Abstract

Abstract

Perancangan busana ini bertujuan mendesain busana cocktail yang akan digunakan untuk pemotretan. Hasil pemotretan tersebut akan dimuat dalam buku kenangan sekolah. Target market yang dituju adalah remaja putri usia 18 tahun yang duduk di bangku Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Bahan utama yang digunakan adalah bahan tradisi Tenun Ikat dari daerah Ende Ndona, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur yang dikombinasikan dengan bahan Gordyn Poliyester Jacguard. Karena bunga teratai menjadi sumber ide, maka bentuk kelopak bunga teratai diterapkan pada rok dan bagian atasan. Bahan poliyester jacguard tersebut kemudian diquilting dengan benang emas agar motifnya semakin timbul. Selain itu, inovasi aplikasi paper quilling juga diterapkan pada rancangan ini. Pada umumnya paper quilling dibuat menggunakan kertas, maka pada karya ini penulis mencoba untuk membuat paper quilling dengan bahan organdi. Cocktail dress pada karya ini terdiri dari two pieces dan three pieces. Karena diperuntukan bagi remaja usia 18 tahun, maka desainnya dibuat feminim, girly dan chic dengan pemilihan warna-warna natural yang disesuaikan dengan tren warna 2016.

Abstract

Creative strategies are designed by exploring problems in the surrounding environment and compiling creative ideas that are able to create designs that are useful for the community and the environment. Sign system in the context of visual communication design is a series of visual representations that have a purpose as a medium for human interaction in a public space that functions as information and a pointer from a location or place even from an appeal. This is done so that a communication process can be understood and agreed upon by many people on an ongoing basis. The sign system in this case is a wayfinding which is also formed from a pictogram. The pictograms are then used as a means of communicating through visual language. Pictograms through visual language make people see as well as read and analyze the meaning of the displayed image which sees, reads and analyzes pictograms which will develop problem solving habits, sensitivity and discipline awareness.This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive method with a semiotic approach. Methods of data collection using literature study, observation, and interviews. To develop a pictogram it was used to analyze and design wayfinding at Sahid University Surakarta.

Abstract

The main thing that is interesting to know about the form of wayang kulit, is the technique of making and carving leather puppets which are complex is the coloring. Coloring in wayang is the most important factor. Due to the color of the shadow puppets, there is a soul of the shadow puppet character, as was done by mbah Niman from Cinyawang village, Cilacap district. This research begins with the problem, how are the techniques and process of coloring the wayang kulit purwa by Mbah Niman and the second, how is the aesthetic aspect of the color of the puppet purwa by Mbah Niman. The purpose of this study was to describe and explain the techniques and aesthetic values contained in the shadow puppet colors by Mbah Niman

Abstract

The fashion design in this Final Project aims to create a special party fashion design that combines the source of ideas and selected fashion styles. The source of the idea for this design is Cubism "Two Face of the Girls" itself is poured into clothing with the application of pacth wrok and using traditional lurik material, while the fashion style is Harajuku Style using original clothing from Japan such as Yukata and Kimono. The type of clothing chosen is a special themed party dress. The material used in this design is linen cotton and hemp cotton for the Cubism motif. The colors of the material in this design use secondary colors.

Abstract

Clothing is everything we wear from head to toe, the clothes we wear also reflect our personality and social status, and can convey a message to someone who sees it. The author raised the theme of harajuku street of the mural which was inspired by the street style of Harajuku combined with mural art by street artists. Because it shows that the merging of two different elements is able to create something newer and contemporary.

Abstract

Bentuk sebuah pola yang berulang ulang tanpa adanya keanekaragaman dapat menimbulkan kejenuhan, begitu pula keanekaragaman tanpa aturan menimbulkan kekacauan. Sehingga diperlukan prisip-prinsip desain sebagai acuan dasar dalam mengkomposisikan bentuk agar penyusunan sebuah desain dapat terarah serta menghasilkan komposisi yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini fokus pada bentuk pola desain produk daur ulang dibank sampah rejeki lancar danukusuman surakarta. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, sehingga dapat menggali informasi seluas-luasnya dari hasil observasi dan wawancara terhadap informan sebagai pelaku kelompok bank sampah rejeki lancar. Penerapan prinsip-prinsip desain pada pola desain produk daur ulang sampah kemasan yang dibuat oleh kelompok bank sampah rejeki lancar pada produk daur ulang yang dihasilkan baik dari produk jadi maupun produk setengah jadi yaitu: kesatuan, keseimbangan, irama, kontras, fokus dan.proporsi. Penggunaan warna menyatu dengan bentuk lengkung, baik yang berlawanan arah maupun yangmengikuti bentuk produk menghasilkan rongga tersusun secara teratur serta bentuk lengkung yang berbeda dimensinya pada bagian luar semakin ke dalam yang mengikuti bentuk piring. Garis imajiner yang membagi menjadi dua bagian, tepat ditengah, perbedaan warna mengurangi kejenuhan karena adanya perulangan, warna hijau menyolok yang memberi kesan kontras di antara perulangan bentuk lengkung searah dan berlawanan secara melingkar mengikuti bentuk bendanya dan tidak terputus, diantara warna ungu, terdapat perbedaan warna hijau yang menyolok sehingga menjadi fokus pada komposisi yang terdapat di bentuk piring, antara perulangan bentuk lengkung bagian dalam dan bagian luar terdapat perbedaan dimensi, hal tersebut yang menjadikan bentuk piring terlihat proporsional, begitu pula dimensi antara perulangan warna hijau bagian dalam dan bagian luar.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is famous for its many diverse cultures and from various regions, so there are many Indonesian cultures that are rarely known by many people, even the Indonesian people themselves. The many cultures and languages that exist in Indonesia give this country its own color and also become one of the icons and special attractions for foreigners, the many cultural differences in Indonesia have a positive impact on society. One of Indonesian culture that is not well known is traditional Indonesian tattoos, where tattoos are one of the cultural customs of several tribes in Indonesia, namely the Mentawai, Dayak, and Moi tribes. Tattoos on each tribe are symbols or traditional traditions for them, which have their own meaning. Of the three tribes, the most familiar are Dayak tattoos and Moi tattoos, but the ones that are more widely used by the general public are Dayak tattoo motifs.
