Abstract

The research aims to describe research results related to problem posing models in mathematics learning. This research uses a literature review method, with descriptive analysis and data obtained using secondary data. The research results are as follows: First; The problem posing approach influences learning outcomes and motivation to learn mathematics. Second; The problem posing approach is effective for improving critical thinking, creative thinking and abstract mathematical thinking skills. Third; Problem posing is effective for improving mathematical problem solving abilities. Fourth; Problem posing is effective for improving the ability to understand concepts. Five; Problem posing is effective for improving mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kesalahan dan faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal himpunan berdasarkan kriteria Watson dengan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara, serta instrumen yang digunakan divalidasi terlebih dahulu oleh dua orang ahli. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dimulai dari kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh jenis kesalahan serta penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa yaitu 1) Data tidak tepat disebabkan karena siswa salah memasukkan data ke dalam suatu himpunan; 2) Prosedur tidak tepat disebabkan karena siswa kurang teliti dalam mendata anggota suatu himpunan; 3) Data tidak disebutkan disebabkan karena siswa kurang memahami konsep himpunan; 4) Kesimpulan tidak disebutkan disebabkan karena siswa kurang teliti dalam membaca perintah soal; 5) Konflik level respon disebabkan karena siswa kurang memahami maksud dari soal; 6) Manipulasi tidak langsung disebabkan karena siswa bingung dalam menyelesaikan soal; 7) Masalah hirarki keterampilan disebabkan karena siswa kurang teliti dalam melakukan perhitungan; 8) Selain ketujuh kriteria di atas disebabkan karena siswa bingung dalam menggunakan cara untuk menyelesaikan soal sehingga waktu yang diberikan sudah habis dan tidak menuliskan jawaban.

Abstract

A Nonparametric regression with a truncated biresponse spline approach is a good method in solving the problem of unknown shape of the regression curve. Truncated splines provide high flexibility in estimating curves that have data patterns that tend to change at certain intervals and do not require classic assumption tests. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best biresponse truncated spline regression model for North Sumatra's inflation and GRDP. This study uses qualitative methods and uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sumatra. Selection of the best model is determined based on the optimal knot point using the minimum GCV value criteria. The research results obtained are the best spline model with 3 knot points with an MSE value of 1.6028 and a minimum GCV value of 0.0452. The value of response 1 is 14.64% and response 2 is 61.85%. This means that the ability of the predictor variable to explain the variance of the response variable is 14.64% and the remaining 61.85% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Based on the comment data that has been collected through data provided by the Nugraha Eka Courier route regarding serivce to customers, a sentiment analysis will e carried out to determine positive and negative comments. The collected data is divided to be used as training data and testing data for the classification process which is supported by the rapidminer application. The method used for clarification in this study is the Naïve Bayes method. This study aims to get the value of service accuracy based on comments given by the community. The results showed that the naïve bayes method was able to classify the comments that had been collected by getting an accuracy value for positive comments of 82,25% for negative comments getting an accuracy value of 17,75%. It is avident that the proposed method can be used to classify the services of the Nugraha Eka courier (JNE) line through the comments that have been collected.

