Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' problem solving abilities through the application of PASTA to statistical material. Data collection was carried out using pre-test and post-test. In this research there are four indicators, namely understanding the problem, planning the problem, implementing the plan and checking again. The results of the research show that the application of PASTA learning media to statistics material is able to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities, this can be seen from the increase in test results from cycle I of 54% to cycle II of 93% after the application of PASTA learning media and the average of each indicator Mathematical problem solving abilities have reached completion and the results of learning mathematical problem solving abilities in cycle II can be seen from the number of students who completed the cycle II test, namely 26 students out of 28 students in class VII.

Abstract

The use of teaching aids in the learning process is a necessity in the world of education to improve students' mathematical understanding abilities. Students' abilities are the core of all knowledge transfer processes provided by teachers to students. Learning that is interesting and provides meaningful understanding can create a learning atmosphere and increase understanding abilities. The aim to be achieved in this research is to determine the increase in students' mathematical understanding abilities by applying mathematical teaching aids. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research or PTK. The results of the research were that there was an increase in mathematical understanding ability as seen in the results of the post test carried out in each cycle with complete details in cycle 1 amounting to 67.8% and in cycle 2 amounting to 89.2%

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar matematika yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi metode yang digunakan yakni masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya penggunaan alat peraga pembelajaran yang menarik. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut yaitu menerapkan alat peraga pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga “Papan Statistika” guna meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII di SMP Labschool FIP UMJ. Alat peraga “Papan Statistika” merupakan salah satu alat peraga matematika yang berfungsi untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep dasar statistika. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 28 siswa kelas VII SMP Labschool FIP UMJ. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis berupa soal uraian dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh selama melaksanakan PTK didapatkan hasil dengan kategori sangat baik, yaitu (1) Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 64 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 54%. (2) Pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 93%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan alat peraga “Papan Statistika” berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Labschool FIP UMJ.

Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning activities, especially in mathematics subjects, there are still many students who get low grades. This is because students feel bored with the monotonous models, methods and learning strategies in class. Apart from that, the lack of use of creative and innovative learning media makes student learning outcomes low. This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by implementing PASTA learning media. The type of research used is Class Action (PTK). This Classroom Action Research was conducted on 28 students in class VII-1 at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ. The instruments used in this research were observation, documentation and tests. The results of this action research show that implementing PASTA learning media can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen in cycle I, before using learning media, the average score for class VII-1 students was 65, but after action was taken in cycle II using PASTA learning media, the average score for students was 84. As well as an increase in learning outcomes. By implementing the PASTA learning media, the percentage of completeness can also be seen. The percentage of completion in cycle I was 54%, but in cycle II it increased to 93%. Both the percentage of learning completeness and the average student score in cycle II have met the specified criteria. Keywords: Instructional Media, Statistics board, Mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

Motivasi belajar peserta didik yang rendah mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik, untuk itu perlu adanya solusi dari permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan penggunaan alat peraga yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan motiivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga papan statistika pada materi statistika terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yaitu nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 65% dengan kategori sedang kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84% dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan hasil motivasi belajar pada siklus I sebesar 52% dengan kategori rendah, kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 86,8% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan penggunaan alat peraga papan statistika berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

