Abstract

Changes in people’s lifstyles over time have had an impact on the business world. One of the businesses affected by the changes that have occurred is the coffee industry. The high level of coffee consumption in Indonesia causes businesses to take advantage of opportunities to open coffee shops. In facing competition, business actors must develop strategies that are oriented toward customer satisfaction. One of the factors that influence customer satisfaction is service quality. The better the quality of service provided, the more revenue the coffee shop business can increase. This research was conducted to determine the effect of service quality on sales volume. This research uses the associative quantitative method. The number of samples used was 100 samples with a probability sampling technique which was carried out at the Jagakarsa Seduh Coffee Shop. The data analysis technique uses the classic assumption test, namely the normality test, regression linearity test, simple regression analysis, correlation coefficient test and coefficient of determination, t statistical test. The result showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect of 43,2% on the sales volume of the Seduh Coffee Shop business. Therefore, coffee shop business actors should maintain and improve service quality to increase revenue in business sales volume.

This research aims to prove empirically how income smoothing earnings management, company strategy (cost leadership and differentiation), and the COVID-19 pandemic influence bankruptcy risk. This research took a sample of 23 retail trading subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the first to the fourth quarter of 2019-2020. The method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. The results show that income smoothing earnings management has a positive relationship with bankruptcy risk. In addition, if a company implements a cost leadership strategy in its business, it will reduce the risk of bankruptcy borne by the company. On the other hand, differentiation strategy and the COVID-19 pandemic do not have a significant effect on bankruptcy risk.

As for how to utilize regional property by leasing, borrowing, cooperative utilization, building for handover, building for handover and cooperation in providing infrastructure. The research method used in this research is to use quantitative research methods. The results of this study are that currently the form of asset utilization carried out by the UPTD Maintenance of Roads and Bridges is rent, the results received from asset utilization have not made a significant contribution to increasing PAD, asset management that is less than optimal due to there are still damaged tools. The method used is a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis techniques. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. Data used secondary data from Statistics of Tuban Regencys in 2008-2016, which includes data on education level, income, consumption and poverty. The results of the research. There is a significant effect between the education level on poverty, because the significant value of the education level variable is smaller than 0.050 which is equal to 0.037. There is no significant effect between income on poverty, because the significant value of the income variable is greater than 0.050 which is equal to 0.365. There is no significant effect between consumption on poverty, because the significant value of the consumption variable is greater than 0.050 which is equal to 0.094. There is a significant effect together between education level, income, and consumption on poverty, because the significant value is smaller than 0.050 which is equal to 0.001 so this result shows that the independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable together.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate governance on the financial performance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with the variable of the Inflation rate which is considered to moderate the relationship between corporate governance and SOEs financial performance. This study uses secondary data from the financial and annual reports of SOEs listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. The purposive sampling method was used to collect 23 samples from the company. Analysis of hypothesis testing data using the E-views 9 application. The results of the study indicate that corporate governance proxied by Government Ownership, Institutional Ownership, Board of Directors Size, Independent Board of Commissioners Size has a negative and significant effect on SOEs financial performance as measured by ROA, conversely corporate governance proxied using Audit Committee Size has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Meanwhile, only Government Ownership and Institutional Ownership negatively and significantly affect ROE, while Board of Directors Size, Independent Board of Commissioners Size, and Audit Committee Size do not affect ROE. In addition, with the moderating factor of inflation rate, the research findings show a significant negative relationship between Government Ownership to ROA, Institutional Ownership to ROA and ROE, and Audit Committee Size to ROE. Meanwhile, with the moderating factor of inflation rate, only the size of the Independent Board of Commissioners positively and significantly affects ROE while the Size of the Board of Directors, Independent Board of Commissioners, and Audit Committee do not affect ROA. The same results for Government Ownership and Board of Directors Size also do not affect ROE with the moderating factor of inflation rate. This study provides information to management on how to run every business process in SOEs to implement good corporate governance, so that SOEs can maintain and improve financial performance even in unstable macroeconomic conditions. Good corporate governance practices can increase the liquidity and value of SOEs shares in the capital market. Investors will tend to invest in companies whose shares are liquid and whose value increases over time. Good corporate governance creates a positive perception in the market, which can boost stock prices. SOEs with strong corporate governance tend to have a more stable and reliable dividend policy. Investors seeking a steady income from their investments will be attracted to SOEs that are able to consistently provide dividends, even in uncertain economic conditions due to inflation. The results of this study provide input to the Government to be able to formulate more targeted policies to support the strengthening of corporate governance in SOEs that include stricter regulations, better supervision, and incentives for SOEs that implement good corporate governance. The Government needs to continue to encourage the improvement of corporate governance in SOEs as part of a long-term strategy to ensure stable and sustainable financial performance, even in economic conditions affected by inflation.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of price and quantity on sales mediated by promotions at PT The Univenus during the 2019–2023 period. This study uses a quantitative approach as the research method, this study examines the relationship between independent variables (price and quantity) and dependent variables (sales) with promotion as a mediating variable whose data is processed by the SEM-PLS method. The results show that price and quantity have a significant influence on sales, and promotions reinforce this relationship. Competitive pricing increases sales volume, especially when products are promoted, as well as adequate quantities encourage larger purchases in a multi-unit promotional strategy. Effective promotions not only increase short-term sales but also help build brand loyalty. This study fills a gap in the literature on the interaction of price elasticity, promotion, and consumer response in the manufacturing industry. To increase sales and market position.
