Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to understand taharah material in class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Karangploso by using the STAD type cooperative learning method. This research uses classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A of SMP N 1 Karangploso in the academic year 2019/2020 as many as 30 students consisting of 13 students and 17 students. The results showed that the ability of students to understand the taharah material increased in cycle 1, namely the number of students whose scores were below the KKM or included in the lower group category as many as 10 students or 33.33% and those included in the medium group category as many as 15 students or 50%, while 5 students or 16.67% are in the upper group category, which is getting 85 and above. In cycle 2 the students' abilities increased until there were only two students whose scores were less than the KKM or 6.66%, 17 students or 56.67% got a score range of 78-84, and a total of 11 students or 36.67% were included in the group category. above because it gets a score of 85-100. Increased learning success can also be shown by increasing student activity. Thus, it can be concluded that the STAD method can improve the ability to understand taharah material in class VII students of SMPN 1 Karangploso for the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

Dhammasekha Saddhapala Jaya is a non-formal Buddhist religious education route organized by a Buddhist education foundation. Dhammasekha Saddhapala Jaya aims at instilling faith, morality and improving the quality of Buddhist human resources. An organizational culture that develops in accordance with Buddhist values ​​includes belief in Buddha's teachings (saddha), morality (sila), willingness (dana), self-sacrifice (paricagga), enthusiasm (viriya), loving-kindness (metta), and respect for all the citizens of Dhammasekha. Spiritual guidance for students is balanced with skills, arts, and culture. Dhammasekha provides support for teachers to obtain education and training to improve teacher professionalism. Dhammasekha maintains several quality components, including focusing on customers, teamwork, education, and continuous improvement to improve the quality of Dhammasekha Saddhapala Jaya.

Abstract

Although teachers must master the seven aspects of pedagogic competence, the fact is that some elementary school teachers in East Kutai Indonesia have not met expectations. This study aims to determine: the actions of principals in improving pedagogic competence through the application of academic supervision to elementary school teachers, and whether the actions of principals in implementing academic supervision can improve the pedagogic competence of elementary school teachers. The school action research design went through two cycles, involving 14 elementary school teachers as participants. Each participant was asked to fill out a consent form after being briefed on the research process and its benefits. The main instrument of the researcher himself, with the help of an observation sheet, interview guide, field notes, and a voice recorder. Results show the principal's action to improve pedagogic competence through the application of academic supervision begins with reflection, planning action, implementation, observation, and reflection, which is carried out in two cycles. The principal's actions in implementing academic supervision can improve the pedagogic competence of elementary school teachers. In the first cycle the average value of pedagogic competence only reached 66% (< 75%), and in the second cycle it reached 86% (> 75%). Therefore, school action research needs to be cultivated in educational institutions, because it is very effective in overcoming learning problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the internalization of character education based on exemplary national heroes in learning citizenship education in elementary schools in Karangasem Regency, Bali. "Character Education through exemplary national heroes, begins with findings in the field, that Citizenship Education learning is cognitive-oriented, does not pay attention to didactic and affective meanings. This study used an experimental design in testing the effectiveness of exemplary-based learning of national heroes on social responsibility attitudes and character of elementary school students. The instruments used to collect data in this study were questionnaires, learning outcomes tests, score inventory, and self-evaluation. The questionnaire was designed to determine the feasibility of exemplary-based instruction from national heroes. The learning outcome test is used to find out the score. Data analysis used multivariate analysis of variance. The results showed that a) learning using the role models of national heroes was better than conventional learning in students' citizenship knowledge, b) learning using the role models of national heroes was better than conventional learning on student social responsibility attitudes, and c) learning using the role models of national heroes was better than conventional learning. Students acquire skills to gather information.

