Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style on employee competence and employee performance, the effect of work motivation on employee competence and employee performance, and employee competence to determine the effect on the employee performance in the Deputy of Administrative Reform, Ministry of Secretary State. The research methodology used was survey method with Path Analisys with Amos SPSS version 22. The research showed that leadership style has no effect either directly or indirectly on employee competence and employee performance. Motivation influential work either directly or indirectly to the employee competence and employee performance. Employee competence direct influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Technological advances in the industry make companies use a variety of tools and machines to facilitate the work, but in practice the interaction between humans and machines often lead to accidents. The working environment is safe and comfortable is required by workers to increase productivity and achieve its goals. The purpose of this study is to identify and explain the effect of Climate Organization (X1), Job Stress (X2) and work motivation (Z) of the Implementation of the Health and Safety Executive (Y). Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) to describe the relationship between latent variables with the indicators and to describe the relationship between latent variables. After testing and data analysis of the obtained conclusions on the direct effects between variables as follows: X1 significantly affect Y of 3.61%; X2 significantly affect Y of 5.29%; X1 significantly influence Z of 20.25%; X2 significantly influence Z of 6.25%; and Z significantly influence Y by 67.24%. As for the indirect effect obtained the following conclusions: X1 significantly affect Y through Z of 13.69%; and X2 significantly influence Y by Z at 4%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of CSR is actually carried out by PT. Incasi Raya Pangian the relevant stakeholders as a form of social responsibility. The CSR program has been ongoing since the first until now and has provided many benefits to the local community. Based on the problems studied in this research is how the implementation of CSR and the perceived benefits of the program in the public. The study was conducted through qualitative descriptive approach. Data collected on natural conditions, primary and secondary data sources, and data collection techniques used include interviews, documentation, observation, surveys and literature. Results from this study showed that implementation of CSR in the environment surrounding the company provides excellent benefits for the company and surrounding communities. Implementation of CSR carried out in the public has been going pretty well. Surrounding communities are satisfied for what he has given the company, but there are some things that still need improvement in planning and implementation. Positive perception of the CSR programs of social and environmental areas of the company, which is evidenced by the great expectations of the company's CSR programs to be better and wider benefits for the future.

Abstract

Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO) of the banana corm and mycorrhiza, each has a potential to increase the availability and the absorption of the nutrient by plant and also increasing the plant growth, as pre-nursery of palm oil. The aim of this study is to analyze the character of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedling growth by applying the combination of the mycorrhiza and the liquid of banana corm (IMO) organic fertilizer to the plant media which contained subsoil and cow dung. The study was performed in four of treatments including the control and were arranged in completely randomized design (CRD). The treatment dose of liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhiza applied at a single dose. The whole treatments were P0 = 100% subsoil; P1 = subsoil and cow dung (1:1); P2 = subsoil and cow dung (1:1) + dose 100% inorganic fertilizers; P3 = subsoil and cow dung (1:1) + organic fertilizer 40 ml/polybag + Mycorrhiza 10 g/polybag. The chemical properties of the media was analyzed prior to the trial and the result showed mean amount of 2.81% C, 0.27% N, 1.12 mg/Kg P, 6.77 cmol/Kg K, 2.03 cmol/Kg Mg, and 18.24 cmol/Kg CEC. Plant height, plant diameter, leaf number and leaf area was the highest in plant treated with inorganic fertilizer. The leaf greeness and the density of stomata in plant treated with liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhiza was slightly higher than control but lower than inorganic fertilizer treatment. Futher study are needed to determine optimal rates of applying combination of liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhiza for proper growth of oil palm seedlings.

Abstract

Academic Information System at the Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi still uses desktop systems. By applying that system, all college students get all administrative services easily and it doesn’t take long time. That is not the only problem solving of student administration, because students expect not only the speed but also the satisfaction in their use. In the globalization era, we hope that schools, universities, and polythenics use On-Line administration to meet the students demand. It is not enough if we only fulfill the users demand, that’s why writer tries to do research on application performance both in terms of hardware and software using PIECES method, while for satisfaction writer tries to use EUCS method. It was done at the Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi with respondents consist of all students, lecturers and staffs. From the result of the satisfaction of the respondents , we hope that we can improve and develope the software, and it will become more user friendly (easy to use).

