Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype of teacher?s book and student?s book, that is  valid, practical, and effective to facilitate students scientific creativity. This research is conducted through three phases, namely define, design, and develop. Those prototypes are try out in  VII grade  SMPN 30 Surabaya academic year 2014/2015 with one-group pretest-posttest design. Data are colleted using observation method, tests, and questionnaires. Data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that 1) the prototype of teacher?s and student?s book are categorized valid; 2) Learning using the prototipe of teacher?s book looked at from the implementation of learning package categorized as practice and students activity in line with the steps of discovery learning; 3) The effectiveness of learning of the prototype of teacher?s book viewed from the increattement of student?s scientific creativity score according to paired sample pretest and posttest in significant < 0,05. Students response  to learning package and the implementation  is very positive. It can be concluded that the prototipe of teacher?s book and students book is valid, practice and effective to train students scientific creativity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap dari model 4-D (Four-D Model), yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop) dan diujicobakan di kelas VII SMPN 30 Surabaya semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Pembelajaran menggunakan Prototipe Buku Guru ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori praktis dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model penemuan terbimbing; dan 3) Keefektivan Prototipe Buku Guru pembelajaran ditinjau dari: Peningkatan kreativitas ilmiah siswa terlihat dari signifikansi menggunakan uji Paired Sample Test pretest dan posttest sig < 0.05 dan respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan disimpulkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

PO2E2W learning model (problem orientation, observation, explanation, elaboration, and write in science) assisted by PhET media is a learning model that is oriented towards self regulated learning which in the process of physics learning activities is carried out with the help of PhET media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the practicality of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media in improving the physics problem solving skills of high school students. This research was carried out at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 High School (Surabaya, Indonesia) for students of class XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3. Criteria for practicality of learning devices in this study were based on (1) the implementation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) during one meeting in class XI IPA 1 and the implementation of the learning plan (RPP) for five meetings in class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3, (2) obstacles during learning activities. The number of observers in this study is two observers. The aspects observed consisted of introduction, core and closing activities. Based on the results of the practicality study of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media, the results obtained (1) the average assessment of two observers in class XI IPA 1 was 3.30 with good category with a percentage of agreement 96.75%, XI IPA 2 was 3.71 in very both with a percentage of agreement 95.84% and in class XI IPA 3 was 3.76 in very good category with a percentage of agreement 96.85% (2) obstacles during learning activities that can be overcome properly. Conclusion based on the results of the study of the freeness of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media is practically applied in learning to improve the physics problem solving skills of senior high school students.

