Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the differences in the somatotypes of futsal and basketball athletes. This research is an analytical observational study with cross-sectional approach. Research subjects were 30 professional futsal and basketball athletes. Determination of somatotype using the Heath-Carter method using the antropometric measurements. Data analysis to determine the differences in the somatotypes of futsal and basketball athletes using the independent sample T-test. The result of the independent T-test to find out the difference between futsal and basketball athletes with α determained at 0.05 obtained a significance level of 0.047 in mesomorph athletes which signifies a significant correlation between futsal and basketball athletes somatotypes. There are differences in somatotypes of futsal and basketball athletes with mesomorph types Keyword: Basketball, Futsal, Somatotype

Abstract

A B S T R A C TPhysical exercise causes athletes to be at risk of injury. One of the most common muscle injuries is Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). DOMS is a pain felt by a person within 24-72 hours after sports activities. Active recovery is a physical activity that do in low intensity. Passive recovery means stop activity and not doing anything or total rest. This research is expected to find the type effective and efficient recovery in reducing DOMS symptoms. The type of this research is quasi experiment with the three group post-control group design. The sample is a student of Faculty of Sport Science State University of Padang which is divided into 3 groups. Each group consists of 15 students. Each Sample will perform an eccentric physical exercise by squatting 10 sets (1set: 20 steps) with a break for 30 seconds each set. After exercie group 1 didn’t do recovery, group 2 did a passive recovery and group 3 did active recovery. After 48 hours, DOMS measurements were made using Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Research data is tabulated and analyzed with descriptive statistic test, distribution normality test, homogeneity test, different test. Result of data analysis concluded there is effect of active recovery to DOMS symptom with p 0,005. There is no effect of passive recovery of DOMS symptoms with p 0, 180. Conclusion active recovery research can reduce DOMS symptoms.

Abstract

Speed and agility are two important components in sports. Both are commonly used to indicate an athlete's physical fitness in training. Therefore, special training is needed to improve speed and agility. Exercise is an activity that is carried out repeatedly to achieve better physical, mental, and psychological enhancement. The type of exercise used varies for each physical condition that needs to be improved. This study examined the use of 40-yard sprint and A-movement exercise to improve speed and agility. The research design is a quasi- experimental study with participants consist of 30 male students of SMAN 1 Banyuwangi, aged 16-18 years old, who are members of futsal extracurricular club. The training program was conducted for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 meetings every Sunday. The obtained results of statistical calculations were normal and homogeneous data. Calculation of the effect test with α = 5% obtained significance values of 0.00 for speed and 0.004 for agility. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the 40-yard sprint and A-movement exercise combined are effective to improve speed and agility. Further research is suggested to find out which type of exercise is better at increasing speed and agility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan model latihan strokes bulutangkis untuk atlet single usia pemula dalam meningkatkan keterampilan strokes bulutangkis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research&Development). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PB. Kurnia Tasikmalaya dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 35 orang. Dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t test. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa jumlah nilai pretest adalah 2715 dengan rata-rata 77,57 dan jumlah nilai posttest adalah 3111 dengan rata-rata 88,89 artinya bahwa adanya peningkatan jumlah dan nilai rata-rata dan Dalam uji signifikansi perbedaan dengan SPSS 23 didapat hasil t-hitung 18,920 df =34 dan p-value = 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan latihan strokes bulutangkis sebelum dan sesudah adanya perlakuan model latihan strokes. Dengan demikian model latihan strokes bulutangkis untuk atlet single usia pemula efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan strokes bulutangkis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi prestasi olahraga Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Olahraga (PPLM) Provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan evaluasi. Metode pengumpulan data  secara triangulasi menggunakan wawancara, studi dokumen dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Program PPLM Provinsi Bali telah mampu meningkatnya kebugaran fisik para atletnya, 2) Program PPLM Provinsi Bali juga telah mampu meningkatnya teknik atlet, 3) dan perolehan medali pada kejuaraan nasional dengan jumlah yang beragam dan fluktuatif namun cendrung menurun. Dari kesimpulan tersebut, maka dapat direkomendasikan bahwa program PPLM Bali masih layak untuk dilanjutkan, namun perlu melakukan perbaikan pengelolaan untuk meningkatkan prestasi. Kata kunci: Prestasi Olahraga, Pusat Pendidikan Dan Latihan Olahraga Mahasiswa (PPLM), Evaluasi

