Abstract

Abstract Education is one of the decisive aspects in producing the nation's successor. This can be seen from science, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. Determining a student's major is not an easy thing, many parents and their own children do not know their interests and abilities. Determining a major is a process of focusing students on a particular field of concentration, this is done so that each individual can learn more in lessons that are in accordance with concentration and direct each individual to develop their abilities and interests. Majoring is expected to maximize every potential or talent possessed. SMK Multikarya is one of the schools in Medan city that has 8 majors, namely Multimedia, Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering, Computer and Network Engineering, Machining Engineering, Motorcycle Engineering and Business, Accounting and Institutional Finance, Software Engineering and Office Automation and Governance. Where every year SMK Multikarya always accepts 450 students. This results in the school always having difficulty in determining students who do not have a major. One way to make it easier to determine SMK majors is data mining with a comparison of the K-Means and X-Mean Clustering algorithms. In testing the k-means and x-means algorithms can produce the best K-Means algorithm because it produces the lowest value of 0.413 or 41%.

Abstract

The city of Batam is a city where immigrants are generally not native, day and night along the streets there are many people selling culinary delights, currently one of the things that is in great demand is durian which has many types such as durian in Bintan, Tanjung Batu, Medan, Padang, Palembang and Malaysia. The people of Batam, like those in general who live in Nongsa, Botania, Batam Center, Batu Aji, Tiban and Bengkong, buy durian from areas such as durian from Sumatra Island because there are many durian sellers on the side of the road day or night, but durian sellers in the Nagoya area generally sell durian from the Bintan, Ujung Batu and Malaysia areas with different prices from durian from Sumatra Island. With this, the author looks for manual results first and will match these results using the a priori algorithm method and assisted by RapidMiner software to ensure that the manual calculations carried out will get the same results using this software. The results of the calculations show that Musangking, Kampung, and 101 durian are the 3 types of durian that are very popular and liked by buyers at KimHui Batam Durian Shop.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a very dangerous disease. It is considered as one of the most serious threats to women's health. To treat breast cancer, surgery and chemotherapy are two common approaches. It is important to diagnose breast cancer early to minimize the severity and increase the chance of cure. This study aims to classify breast cancer diagnoses using Logistic Regression. The data used is secondary data downloaded from Kaggle.com totaling 569 records. The data is processed through encoding to change the data type into numeric. Data must also go through outlier handling to remove the same data or excess data that does not match the z-score requirements. Then the data that is ready to be processed is then divided into training and testing data with a ratio of 70%: 30%. This study produces an accuracy rate of 98% on the prediction of breast cancer patients after classification modeling and model testing using the confusion matrix method.

Abstract

Abstract A user interface display that is inappropriate or less user-friendly will result in users feeling uncomfortable, plus any problems that arise or errors occurring when using the application can make users potentially abandon the application they are using. This research aims to carry out usability testing on the M-Syariah mobile banking application, usability testing on an application is needed to identify problems with the interface and user experience so that recommendations for application improvements to increase user satisfaction can be made. Usability testing on the M-Syariah mobile banking application was carried out using the Heuristic Evaluation (HE) method. This HE method is based on 10 principles or aspects of usability according to Jacob Nielsen with a severity rating measurement scale. Measuring system usability in the M-Syariah mobile banking application using the HE method produces an average severity rating value of 1, namely the severity level is at the "Cosmetic Problem" level, from these findings the researcher then provides an improvement design as a recommendation that is in accordance with principles of heuristic evaluation and suggestions from respondents.

