Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the implementation of the management of students' religious character education through spiritual extracurricular activities and religious habituation at SMK Palembang. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach with natural characteristics (natural setting) as a direct data source, descriptive, more concerned with the process than the results. Collecting data through observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques with inductive and deductive methods. The problems discussed include various implementations of religious character education management in Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities and religious habituation as well as the values ​​of students' religious character at SMK Palembang. The results showed that the implementation of religious character education management through Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities and students' religious habituation as well as character values ​​that developed at SMK Palembang has been running, this can be seen from several extracurricular activities of the Spirit in the form of symbols, talents (skills), public relations, regeneration, sports and the arts. Furthermore, there are religious habituation activities including moral guidance, giving donations, reading the Qur'an, praying in congregation, Ramadan boarding schools and zakat fitrah. The character values ​​that can be revealed through spiritual extracurricular activities and religious habituation are religious, curiosity, tolerance, respect for achievement, discipline, communicative, hard work, peace-loving, creative, fond of reading, independent, caring for the environment, democratic and responsible.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether this library has met the standards of library management and whether there are supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing library management standards in the school. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. While the sources of information in this research are the Head of the Library, the Principal and 3 Librarians. The results of this study indicate that; 1) Planning of work programs in library management at UPT SMK Negeri 14 Musi Banyuasin is carried out by 1) compiling a work program; 2) the organization of the library is carried out through coordination with the head of the library as the coordinator in forming the organizational structure and assisted by 3 staff on duty; 3) Implementation of work programs in library management as planned at the planning stage; 4) the library supervises every day, reports on its library activities within a period of 6 months. And evaluation is done at the end of each semester.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture launched a teacher motivation training program. The program is a leadership training program designed to make teachers a leader in learning. This study aims to analyze the motivating teacher program, analyze the strategy for improving teacher performance through the motivating teacher, analyze the factors affecting the strategy for improving teacher performance through the teacher program movers in Jakabaring District, Palembang City. This study uses a qualitative method. The research was conducted at SMPN 31 Palembang and SMAN South Sumatra. Informants in this study were prospective teachers, principals, and student representatives. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results of this study are first, the Motivating Teacher Program is a leadership training program for teachers to become leaders in learning that has an impact on students. The Motivator Program includes Online Training, Workshops, Conferences, and Mentoring for 9 months for prospective teacher educators. Second, the implementation strategy of the teacher driving program starts from planning to prepare modules, real action. After that, prepare the evaluation results by filling out a journal about the children's feelings in participating in the driving teacher program. The influencing factors are the supporting factors for the Motivating Teacher Program including the government, schools and the environment. While the inhibiting factors are student facilities, signals, online schools and internet access.

Abstract

The focus of this research is emphasized on the quality of education at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi, which is about the principal's efforts to improve the quality of education.There are several arguments that form the basis of this research, first, this school is included one of the leading Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Malang Regency. Second, although this school is relatively new compared to other schools in Gondanglegis sub-district is able to provide quality, quantity, even facilities exceed other schools in Gondanglegi.And third, this school has issuing high quality graduates (outputs) where these graduates are now widely scattered in several colleges. There is a limitation of the problem in this study so that the problem formulation is concluded which was taken by researchers to conduct this research, namely (1) How is the effort of the head schools in improving the quality of education at Muhammadiyah 07 Gondanglegi Vocational High School (SMK) Malang (2) How is the success of the principal in improve the quality of education in Muhammadiyah Vocational High School (SMK) 07 Gondanglegi Malang (3) How is the success of the principal in improving the quality of education in Muhammadiyah 07 Vocational School (SMK) Gondanglegi Malang. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely one a type of research that aims to describe and understand certain phenomena.Method data collection used is by means of documentation and interviews.The findings of this study are (1) the principal's efforts to improve the quality of education which is done in many ways.(2) obstacles faced by school principals as well solutions / policies in improving the quality of education (3) The success of the principal in improving the quality of education, in this case the researcher reveals the success this by describing the achievements and reputations that were obtained and held by the SMK Muhammadiyah 07 Gondanglegi during the last four years in the leadership of Bpk H. Abstract

