Abstract

Decision of the design layout (plan layout) are important decisions that determine the production capacity of an operation in the long term and setting thelayout engine should be considered for the creation of effectiveness and efficiency when performing production so smooth production process will go smoothly, as for the purpose of this study is 1) to know the process of production of PT MKM Kabel, 2) to find out how the implementation of plant layout in PT MKM kabel, 3) pinpoint how important the implementation of the factory layout for a smooth production process at PT MKM Kabel. The analytical method used is a qualitative method. During the research data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Results of the study is the implementation of the plant layout to a smooth production process is very important in a company, the company has been using the layout engine, but in practice the layout engine at the company MKM Kabel has not been especially well can be seen between the distance from the machine strending tothe extruder is too far due to limited land in companies that do not allow it to be moved sehinggakan inhibit the production process and leakage problems that occur in the company should also be diperhatkan so that the production process runs smoothly and will be optimized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Cash Turnover and Receivable Turnover to Return On Asset in lq45 Companies Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2011-2016. Return On Asset is a ratio that reflects how much return the company receives in the form of profit on investments that have been invested in the company. The higher the return on assets the better the state of the company.The method used in this research is a quantitive method. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling, from the criteria that have been specified the sampel used as many as 7 companies and using secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange is Manufacturing Companies lq45 Period 2011-2016. The statistical test used is descriptive statistics test, classical assumption, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, hypothesis test, adan coefficient determination using SPSS V20 application program.From the partial test shows that the Cash Turnover has a significant negative effect to Return On Asset with a significant level 0.000 < 0.05. while the Receivable Turnover has a significant negative effect to Return On Asset with a significant level of 0.002 < 0.05. Simultaneously Cash Turnover and Receivable Turnover have a significant influence to Return On Asset with significant level 0.000 < 0.05 and coefficient of determination equal to 84%.Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that Cash Turnover and Receivable Turnover have significant effect to Return On Asset in lq45 Companies Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2011-2016. It is expected for the next research to be able to add the variables related to working capital and expand the different sample research in order to get better results.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is the work targets of employees that have not been achieved, the lack of employee interaction with one another in carrying out the tasks of superiors so that the work is less than optimal, the leader is less able to give birth to thoughts for future reach, the leadership lacks motivation for employees , because there are still some employees who are lazy and leave the task during working hours without prior information or permission, the number of problems of employees outside of work that result in lack of concentration in work.       This study uses an associative method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 120 employees at PT. Southeast Asia Pure Skin. Sampling using slovin formula with a sample size of 40 respondents.   The results of this study indicate that leadership style and motivation have a relationship to employee performance, while the contribution of leadership style and work motivation affects employee performance by 40% while the remaining 60% is influenced by other factors not examined by the authors. As for the t test (1) the influence of leadership style on employee performance at PT. Southeast Asia Pure Skin, based on the results of the t test with t count> t table that is (4.968> 2.026), and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is an influence between leadership style on employee performance, (2) the effect of work motivation on employee performance at PT. Southeast Asia Pure Skin, based on the results of the t test with T count> T table that is (2,460> 2,026), and a significant value of 0.019 <0.05, meaning that there is an influence between work motivation on employee performance. (3) leadership style and work motivation on employee performance based on the results of the f test with the results of the f count> f table that is (12,347> 3,244) with a significance value (0,000 <0,05) meaning that there is a significant influence between leadership style and work motivation simultaneously on employee performance.   There is a positive influence between leadership style on employee performance at PT. Southeast Asia pure skin, There is a positive influence between work motivation on employee performance at PT. Southeast Asia pure skin, leadership style and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Southeast Asia's pure skin.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information related to the possibility of whether job performance is influenced by motivation and job satisfaction. Using the causal study through a survey at the Secretariat of the Lebak Regency DPRD, Indonesia, for a sample of 69 employees, data for each variable was collected separately by respondents who filled out the questionnaire. Pathway techniques are applied to analyze data previously treated with regressive correlations and procedures. The results prove that employee performance is directly affected by work motivation and job satisfaction. The findings show that variations in job performance have been influenced by work motivation and job satisfaction in organizations. This further implies the need to consider the variables of job performance, work motivation, and job satisfaction in the strategic planning of human resource development in the Lebak Regency DPRD Secretariat under studied.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between price, advertising and Service on customer decision among the employees at Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Rangkasbitung. 100 customers selected as samples by using simple random sampling technique taken from the overall population of 134 customers. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the customer decision was positively affected by the price, advertising and service at Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Rangkasbitung, and the service was positively affected by the price and the advertising. The findings suggest that the variation of the customer decision of the customers might have been affected by the price, advertising and the Service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of autocratic leadership and work discipline on employee performance at the “ABC” City Tourism and Culture Office, either simultaneously or partially. In this research, the object to be studied is the “ABC” City Culture and Tourism Office. The scope of the study was to determine the extent of the influence of autocratic leadership and work discipline on the performance of employees at the “ABC” City Culture and Tourism Office, with a sample of 76 respondents. The results of the partial analysis of the relationship between autocratic leadership and performance are tcount 2.149 > 1.993 (ttable), so it can be concluded that autocratic leadership (X1) has a partial effect on performance (Y). The results of the partial analysis of the relationship between work discipline and performance are tcount 10.049 > 1.993 (ttable), so it can be concluded that work discipline (X2) has a partial effect on performance (Y). The results of the simultaneous analysis are Fcount 51.794 > 3.12 (Ftable), so it can be concluded that there is an influence between autocratic leadership (X1) and work discipline (X2) simultaneously on performance (Y).