Abstract

The divisions that support the service production business continue to be developed, so as to provide more benefits for the organizers. One part that continues to be researched is the determination of suppliers of goods for production companies, because a good supplier will not only maximize cooperative relations, but also supply quality raw materials, as well as provide convenience in the process of importing goods. in the previous calculations the minimum support value that had been determined was 3.5%, so the researcher formed 1 itemset where the support value met the percentage in the category (accessories 5.8%), (cigarette 11.4%), (cooking ingredients 23.1%), (electronic 30.9%), (food 28.1%), (gagdet,46.6%), (healthy&beauty 12.4%), and y(kids&baby 4.2%) , in the formation of 2 itemsets where those containing A are combined with those containing item B which fulfill the percentages on (electronics, food 19.3%) , (gadgets, cooking ingredients 23.9%), (gagdet, electronics 37.6%) , and (gagdet, food 19.3%) in the formation of 3 itemsets with support (A,B,C) there is no item value that meets the minimum support value and for the minimum confidence value in this study 40% in the establishment of a rule or association of 2 itemsets that meet confidence (cigarettes, kids baby 52.6%), and (kids babies, accessories 47.6%), for the establishment of a 3 itemset association rule that meets the minimum confidence value (kids babies, electronics, accessories 47.6%), (kids baby, fozen food, accessories 47.6%), (food, gadgets, kids baby 95.2%), (kids baby, fozen food, cooking ingredients 47.6%).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze user sentiment towards two leading digital wallets in Indonesia, OVO and GoPay, using the Multivariate Bernoulli algorithm, a member of the Naive Bayes family effective in text classification. Data was collected from 1,070 user reviews through questionnaires distributed on social media and discussion forums, resulting in 915 sentiment data points after data cleaning. The preprocessing process included cleansing, case folding, tokenizing, normalization, filtering, and stemming to prepare the data for sentiment analysis. The study employed the K-Fold Cross Validation technique with 5 folds to test the model and obtain average accuracy, precision, and recall. The results showed that the Multivariate Bernoulli model performed well with an average accuracy of 86.20% for OVO and 83.15% for GoPay, with very high recall values indicating the model's ability to detect positive sentiment. The confusion matrix from each fold demonstrated consistent ability to identify positive cases. This study's findings are expected to provide recommendations for the development of OVO and GoPay digital wallet services based on user sentiment analysis.

Abstract

Utilization of Information Technology at the Sidoarjo Regency Environment and Hygiene Service has a positive impact on service progress. Computerized systems create a very important part of today's technological advances and ease of communication. For this reason, the author wants to develop a computer system that can facilitate the work of the Sidoarjo Regency Environment and Sanitation Service to meet the needs expected by the environmental service or the community for the Sidoarjo city's landscaping environment. The goal obtained from this urban park monitoring information system is that people do not need to come to the environmental service office to do reporting and complaints if there is a park in the Sidoarjo area that needs to be fixed. The technique used in this application is the waterfall method and uses the codeigniter framework. the result of user testing is 68% with the highest observation aspect, namely whether the city park monitoring information system makes it easier for people to mix about landscaping in the Sidoarjo area.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) for determining the location of hotel development on Samosir Island. This DSS is constructed using the Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method. The criteria used in this study include Distance (C1), Natural Beauty (C2), Cleanliness (C3), Transportation (C4), and Atmosphere (C5). The choice of MABAC as the method is made because it provides flexibility for decision-makers to specify preferences and consider variations in criteria. The ranking results from MABAC indicate the top three locations, namely LH04, LH03, and LH01. By implementing the DSS using the MABAC method, this system is expected to make a significant contribution to optimizing the selection of hotel development locations in Samosir. The findings of this research illustrate that the use of the DSS with the MABAC method can be relied upon as a guide in addressing the impact of sustainable hotel growth in crucial tourist destinations such as Samosir.

Abstract

This research aims to solve problems in inventory management of cholesterol-lowering herbal medicines at PT. Canaya Sirna Sentosa. Currently, the company is facing difficulties in procuring production materials due to irregular sales of herbal cholesterol medicines, causing inappropriate stock and resulting in losses. This research proposes a prediction system using the trend moment method to help companies manage inventory. This application allows input of product and sales data, as well as providing predicted results for the amount of herbal medicine inventory for a certain period. From the results of data processing obtained from 2018 to January 2023, the total data for sales forecasting/prediction is 42 bottles. The research results show that the trend moment method is effectively used as a prediction tool to reduce the error rate in determining the amount of herbal medicine inventory. This application system provides convenience and speed in data collection and can be a solution to overcome the problem of forecasting the amount of herbal medicine supplies in the future. The use of the trend moment method in this research can increase efficiency and accuracy in herbal medicine inventory management at PT. Canaya Sirna Sentosa, and can minimize losses due to inappropriate stock.

Abstract

This research develops a 3D adventure game application as a learning media to assist TK At-Taqwa students in recognizing and memorizing alphabet letters. Based on the concept that effective education starts at an early age, the application is designed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The research stages include observation, design, development, and application testing. Results show that the game is effective in enhancing students' ability to recognize and memorize alphabet letters, as evidenced by the User Acceptance Test (UAT) averaging 85.5%, rated "Very Good". With engaging interfaces, supportive background music, and challenging game levels, this application provides a fun and effective learning experience for early childhood education. Thus, the game serves as an effective alternative for alphabet learning in kindergartens, addressing challenges of boring learning methods and student motivation issues.