Abstract

This research was intended to produce the innovative instructional materials based on the learner autonomy levels on fundamental physics lecture and also to describe the feasibility of the materials. This research was conducted in two stages. The first stage was the preparation intended to produce the innovative instructional materials. The second stage was the instructional implementation in a classroom by using the pretest and posttest group design. The data of research results showed that the developed instructional materials were declared valid according to the expert judgment with good category on the whole. The developed instructional materials also fulfilled the practical criteria based on (a) the application of the lesson plan in classroom reaching 100% with the quality of very good category, and (b) the students? activities were suitable with the requirement of every stage of the lesson plan. Furthermore, the developed instructional materials were also declared effective based on (a) the assessment of the students? learning outcome giving the learning mastery of 100%, while the mastery of achievement indicator of basic competence being 100%, and (b) the students? response to the instruction in the forms of interest and motivation including the aspects of attention, relevance, self-confidence, and satisfaction, all of which being of good category. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the developed instructional materials based on the learner autonomy levels were declared feasible (valid, effective, and practical) to be used on fundamental physics lecture Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat perkuliahan inovatif berdasarkan tingkat otonomi pebelajar pada perkuliahan fisika dasar dan juga untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat perkuliahan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama adalah persiapan; bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat. Tahap kedua adalah implementasi  perkuliahan di kelas yang menggunakan rancangan pretest and posttest group design. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat perkuliahan yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid berdasarkan hasil penilaian pakar yang kesemuanya berkategori baik. Perangkat perkuliahan hasil pengembangan juga memenuhi kriteria praktis berdasarkan (a) keterlaksanaan RPP sebesar 100% dengan kualitas keterlaksanaan berkategori sangat baik, dan (b) aktivitas mahasiswa sesuai dengan tuntutan dari setiap tahapan perkuliahan yang direncanakan. Lebih lanjut perangkat perkuliahan yang dikembangkan juga dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan (a) hasil belajar mahasiswa yang memberikan ketuntasan sebesar 100%, dengan ketuntasan indikator ketercapaian kompetensi dasar 100%, dan (b)  respon mahasiswa terhadap perkuliahan berupa minat dan motivasi yang meliputi aspek perhatian, relevansi, kepercayaan diri, dan kepuasan, yang semuanya berkategori baik. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat perkuliahan berdasarkan tingkat otonomi pebelajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak (valid, efektif dan praktis) untuk digunakan dalam perkuliahan fisika dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Fisika melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan yang bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan mengadaptasi model 4-D, dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan pada pembelajaran di kelas menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Validitas perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi: (a) Validitas komponen RPP dengan skor rata-rata 4,09 (sangat baik), (b) Rerata skor BAS yang meliputi sub komponen kelayakan isi 3,53 (sangat baik), kebahasaan 3,43 (sangat baik), penyajian 3,42 (sangat baik), (c) Rata-rata skor validasi LKS 4,32 (sangat baik), (d) Soal pretest-posttest yang valid. (2) Keterlaksanaan KBM rata-rata 3,86 (sangat baik), aktivitas siswa mempunyai indeks reliabilitas rata-rata 90% dengan kegiatan paling dominan berdiskusi dalam merumuskan kesimpulan. Analisis N-Gain hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan: 42% siswa mengalami peningkatan sedang dan 58% siswa mengalami peningkatan yang tinggi. Respon siswa menunjukkan tertarik, mudah dan berminat dalam mengikuti KBM. Berdasarkan hasil-hasil analisis data dalam  penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMA.

Abstract

Science teaching and learning process in school only emphasize on the aspects accepting of knowledge, remembering, and logical thinking, while students creative thinking aspects get less attention. Teachers did not implement the teaching activity that emphasizes the creative thinking because of limited time to make teaching and learning amaterials wich can facilitate students creative thinking skill. This research aimed to produce science teaching and learning set that are feasible, practical, and effective to facilitate creative thinking skill of junior high school students. This research was conducted to implement the teaching and learning materials based on 5E Learning Cycle model. The subjects of this research was teaching and learning materials. This development research was develop using Dick-Carey?s model and try out research using one group pre-test post-test design. Try out was conducted in 7th grade students of  SMPN 6 Kediri. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. The results  showed: (1) the teaching and learning set was developed feasible with good category; (2) learning implementation get good category; (3) the students more active in learning; (4) student creative thinking skill get high category gain score; (5) the students give positive response with very strong category toward teaching and learning process. Based on this results, it can be concluded that the science teaching and learning materials based on 5E Laerning Cycle model has been developed are feasible, practical, and effective to facilitate students creative thinking skill. Proses pembelajaran IPA di sekolah hanya menekankan pada aspek penerimaan pengetahuan, ingatan dan berpikir logis sedangkan aspek berpikir kreatif siswa kurang diperhatikan. Guru belum melaksanakan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses berpikir kreatif karena keterbatasan waktu dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa SMP. Pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan cara menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis 5E Learning Cycle. Sasaran penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Dick-Carey dan desain ujicoba penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test post-test. Uji Coba dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kediri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat yang dikembangkan valid dengan kategori baik; (2) pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kategori baik; (3) siswa lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran; (4) kemampuan berpikir kreatif menunjukkan skor N-gain berkategori tinggi; (5) Siswa memberikan respon positif dengan kategori sangat kuat terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA 5E Learning Cycle yang telah dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

