Abstract

This research aims to describe Indonesian border management in North Kalimantan Province, this include the previous border policies when the area was still included in East Kalimantan Province. Descriptions of previous policies to contemporary policies is meant to provide some kind of guidelines for stakeholders to formulate a better policy in the future. That means, among some descriptions there will be some analitical views regarding the policies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe and analyze of Implementation of the principle of good governance the public service in the Departement of Transportation, Communication and Informatics at West Kutai Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Analysis is an interactive model.The results showed Implementation of the principleof good gover-nancene the public service in departemnt of transportation communication and informatics West Kutai is generally quite effctive. However apllicative before by various abstacles so that not all the principles of good governance effective, that not all the principles of new gets implemented effectively.Keywords: implementation, good governance, public service

Abstract

Participatory rural development program is a fundamental concept that has been releasing at long time ago and still be relevant in the future. Citizen participation in development was increased, and it leads to social welfare. To empower a member of society, government has declared the National Program of Society Empowering, Rural Autonomy which was implemented since 2007. The study results indicate that the degree of citizen participation in the PNPM activities at Pepas Asa Village is relatively low. Therefore, absolutely it is required to improve of society participation by optimizing the awareness activity and effectively socialization; and give prioritiy to capacity building of apparatus and citizen, not only to infrastructure development.

Abstract

Human trafficking can be divided into three components related to: recruitment of people, ways of controlling people, and the purpose of exploitation. Ukraine is a country of origin and to a certain extent is a transit country for people who declare themselves in situations of slavery. Where in recent years Ukraine has become a destination country for victims of human trafficking, and also the case of human trafficking in the country of Ukraine is also increasingly widespread. IOM's mission in Ukraine is to continue to struggle in the face of the challenges of human trafficking, to assist the Government in improving the migration management system, and to create migrant health programs (inclusive and policy).Keywords: Human Trafficking, Ukraine, International Organization for Migration

Abstract

The result of research explains the influences among variables. Determinant coefisient number R2 = 0,431 explains that work capability (X1) and work motivation (X2) influence to the employee performance (Y) about 43,1%. From regression model, namely Y= 15.312 + 0,361.X1 + 0,325.X2, both independent variables shape a positive relations to dependent variable. Correlation coefisient zero order/ product moment explain that variable work motivation (X2) has a strong influence to work satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

The principles of good governance are characteristics that must be met in the implementation of good governance, which relates to the control of a government in order to achieve the results desired by stakeholders. Hence the research on the implementation of good governance, which is reviewed through the application of a number of principles of good governance in the regional government in the regional government becomes a means to assess the fulfillment of public needs by the government. This study compares the implementation of good governance in several sub-district governments in the city of Samarinda, which shows that the application of the principles of accountability, transparency and justice/equality still needs improvement so that it can be carried out better for meeting community expectations. Keywords: good governance, accountability, transparency, responsiveness.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the Police Personnel Development to Improve Community Services in Port Samarinda. Analysis of the data used is Flow models developed by Miles and Huberman, and Saldana. From the results of this study concluded that fostering police personnel conducted Polsekta Port of Samarinda managed to improve skills, the skills and expertise of personnel, and in addition to the creation of police personnel who have the ethos of work and changes in attitudes and behaviorel good and has a strong commitment to carry out his duties as a security activities , either in the port area as well as in the waters of the harbor.

Implementation analysis Secretariat office of Kutai Barat has run accordance with the qualifications especially in the job requirements and job descriptions. Although there is still position occupied by several officials who has appropriate qualifications or requirements such as level of education, skills, experience, and rank as a requirement in the position has yet to be implemented properly and correctly. There are other indications that causes of application of job analysis are reflected in the distribution of tasks or the work.