Abstract

Purpose-This study seeks to draw on the theories of personality to investigate antecedents and outcomes of consumer coping in instances of service failure. Specifically, the authors focus on the effects of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy on three coping strategies – active, expressive, and denial. The authors further investigate the effects of coping strategies on consumer intention to complainDesign/methodology/approach – An online panel of 51 respondents representative of the Australian population participated in this study. Structural equation modelling was used to analyze data and test hypothesized relationships.Findings – Emotional intelligence has a positive association with active and expressive coping strategies but a negative relationship with denial. Expressive coping leads to greater complaining, whereas denial decreases it. Furthermore, consumer self-efficacy mediates the relationship between emotional intelligence and Active Coping strategy. In contrast, the effect of self-efficacy on expressive strategy is negative.Research limitations/implications – This study is the first step in investigating relationships between consumer emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and coping. The authors also investigate which coping strategies facilitate or hinder consumers’ decisions to complain. Future research should extend the model to incorporate service provider responses to gain a better understanding of the customer coping process in service failures.Originality/value – The paper contributes to the theory of consumer coping by bridging the current research gap and focusing on antecedents and outcomes of coping. This study advances knowledge of consumer coping by examining consumer emotional intelligence and self-efficacy as antecedents of coping strategies. Complaining behaviour is examined as an extension of coping strategies.

Abstract

Employee performance is very important for the success of a company as a whole so that business owners need employees who are able to complete work effectively for the creation of good performance, so we need performance support variables, namely the provision of compensation and motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on the performance of PT TELEFAST INDONESIA employees. Respondents in this study were all employees of PT TELEFAST INDONESIA.The method used by the author is a quantitative method. Sampling using incidental sampling method. Data collection using a questionnaire survey was carried out by going directly to the employees of PT TELEFAST INDONESIA Data obtained from 35 respondents from 40 questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS version 20. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis was the Classical Assumption Formula method, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Correlation Correlation, Determination, Regression Coefficient Test Simultaneously or Simultaneously (Test f) and Test Partial Regression Coefficient (t test).The results of these tests are known to calculate the value of compensation variable tcount 5.734> t table 1.689. and sig 0,000 <0.05 This shows that compensation has a positive effect on employee performance. While the motivation is known the value of the t-count of the motivation variable is obtained t-count 4.955> t table 1.689 and sig 0.000 <0.05, This means that motivation partially influences employee performance. The results of Fcount and Ftable it can be concluded that Fcount> Ftable (106.585> 3.27) thus H3 is accepted meaning that there is a simultaneous influence between the compensation, motivation and employee performance variablesFrom this description it can be concluded that partial compensation affects employee performance, motivation partially influences employees and simultaneously compensation and motivation affect employee performance of PT TELEFAST INDONESIA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Promotion Costs on Net Profit Margin in insurance sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange for the period 2009-2016. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statement data for each company that has been audited. The total population used in this study is 4 insurance companies, namely, Pt. ASBI, Pt. ASDM, Pt. ASRM, Pt. MREI. The sample selection was used in this researcher using a purposive sampling method so that the sample used was 32 corporate financial statement data. For independent variables, namely Promotion Costs, while for Net Profit Margin dependent. To test the hypothesis, it is used by using the t test of determination coefficient. The method used is analysis using simple linear regression analysis. While for data processing is done using the SPSS V. 20 program.The results of the study show that Promotion Costs significantly influence Net Profit Margin. What is intended by the value of t count <t table (-2,286> 2,042) significant value on the t test can be applied (0.029 <0.05). By showing the value of tcount> t table (-2,286> 2,042) and a significant value on the t test greater than the significant value set (0.029 <0.05). this means that partially promotion costs have a significant effect on Net Profit Margin. While the results of the test of determination coefficient show a value of 0.148 or 14.8% independent to explain the dependent variable is 0.148 or 14.8% while the remaining 85.2% is explained by other factors outside the research.
