Abstract

This study aims to investigate family support for compliance with pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. The method used in this research is systematic observation. The research results showed that out of 1,870 articles, 15 articles in this study found that the implementation of family support was not optimal in relation to four important points in family support such as support (informational, instrumental, emotional, and assessment). In conclusion, when the family always provides support in the form of information, emotions, appreciation, and also plays a role for tuberculosis patients, then this encouragement will influence their psychology, so that it will encourage them physically to take medication regularly and adopt a healthy lifestyle as an effort to achieve successful treatment. Apart from that, it is necessary to pay attention to policies, health programs, support for medical and paramedical personnel. Keywords: Family Support, Compliance, Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and treatment compliance with the asthma control test in asthma patients. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive correlational methods. The number of samples in this study that met the inclusion criteria was 44 patients at the North Sumatra University Hospital, Medan, with the sampling technique used was consecutive sampling. The instruments used in this research were self-efficacy instruments, medication adherence instruments namely MMAS-8 and Asthma control test measurements by (ACT) by the American Lung Association (ALA) questionnaire. Data analysis in this research consists of Univariate analysis and Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test. The research results showed that self-efficacy and the Asthma Control Test (ACT) obtained a value of p = 0.01 < 0.05 and the value of treatment compliance with the Asthma Control Test (ACT) obtained a value of p = 0.051 < 0.05. In conclusion, there is no significant relationship between self-efficacy and treatment compliance with the Asthma Control Test (ACT) in asthma patients. Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of antioxidant content on acyl ghrelin levels in obese subjects. This research method is a systematic literature review approach by searching for journal articles in the PubMed database. Inclusion criteria were articles published in the last 10 years using RCT methods on experimental animals and humans with obese nutritional status and providing Moringa leaf intervention. The research results showed that of 69 articles identified, only 7 articles met the inclusion criteria. The findings obtained indicate that the high antioxidant content of Moringa leaves has great potential as a functional food source and is beneficial for body health. The conclusion of the research is that the antioxidant content in Moringa leaves has an effect on obesity and still needs to be studied for its effect on acyl ghrelin. Abstract

This study aims to analyze cases of myasthenia gravis (MG) in pregnancy using the Roy Adaptation model approach. The research method used a case study approach with a case of a patient experiencing MG-weighted flaccid tetraparesis during pregnancy. The research results showed that the nursing care plan used the Roy adaptation model. The main needs found are nutrition (swallowing disorders), mobility (impaired physical mobility), sensation (acute pain) and protection (risk of infection). Interventions provided include self-care assistance: eating, exercise promotion: muscle strength, pain management and infection control. In conclusion, Roy's adaptation model approach is useful in this case because it focuses on the patient's ability to adapt to his illness. The patient had a disease that had been going on for years and had worsened due to her pregnancy. Providing appropriate nursing care can speed up patient recovery so that the length of stay is shorter. Keywords: Roy Adaptation, Nursing Care, Myasthenia Gravis