Abstract

Boiler is the main equipment in the mills. Boiler performance in generating steam greatly affect the performance of other work stations. Variability of performance variability Boiler major impact on the achievement of each work station. Steam pressure fluctuates, causing unstable processing quality. Some boiler using the system continues feeding, which will feed the fuel into the combustion chamber continuously even though the pressure has reached the set point, resulting in wasted fuel and water. Based on the data obtained, the system will generate steam boiler pressure fluctuating and less stable. Integration Fuel Combustion Air Flow Control and Flow Control is used to adjust the feed rate of fuel and air into the combustion chamber. Combustion effectiveness is emphasized in this integration, so that one of the parameters that can be seen visually is a perfect combustion conditions different smoke by burning less than perfect. Set Point which is a reference steam capacity is determined in this study amounted to 18.3 tons of steam / hour for a plant with a capacity of 30 tons / hour, by setting the Fuel Flow Control at 69% and Combustion Air Flow Control by 70%. Achievement vapor pressure generated by the integration of feeding fuel and air feed into the combustion chamber, resulting in vapor pressure are relatively stable at 20 bar in boilers and turbines, as well as the pressure of 3.2 bar in BPV.

Abstract

Perceived Quality, Brand Awareness, Brand Loyalty to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Value through Brand Equity. The research was conducted through the methods of structural equation model (SEM) using LISREL program version 8.8. The number of respondents who researched many as 124 respondents in Jakarta through Yamaha motorsport V-ixion community by filling a questionnaire that has been provided. The research was conducted through a causal relationship between exogenous variables on endogenous variables. Result of the research are: a) Effect of the Perceived Quality, Brand Awareness, Brand Loyalty to Brand Equity shows the t-value of more than 2.05; b) Effect of the Brand Equity to Customer Satisfaction shows the t-value of 5.27; c) Effect of the Brand Equity to Customer Value shows the t-value of 3.46; and d) The effect Customer Satisfaction to Customer Value shows the t-value of 3,59. The influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables showed a greater than T-table 1,96. Brand Equity has bigger effect to Customer Satisfaction than others. This shows a significant positive effect among Perceived Quality , Brand Awareness, Brand Loyalty to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Value through Brand Equity.

Abstract

Inventories have a very important role in supporting the operations of the oil palm plantation companies, such as fertilizers, chemicals, spare parts, fuel, and more. Often the difference found in the warehouse inventory. The difference may be more or less the difference between the physical goods with stock reports. The reasons for the difference between: a) Receipt of Goods and Proof of Goods not yet recorded; b) Loss of Goods Receipt and Proof of Goods; c) The expenditures that are not in accordance with procedures; and more. Difference impact on the supply of stock reports are inaccurate, and the effect on the operational service of the company. In this study the methods of analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Stages handling increment supplies can be done by: a) Improvement of short-term, minutes difference in goods, making receipt (to excess), making evidence of goods (for the shortage), inputting to program stock, recording to card warehouse, records to label goods, and others; and b) Long-term improvement through on the job training and off the job training.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efficacy of herbicides 2,4-Dimethyl amine and Glyphosate to control weeds which is banana (Musa sp) in Palm Oil Plantation. The method used is the implant method by a bamboo punctured with a size of ± 30 cm. Use of 2,4-Dimethyl amine consists of three variations of a treatment that is 20 cc/liter, 40 cc/liter and 60 cc/liter, while Glyphosate applied at 50 cc/50 liters with three methods, namely with implant, injection and slash, each treatment consisted of three samples and each treatment consisted of two replicates. The results showed that the application of 2,4-Dimethyl amine with a water concentration of 20 cc/liter has a better control of the weed banana compared with a water concentration of 40 cc/liter and 60 cc/liter. In applications using Glyphosate, the implant method has a best method to control when compared to injectable application.

Abstract

Bamboo is a dominant weed in palm oil plantations are generally controlled by pruning, but the type of control is less effective for weed regrowth of tall bamboo. Giving a systemic herbicide Glyphosate through the drilling process using a metal borer on a bamboo is a alternative weed control can be performed. Weed drilling method is effective in controlling weeds because the active ingredients will directly attack the carrier networks that exist on the stem of the weed. The experimental design used is non factorial completely randomized design with three replications. The treatments tested were giving various doses of Glyphosate, which is 10 ml, 20 ml, 30 ml, 40 ml and 50 ml. The results showed that the tool metal borer and herbicide Glyphosate can be an alternative weed control resilient bamboo in palm oil plantations. The use of metal borer and herbicide Glyphosate significantly affect physical changes weed stems and leaves of resilient bamboo. Glyphosate herbicide dose that is right for weed control resilient bamboo is 50 ml, but not significantly different with a dose of 40 ml.