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Konflik kekerasan, kelompok beladiri, paradigma sosiologi olahraga dan kepemimpinanAktualisasi konflik kekerasan dipandang sebagai fenomena sosial untuk mengekspresikan diri dalam perilaku agresif. Namun perilaku ini pada dasarnya merupakan proses pembelajaran sosial anggota tentang bagaimana melatih keterampilan, sifat-sifat, nilai, sikap, norma dan pengetahuan yang dikaitkan dengan peranan dalam olahraga. Mengingat begitu luasnya permasalahan yang dikaji dalam perspektif sosiologi olahraga, maka peneliti membatasi permasalahan yang difokuskan pada kajian kepemimpinan dalam organisasi beladiri yang masih rentan dengan terjadinya konflik antar kelompok anggotanya. Realita sumber data nantinya akan didiskripsikan dan dianalisis untuk membangun sebuah proposisi.Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk studi kasus, yang difokuskan pada fenomena sosial tentang konflik kekerasan yang sering terjadi pada anggota kelompok organisasi khususnya beladiri Pencak silat. Kasus konflik kekerasan tersebut diteliti melalui pendekatan metode kualitatif, sehingga kajian permasalahan dan penerapan metode penelitiannya menjadi pilihan yang argumentatif.Simpulan bahwa konflik kekerasan yang selama ini terjadi karena dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan yang masih mengedepankan pada pendekatan pola humanis dan prestise organisasi.Hal ini didasarkan pada temuan tentang pemahaman nilai ajaran Pencak silat anggota yang belum maksimal dan transformasi nilai Pencak silat sebagai budaya ke cabang olahraga yang tidak tuntas.Proposisi yang dibangun adalah bahwa solidaritas yang kuat akan membangun kelompok  ingroup-outgroup, Solidaritas yang kuat dibangun melalui rutinitas kegiatan, Solidaritas sosial yang dibangun bersifat fungsional dan disfungsional. Sifat fungsionalnya memerkuat solidaritas kelompok sedangkan disfungsionalnya menimbulkan sikap deglorifikasi anggota, Sikap deglorifikasi ini dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian anggota untuk kepentingan pribadi sehingga memperluas wilayah konflik dan terus berkepanjangan, Konflik kekerasan yang terus menerus juga diakibatkan oleh ketidakmaksimalan pemahaman nilai ajaran pencak silat dan ketidaktuntasan transformasi budaya ke cabang olahraga, Ketidaktuntasan transformasi budaya ke cabang olahraga menyebabkan organisasi beladiri Pencak silat lebih dekat dengan organisasi masyarakat, sedangkan Organisasi masyarakat banyak berhimpitan dengan politik, ekonomi dan sosial (secara Politik: organisasi masyarakat menjadi sumber kekuasaan, secara ekonomi: organisasi masyarakat menjadi sumber pendapatan, secara sosial: mereka membangun solidaritas sosial untuk memertahankan eksistensinya).

Abstract

Objective: to determine the existence, amount and types of traditional games which are in the district of Semarang. Methods: This study was descriptive qualitative research with survey method. Samples from this study is the physical education teacher and elementary school students who are in the district of Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Results: The results of the study show the following: (1) There are various traditional games in Semarang District; (2) the number of traditional games contained in Semarang District of ten traditional game consists of: Bentengan, Gobak Sodor, Sunda Manda, Bakiak, Bintang Bergilir, Bola Bakar, Egrang, Rok Dodok, Kucing Tikus dan Ular Naga; (3) traditional games which are in the district of Semarang who often played the children of eight games consist of: Bentengan, Gobak Sodor, Sunda Manda,Kucing Tikus, Bintang Bergilir dan Bola Bakar. Conclusion: The traditional game contained in Semarang district as many as ten games and traditional games are often played in Semarang district as many as six games.

Abstract

This study aims to knowing the differences in effectiveness of the timing cold water immersion against the onset of delayed onset muscle soreness after submaximal exercise. This research is an experimental study with posttest-only with control group design. The pain of delayed onset muscle soreness measured by Visual Analog Scale. The subjects were 30 samples, which split into 3 groups. Data analysis to determine the result of this study used the one way ANOVA with α determined at 0.05. The result of this study indicate that there are significant differences in each group, the group that received the immersion had a lower pain scale than the control group, also the group that was treated 1 hour after exercise showed better results than the 4 hours, CWI after 1 hour after exercise can inhibit migration of neutrophils which are the main cells of secondary damage that will induce pain. The conclusion of this study is cold water immersion after 1 hour after exercise is better than the 4 hours.