Semarang Religious Education and Training Center is an institution that serves to educate prospective civil servants or State Civil Apparatuses. Types of education are many kinds, but what the authors mean is the Madrasah Administration Head Training, Seoarang PNS in ASN Management material, which is derived from PP 11 of 2017 said that a PNS at least in one year must have a minimum of 20 hours of Education Training certificate. The author makes and studies more in Madrasa Administration Training, because based on the Pre test result data guided by the homeroom teacher (widyaiswara) and the organizing committee, the results are not in line with the expectations of the Semarang Religious Education Center. The test post is the final destination after participants take part in KTI learning so that the implementation of the education program knows the results of the study, the test post is carried out after the participant receives the learning material in accordance with the curriculum and syllabus. The results of the pre-test and post-test we processed the data through quantitative and descriptive statistical methods, resulting in the finding that participants of the Madrasah Administration Head of Education for the following year had to take part in the training again because it was not in line with the expectations of the Semarang Religious Education Center. The final result is in accordance with the statistical data processing and the writer describes one class of 35 participants, the pre test average score is 59, the results of the post test score 68.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop appropriate biology instruction materials for the pilot international standard junior high school students, and  2)  to describe the implementation results of the developed biology instruction materials for the pilot international standard junior high school students.  Instructional materials consisted of the lesson plans, the student?s worksheet, the student?s book and the achievement test were developed by implementing reciprocal teaching approach. Research subject for the first implementation of  the developed biology instruction materials was twelve students and the second implementation was  twenty-three students of The Pilot International Standard Junior High School 1 Ngoro Mojokerto. Research Design for the implementation was one group pretest-postest design. The instructional materials had been validated and the results showed that  the instructional materials were appropriate to be implemented.  Observations were made during the implementation of the teaching and learning materials and the results showed that the teaching learning activities were consistent with the instructional implementation plans.  The implementation results showed that all of the students involved were able to meet the minimum competency standard prescribed by the school.  Students activities were dominated by pointing out  important conceps of the text  and asking questions. Most of the students gave positif respons to the instructional process.  So, it could be concluded the developed biology instruction materials for the pilot international standard junior high school students by implementing reciprocal teaching approach for the topic human breathing system were effective to achieve the prescribed competency.Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran biologi SMP RSBI yang layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan 2) mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan perangkat pembelajaran biologi SMP RSBI.  Perangkat pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan  berorientasi pendekatan reciprocal teaching  pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Subyek penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, buku ajar, lembar kegiatan siswa dan tes hasil belajar.  Subyek penelitian pada tahap ujicoba satu  adalah 12 siswa dan ujicoba dua adalah 23 siswa SMPN 1 Ngoro Mojokerto.  Penerapan perangkat pembelajaran pada saat ujicoba, menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design.  Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah layak untuk  digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Tingkat kesulitan dan keterbacaan buku ajar dan lembar kegiatan siswa berkategori sedang dan tepat untuk pembelajaran. Hasil penerapan perangkat pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori baik, aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran didominasi oleh aktivitas menyampaikan konsep penting suatu bacaan dan mengajukan pertanyaan.  Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa semua siswa tuntas pada ujicoba satu dan dua. Sebagian besar siswa  memberikan respon yang positif terhadap  pembelajaran. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran biologi SMP RSBI berorientasi pendekatan  reciprocal teaching pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia, efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