This study aims to find out how SNP 12:2017 is implemented in the SMAN 6 Pandeglang Library. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows: first, SNP 12:2017 has seven standards, namely collection standards, infrastructure standards, service standards, library staff standards, implementation standards, management standards, and information technology standards. For librarians in the SMAN 6 Pandeglang library who have the academic competence of library education graduates, the SMAN 6 Pandeglang library only has one room for various library areas. There is a lack of administrators and librarians in the SMAN 6 Pandeglang library who have competence in the field of information technology. Third, the factors that support the implementation of SNP 12:2017 are complete facilities and infrastructure, sufficient time for service activities, and additions to collections carried out every year. Fourth, the process and level of achievement of SNP 12:2017 are not fully implemented and in accordance with SNP 12:2017. There are several aspects that have started to reach SNP 12:2017, including service aspects, implementation aspects, management aspects, and several other aspects. As well, there are several aspects that have not reached SNP 12:2017, including aspects of collection, aspects of information and communication technology, aspects of facilities and infrastructure, and several other aspects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for schools based on religious education / Integrated Islamic schools that are more modern. as well as the proliferation of Integrated Islamic schools make the competition for marketing of educational services more varied in order to attract the interest of the community. The type of research used by the author is qualitative research that is descriptive by using interview, observation and documentation techniques in conducting data analysis, strengthened by data validity test using triangulation technique. The results of this research show that (1) the role of stakeholders in SMP IT Al-Furqon Palembang is quite good, this is due to cooperation starting from the principal, educators and parents, (2) the form of marketing carried out at SMP IT Al-Furqon Palembang using two ways, namely: Undifferentiated Marketing (marketing approach of educational services without distinction / without differentiation) and Concentrated Marketing (concentrated education service marketing approach (3) as for the supporting factors of SMP IT Al-Furqon school is under the auspices of foundation institutions therefore for oprasional and financial problems more independent, has a clear market segment.Support and trust from the community and alumni become a supporting factor in the marketing of educational services, the inhibition factor is that the school does not have a special team in the marketing of educational services, the lack of evaluation of the results of marketing educational services for improvement in the coming year and the cost of education that belongs to the middle class makes not all students/i join the school

Abstract

This research is qualitative research. The subject of this research is the head of the Madrasah. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Using interactive data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. The data validity test used the source triangulation technique. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the role of the head of the madrasah in improving the work ethic of teachers is very good, namely acting as a formal official, as a manager, as a leader, as an educator, as an administrator, as a madrasah as a supervisor, as an innovator, as a motivator. In addition, there are supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors are (1) the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, (2) good teacher discipline, (3) the qualifications of teacher education that are relevant to the subject being managed, (4) communication between teachers and staff is maintained, while the inhibiting factors are (1) there are still teachers who continue to use the ancient learning model, (2) late disbursement of BOS funds as the main source of madrasah funding, (3) difficulty in the process of applying for teacher certification through the Education Information and Management System and Education Personnel of the Ministry of Religion"SIMPATIKA" application, (4) diverse teacher personnel, so difficult to understand one by one. Based on the role of the head of the madrasah, it shows that the work ethic of the teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Subulussalam 2 is very high. Thus it can be concluded that the leadership role of the principal is very important in improving the work ethic of teachers.

Abstract

This study aims not only to assist students in achieving or improving the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an, which they mastered while studying at the Aliyah madrasah, but also to prepare alumni who will be able to continue their studies abroad, knowledgeable but adhering to the "aqeedah ahlussunnah wal jama'ah." This study used the descriptive-qualitative method. The data collection technique uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. After the data is collected, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions are drawn. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation and reference materials The Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya Mujahadah and Nursery Program (MABIT) is a preparatory program for studies in the Middle East and Europe with various models or program classes. So that the Management of the MABIT Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya Program is a forum or institution for managing educational programs in Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya and is based on professional management, starting from program planning, program organization, program implementation, and program supervision.

Abstract

This article aims to describe efforts to improve the quality of education at one of the State MTs in Palembang through planning, implementation and the role of committees. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The informants used in this research were the committee chair as the key informant, while the school principal, deputy principal, teaching staff and stakeholders as supporting informants. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Then analyzed through reduction, data presentation and verification using triangulation techniques. The results of this research are committee planning in the form of program determination and budget design, implementation in line with the school's vision and mission, as well as the role of the school committee as a consideration, supporter, controller and mediator. The efforts made by the committee are planning programs, actualizing programs, accommodating aspirations and communicating various policies. The implications of this research are the creation of an attitude of tolerance and mutual support for the same goal, and it is necessary to optimize the role of the school committee in order to improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of the implementation of fostering students in the hostel reveals the characteristics of the coaches of students through a process of approach, education, and habituation that is applied in a series of activities both inside and outside the hostel. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach with natural characteristics as a direct data source. Data collection through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with inductive and deductive methods. The issues discussed include various characteristics of the implementation of coaching students in dormitories with various actuating, directing, leading, coordinating, and motivating elements. The results of this study indicate that Actuating characteristics have been applied properly and consistently with a good approach to fostering students in the dormitory. Characteristics of Directing by giving directions and providing various information related to what hostel activities will be carried out every day. Leading characteristics provide an example of a leader and the best role model for students in carrying out a series of activities for students in the dormitory. Coordinating Characteristics There is a good cooperative relationship or teamwork between Santri coaches, dormitory administrators, and OSPI administrators intensely in coordinating coaching in the dormitory to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. Motivating characteristics provide various motivations, and enthusiasm for learning and provide reasons why it must be implemented. This implementation has different characteristics such as the existence of an iqob system (educational punishment), role models, and a system of learning contracts, activity contracts, and contracts in the hostel. These efforts can provide solutions to foster properly according to the goals to be achieved.
