorontalo city government is required, marked by the existence of regulations or local ordinances on environmental management, the provision of support for waste management activities, and the implementation of waste collection, transportation, disposal, and processing services in Gorontalo City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work life balance, emotional intelligence through OCB on generation Z performance with a case study of banking employees in the Lumajang area, East Java. This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely generation Z who work in banking in Lumajang, through a sampling method, namely purposive sampling and there are 45 respondents. The analysis method in this study uses path analysis with the results of work life balance and emotional intelligence affecting OCB, work life balance and emotional intelligence affecting employee performance, emotional intelligence affecting employee performance, OCB affecting employee performance, and work life balance and emotional intelligence affecting employee performance through OCB.