After doing research by using 5E Learning Cycle Model through Guided Discovery learning with the topic of Human Reproduction System, it aimed to increase the student learning outcomes.  The subjects were 35 students of SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda, which used One group pretest-posttest design. The data were analyzed by using quantitative-qualitative description, the results are : (1) The feasibility of lesson plan categorized as good; (2) Student activity with a good instrument reliability; (3) Student learning outcomes had increased with the average score was 85 (N-gain score was 0,76).  According to analyzed data, it can be concluded that 5E Learning Cycle Model through Guided Discovery can be used to increase student learning outcomes. Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E berbasis Guided Discovery pada pokok bahasan Sistem reproduksi  manusia, dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Subyek penelitian 35 siswa SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda menggunakan rancangan One Group Pretest and Postest Design. Data adalah hasil kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Keterlaksanaan RPP dengan kategori baik; (2) aktivitas siswa dengan realibilitas instrumen berkategori baik; (3) THB untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terhadap materi sistem reproduksi manusia dengan rata-rata skor 85 yang secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan Gain 0.76. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Learning Cycle 5E berbasis Guided Discovery dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a Physics learning materials using Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model, which is valid, practical, and effective to Train creativity of student. This research is conducted through three phases from 4-D model, those are define, design, and develop. That instrument is tried out in XI grade Vocation High School of Senopati Sedati Sidoarjo academic year 2016/2017 with one group pretest-post test design. The learning instruments developed include: (a) syllabus, (b) Lesson Plan, (c) handout, (d) Work Sheet, (e) Assessment Sheet of creativity. Research variabels which can be measured are validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning instrument. Data are collected using validity method, observation, test, questionnaires. Data are analyzed quantitatively descriptive and qualitatively. Research data shows that (a) developed learning instrument is categorized valid, (b) Learning process was going well, (c) training of student creativity produces increase on middle category, and (d) student gives positive feedback to learning had done. Abstract

The purposes of this study were to describe students? concept mastery, creative thinking ability, profile of creative attitudes, and the correlation between creative thinking ability and concept mastery after implementing 5E Learning Cycle model. This research was the mixing of the quasy experiment with one group pre test-post test design and correlational study, which initiated by teaching materials development using the Dick & Carey model. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Mojosari involving students of IPA-2 grade XI as subject. Instruments used in the research were teaching materials? validation sheets, leson plan activity observation sheet, mastery concept sheet, creative thinking ability sheet, creative attitude observation sheet, and students?response questionaire. The data analyses of students? concept mastery, creative thinking ability, and profile of creative attitudes were descriptively done, while analysis of correlation between creative thinking ability and concept mastery were using Pearson?s product moment correlation technique. Based on the data analysis, it could be described that results of the reasearch were (1) the students? concept mastery and creative thinking ability on the salt hydrolysis topic after implementing 5E Learning Cycle model had reached high gains, (2) the creative attitudes appeared during the implementation of 5E Learning Cycle model including curiosity in engagement phase, complexity in exploration phase, curiosity in explanation phase, risk-taking in elaboration phase, and risk-taking in evaluation phase were good, each had frequency more than 75%, and (3)  there was a very strong and significant correlation between creative thinking ability and concept mastery. The conclusion of the research was chemistry learning on the salt hydrolysis topic using 5E Learning Cycle model had improved the students? concept mastery and creative thinking ability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguasaan konsep, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, profil sikap kreatif dan hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah implementasi model 5E Learning Cycle. Penelitian ini merupakan gabungan dari penelitian eksperimen semu jenis one group pre test-post test design dan penelitian korelasional, yang diawali pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Dick & Carey. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Mojosari dengan subyek siswa kelas XI IPA-2. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, lembar penilaian penguasaan konsep (LPPK), lembar penilaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif (LPKBK), lembar pengamatan sikap kreatif, dan angket respon siswa. Analisis data tentang penguasaan konsep, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan profil sikap kreatif siswa dilakukan secara deskriptif, sedangkan analisis hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep dilakukan menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment Pearson. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat dipaparkan hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada topik hidrolisis garam setelah mengimplikasikan model 5E Learning Cycle telah mencapai gain tinggi, (2) sikap kreatif siswa pada implementasi model 5E Learning Cycle yaitu curiosity pada fase engagement, complexity pada fase exploration, curiosity pada fase explanation, risk-taking pada fase elaboration dan risk-taking pada fase evaluation adalah baik, masing-masing mempunyai frekuensi lebih dari 75%, (3) ada hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kimia pada materi pokok hidrolisis garam dengan model 5E Learning Cycle telah meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan berpikir kreatif siswa.