Abstract

Food security is a condition where food is fulfilled for a household which is reflected in the availability of sufficient food both in terms of quantity and quality, safe, and equitable and affordable. In Government Regulation No. 38 of 2007 Food security has become a basic prerequisite that must be owned by autonomous regions where food security is a mandatory matter for the central, provincial, and district / city governments. To measure the food security of a region, the Government makes an indicator in looking at the achievement of food security of a region. This indicator is the Food Security Index. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to model factors related to food security through the Food Security Index to see how much these factors contribute to the ups and downs of the Food Security Index. One statistical method that can explain the relationship between predictor variables and response variables is spline nonparametric regression analysis. Spline is an approach towards matching data while taking into account the smoothness of curves. Splines have the advantage of overcoming data patterns that show sharp rises / downs with the help of knot points, and the resulting curve is relatively smooth. The research objective of this study was to determine the modeling of the Food Security Index in North Sumatra using the Multivariable Spline Regression Method. Based on the analysis that has been done, a spline regression model for the Food Security Index in North Sumatra was obtained at three knot points with a minimum GCV value of 27.39 and R^2 is 92.76%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems found in grade IX SMPN 03 Mapat Tunggul, namely the lack of learning media, the teaching aids used were not cultural-based, the teaching aids in schools were teaching aids that were not in accordance with the characteristics of students, resulting in students finding it difficult to understand the mathematical concepts learned. This research is a development research or Research and Development ( R & D ) with the development model Hannafin & Peck. Based on the development research that has been done, props were obtained with a very valid criterion of 82.33%, for the level of practicality is on a very practical criterion of 88.25%, for the level of effectiveness is on a very effective criterion of 80.95%. So it can be concluded that the Ethnomathematics-Based Mathematics Learning Aids at Rumah Gadang in grade IX SMPN 03 Mapat Tunggul Pasaman Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year that were developed are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that is the leading cause of poor health and one of the major causes of death around the world, in 2021 north Sumatra ran sixth as the province with the highest Tuberculosis rate after Provinsi Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa timur, DKI Jakarta, and Banten. This may result from an unhealthy environment, an increase in nutrition events, the appearance of HIV/AIDS. Hence, this study aims to create a forecast model by the method of regression support (SVR) with an optimist Particle Swarm Optimazion (PSO). The initial stage of the study involves analyzing the data of those with tuberculosis that begins by calculating the correlation between data with the underlying factors. Then do the preprocessing to initial data value, selecting the number of features and normalization of data. After the analysis stage, regression calculations are made to compare the value of browsing and actual value using the Support Vector Regression (SVR) method of Support Vector Regression (SVR) with the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) so that a good fortune-giving result is obtained. The results of this study were obtained from an analysis with a value of MAPE = 35.85.

Abstract

Direct Cash Assistance (DCA) can be understood as giving a sum of money (cash) to the poor through a village fund budget issued by the government. The DCA Program for Target Households (PTH) in its implementation must directly touch and provide direct benefits to the poor (which are categorized as PTH), encourage shared social responsibility and be able to foster public trust in the government in really paying attention to PTH. The Naive Bayes classifier is a classification method that can be used in the distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (DCA) by the Family Hope Program (FHP). The data used in this study were obtained from the East Sei Kepayang sub-district and the Asahan District Social Service. The data taken is only data obtained in 2022 and in branches sourced from the village fund budget issued by the government. The results showed that based on predetermined test data, the probability of "yes" assistance was 0.0066650391 while the probability of "no" assistance was 0, so that the results of the classification "yes" for this data were obtained.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran matematika masih terdapat siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah. Hal ini berpengaruh kepada kemampuan matematika yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar matematika yang dipandang dari neurosains. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas VIII D SMP Kanisius Gayam Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan metode penggumpulan data dengan kuisioner. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah lembar kuisioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan motivasi tipe A masuk dalam kategori tinggi mendapat rata-rata nilai 69, tipe B masuk dalam kategori tinggi mendapat rata-rata nilai 67,6, tipe C masuk dalam kategori tinggi mendapat rata-rata nilai 62,5 dan tipe X masuk dalam kategori cukup mendapat rata-rata nilai 60,33. Secara keseluruhan rata-rata nilai keempat tipe motivasi tersebut masuk dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mmenganalisis penerapan Tri Pusat Pendidikan dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa di kelas. Metode yang digunakan memanfaatkan pendekatan studi kasus dengan menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian teknik, antara lain wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui verifikasi dengan menerapkan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat memiliki peran krusial. Lingkungan keluarga berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter anak melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis contoh konkret. Sekolah juga memberikan kontribusi besar dengan kegiatan formal dan peran guru sebagai pendamping. Lingkungan masyarakat turut membangun peduli sosial, terutama melalui gotong royong. Keseluruhan, pengembangan karakter anak dipengaruhi oleh interaksi kompleks antara ketiga lingkungan tersebut, dengan harapan terbentuk generasi cerdas secara akademis dan berkarakter kuat.