Abstract

Islamic schools make every effort to foster student personaliities according to the Qur’an through various programs, one of which is the Islamic Personal Development program. The purpose of this study was to analyze how to develop the personality of the Qur’an through the Islamic Personal Developmenr program at SMP IT Insan Cendekia Klaten. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Methods of data collection were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data by means of source triangulation was analyzed using the Interactivr Model of Miles and Huberman which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Results show the Islamic Personal Development Program at SMP IT Insan Cendekia Klaten, namely a) Planning, namely setting goals, teaching staff, curriculum, schedules and materials as well as grouping students, b) organizing namely by forming an organizational structure with its role. c) mobilization, namely activities included in curriculum and activities outside the curriculum, d) coaching, namely by holding official meetings every Saturday and recommendations for learning materials e) evaluation, namely using adab values in form of descriptions to parents and f) development, namely grouping students according to character child.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of providing additional income allowances and improving the performance of employees of the Communication and Information Office in Lamandau Regency. The method used is qualitative. The data were obtained using participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants are employees of the Department of Communication and Information in Lamandau Regency. To increase the validity of the data, check, recheck, and crosscheck methods were used, as well as prolonging the research time. The data obtained were analyzed using four stages, namely data collection, data classification, data filtering, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the provision of additional income allowances for employees of the Lamandau District Communication and Information Office is based on a valid law, namely Regent Regulation number 30 of 2019 concerning the provision of additional income allowances to civil servants within the Lamandau Regency Government. This matter has been communicated to all SKPD and received by all PNS Diskominfo Kab. Lamandau so that the factors that influence policy on resources are sufficient, on target and well implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to determine describing the management of school Principals, the inhibiting factors that hinder the principal and factors that support the principal on improving the professionalism of Akidah Akhlak teachers at MI Muhammadiyah Kartasura. This study used qualitative research methods. The research was conducted at MI Muhammadiyah Kartasura from September 2020 to March 2021. The subject of this research was the principal. The informants of this research were vice principals, classroom teachers and Akidah Akhlak teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and document analysis. While the data analysis technique of the researcher used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that: (1) Principal management on improving the professionalism of Akidah Akhlak teachers at MI Muhammadiyah Kartasura was carried out through several things including the principal acting as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, and motivator. Meanwhile, the professionalism of Akidah Akhlak teachers there is quite good, and they always attend various trainings and workshops. (2) The inhibiting factors for the principal are the lack of infrastructure, and the level of parental concern for students. (3) While the supporting factors for school principals in improving the professionalism of Akidah Akhlak teachers are the existence of a good teacher education background and fostering cooperation between teachers.

Abstract

The school environment, apart from being able to expand the world of children, can also be a place for bad psychic development that can interfere with children's development, one of which is violence between students or bullying. This study aims to determine the effect of parental education on student bullying behavior, determine the effect of student personality type on bullying behavior, and determine the effect of parental education and student personality on student bullying behavior in schools. The population of this study was 1,340 students with a sample of 303 students who were taken using simple random sampling technique. Data on parents' education, children's personality, and bullying behavior were collected using a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing using single regression and multiple regression. The results showed: 1) There was a relationship between parental education and bullying behavior with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, the contribution of parents' education was 55.0% with the regression equation Y = 75,773+8,963X1. 2) There is a relationship between the child's personality and bullying behavior with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The contribution of the child's personality is 83.9% with the regression equation Y = 20.298+1.123X2. 3) There is a significant relationship between parental education and children's personality with bullying behavior with a probability of 0.000 < 0.005. The contribution of these two variables is 87.4% with the regression equation Y' = 26,318+2,996 +0,924.

Abstract

Education is the primary driver of a nation's progress, as it aids in the development of strong characteristics, one of which is the improvement of student vocational skills. However, there has lately been a global epidemic, particularly Covid-19, which has disturbed global community mobility, even in the realm of higher education. Because the Indonesian government relies on technology to fund higher education, students must be proficient in information and communication technologies (ICT). This expertise is thought to have the ability to influence the development of occupational skills. The goal of this study was to see how mastering ICT affected students' vocational abilities. This study took place at Yogyakarta's Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. This is a quantitative research method that involves the distribution of questionnaires and the use of a Likert scale. A total of 100 students were used in this investigation. The findings revealed that mastering ICT has a positive impact on students at the State Islamic University of Yogyakarta's vocational capabilities. Students' mastery of ICT will be followed by the development of their occupational skills.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang abstrak. Banyak siswa yang menganggap matematika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit. Anggapan ini disebut dengan persepsi matematis siswa. Persepsi yang positif akan membawa pengaruh yang positif kepada diri peserta didik, begitupula sebaliknya, persepsi negatif akan memberikan dampak negatif bagi diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak persepsi tersebut terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitis dengan pengumpulan data secara online melalui google form. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA di wilayah Bantul. Kemudian, didapatkan hasil bahwa persepsi sangat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan matematis siswa. Persepsi negatif akan menyebabkan rasa kurang percaya diri dalam menghadapi matematika. Hal ini akan melemahkan semangat untuk belajar sehingga berakibat pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang rendah. Persepsi ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti materi dan guru.