At this time, motorized vehicles have become a primary need. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account revenues for motor vehicle taxes so that the government has a good motor vehicle tax calculation produce is one aspect of revenue management that is very helpful in achieving the goals set by the government. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate motor vehicle tax revenues correctly so that it can be seen how much revenue will be managed properly. The purpose of this research is to get the forecast value of motor vehicle tax revenue for the next year with a low MAPE. The method used is the Triple Exponential Smoothing method with a constant alpha = 0,3 and obtains a MAPE of less than 10 % which means it is very good. The results of this study there are several districts / cities that experienced a decrease in motor vehicle tax revanues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi statistika kelas VII SMP Labschool FIP UMJ, dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Pada hasil obeservasi yang dilakukan di kelas VII SMP Labschool FIP UMJ, guru cenderung menyampaikan materi dengan menggunakan power point pada saat proses pembelajaran. Mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi monoton, tidak adanya timbal balik antara guru dan peserta didik. Dalam rangka meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik diperlukan bantuan media pembelajaran atau alat peraga yang menarik. Dengan latar belakang tersebut penulis mengembangkan alat peraga berupa PASTA (Papan Statistika). Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi statistika pada peserta didik kelas 7.1 SMP Labschool FIP UMJ. Sehingga peserta didik dapat memahami konsep dan prinsip matematika secara visual dan konkret (dapat disentuh) pada materi statistika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang solusi permasalahan bullying menggunakan pemodelan matematika dengan Bimbingan Konseling pada Pelajar Madrasah di Kabupaten Gowa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun model matematika SBP yang menggambarkan laju Perilaku kasus sosial pembulyan, menganalisis model bullying, mendapatkan solusi bullying dengan bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, populasi penelitian adalah siswa-siswi Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) dan Madrasah Aliyah (MA) di Kabupaten Gowa sebanyak 10.463 orang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 362 orang sebagai data utama penelitian yang diperoleh melalui instrument dan kuesioner secara luring dan daring. Penelitian dimulai dengan membagun model matematika kasus bullying, menganalisis model dan simulasi model berdasarkan data riil untuk menyimpulkan solusi pembulyan dengan bimbingan dan konseling di Madrasah menggunakan Maple. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil sintetis analisis dan simulasi model matematika SBP mengungkapkan dua titik keseimbangan yaitu keseimbangan yang tidak bebas dan bebas dari perilaku kasus sosial pembulyan, hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa kasus pembulyan akan selalu ada di kalangan pelajar di MTs dan MA, tetapi nilai bilangan reproduksi dasar R0=0,74889 yang mengindikasikan bahwa proses pembulyang dapat diatasi dan tidak terjadi penyebaran secara psikologi dimana setiap pelajar yang mendapatkan kasus dibuly tidak mempengaruhi pelajar lainnya dengan memaksimalkan bimbingan dan konseling di Madrasah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that cause adolescent mental health disorders in Makassar City and evaluate the effectiveness of Trapoly games in reducing the rate of mental health disorders among these adolescents. The population of this study consisted of adolescents aged 15-19 years in Makassar City with a sample of 399 randomly selected people. The research phase involved the distribution of questionnaires including the DASS-21 scale as well as instruments for measuring factors causing adolescent mental health disorders and Trapoly playing experience, followed by Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and t-test tests. The results of EFA research show that social interaction factors, product quality factors, emotional intelligence factors, interactive factors, social influence factors and individual characteristic factors affect the effectiveness of Trapoly games. Furthermore, CFA identified the factors that most influence adolescent mental health disorders in Makassar City are school environment factors and peer environment factors and the factors that most affect the effectiveness of Trapoly games are social influence factors. The t-test analysis confirmed a significant difference between the rates of adolescent mental health problems before and after playing Trapoly. The results highlighted that Trapoly game has the potential to reduce the rate of adolescent mental health disorders in Makassar City.

Abstract

This research delves into the intriguing relationship between mathematical concepts and traditional Indonesian cultural heritage, particularly in the context of ketupat telur. By applying the theory of knots (knot theory) as a field of topology, the study aims to identify geometric patterns that underlie the making of ketupat telur, as well as to understand the role of symmetry in the formation of knots. The main focus of this research is the ketupat telur knot diagram with 13 points of intersection and Alexander polynomial calculations, as an alternative method for obtaining knot polynomials. The results of the geometric structure analysis of ketupat telur with Alexander polynomial calculations yield: Ak=-t3+7t2-18t+23-18t-1+7t-2-t-3 This finding produces a polynomial that reflects its geometric and structural properties. This illustrates how fundamental mathematical concepts such as knots and polynomials can be applied to culture to achieve a deeper understanding of both.
