Abstract

Education financing is a crucial element in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of education management. It serves as an essential financial resource in determining the success and smooth implementation of education programs, while also being an integral part of education management. This study aims to analyze and describe the management of education financing at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Annida Al Islamy, Bekasi Timur, Kota Bekasi. The research addresses the issue of low education quality, partly caused by ineffective financial management strategies. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving the head of the madrasah, treasurer, and administrative staff as research subjects. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document studies. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity is ensured using triangulation of methods and sources. The findings reveal that budgeting, implementation, and financial evaluation processes at MTs Annida Al Islamy are well-executed and effective. The financial strategies implemented include scholarships for outstanding students, underprivileged students, orphans, and full scholarships for children of teachers. These findings affirm that effective financial management supports the sustainability of education programs and enhances accessibility for various community groups at the madrasah.

Abstract

Achieving the mission of educational institutions is a crucial factor in the progress of education in Indonesia. Researchers often encounter obstacles in mission achievement due to leadership deficiencies, poor human resource quality, and insufficient support from surrounding groups. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership and human resource quality on mission achievement, moderated by group cohesiveness. This study employs a quantitative method, with data collected via Google Form questionnaires, which were distributed through WhatsApp and analyzed using SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that transformational leadership and group cohesiveness have a significant effect on the effectiveness of mission achievement in educational institutions, whereas other variables showed no significant effect. The implications of this research suggest that to enhance mission achievement effectiveness, educational institutions must prioritize the development of transformational leadership character and build a solid and cohesive work climate. This implies that institutional success depends more on the leader's vision and team cohesion than merely on staff qualifications.

Abstract

Abstract. Education financing is a crucial aspect in the effort to achieve equity and improve the quality of education in Indonesia. In this modern era, Indonesian society is still facing difficulties in accessing education due to insufficient financial resources. This research seeks to find a suitable educational financing model to accelerate efforts to equalize education in Indonesia. This research is classified as descriptive qualitative with literature study as the data collection technique. The results of this study show that the government needs to take decisive action to address the educational gap in Indonesia caused by funding disparities. The combination of the Power Equalizing Model and the Flat Grant Model presents an innovative solution to address the educational gap between regions. This integrated approach combines the advantages of both models to create a more effective and equitable financing system. With proper implementation, this integrated model can become an effective effort in realizing quality and equitable education throughout Indonesia. However, it is important to understand that the success of this integrated model in supporting educational equity highly depends on the commitment and cooperation of all stakeholders. Abstract

This study examines holistic education management within three major educational institutions in Indonesia: schools, madrasahs, and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Holistic education is understood as an integrated approach that combines academic, emotional, social, and spiritual development to promote balanced learner growth. This literature review identifies four core strategies relevant to strengthening holistic management: School-Based Management (SBM) and stakeholder participation; the integration of character and spiritual education; Total Quality Management (TQM) supported by data-driven evaluation; and the development of human resources alongside constructive conflict resolution. Sources were collected through systematic searches of academic publications from the last decade, focusing on studies discussing holistic education, educational management, and Islamic educational institutions. The findings indicate that SBM enhances autonomy, community involvement, and institutional accountability; character-spiritual integration strengthens ethical formation; TQM ensures continuous quality improvement; and competent human resource management fosters a positive school climate and sustainable organizational performance. These integrated strategies demonstrate that holistic education management is essential for improving institutional responsiveness, educational quality, and learner well-being. The study concludes that applying a holistic management framework across schools, madrasahs, and pesantren can provide an adaptive, culturally grounded, and future-oriented model for educational development in Indonesia.

Observations are conducted to understand real financial management practices, while literature studies are used to support theoretical analysis. The stages of data collection are carried out through field visits, interviews with Islamic boarding school administrators, and documentation of financial reports and applicable internal regulations. The data collected are then analyzed qualitatively with a descriptive approach, namely comparing financial management theory with existing practices in Islamic boarding schools. The analysis focuses on the planning system, funding sources, budget allocation, accounting, reporting, supervision, and risk management. The results of the study indicate that financial management at the Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Sungai Pinang has been managed systematically through three main functions, namely fundraising, fund allocation, and asset management, with various diversified funding sources, including SPP, BOS funds, ZIS, alumni donations, and independent business results. The financial management system implemented includes planning, accounting, reporting, supervision, and risk management in a transparent, accountable manner, and in accordance with sharia principles, thus supporting operational continuity, improving the quality of education, and the social responsibility of the Islamic boarding school towards underprivileged students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) policy from the perspective of Islamic education management at State Senior High School 2 Trenggalek. The research focuses on four main aspects: planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the policy. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, in which data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model. The findings reveal that policy planning was carried out participatively through deliberation involving the principal, teachers, students, and the school committee. Policy implementation was reflected in participatory teaching methods, the creation of a more conducive school environment, and the provision of counseling services, although constrained by limited resources and teacher training. Policy supervision was conducted through formal mechanisms such as complaint boxes and counseling services, alongside informal forums involving students, reflecting a participatory monitoring pattern. Policy evaluation was conducted periodically and showed an increase in students’ awareness of anti-violence values, despite challenges such as teacher resistance to change and budget constraints. The study concludes that the implementation of the CFS policy at State Senior High School 2 Trenggalek can be harmonized with the principles of Islamic education management al-takhthith, al-tanfidz, al-muraqabah, and al-taqwim, which emphasize deliberation, trustworthiness, responsibility, justice, and continuous improvement.
