The implementation of the 2013 curriculum led to several innovations in the learning process including using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the interests and learning outcomes of students after being treated with the PBL model assisted by teaching aids. This type of research is a pre-experimental study with a one-shot case study design. The research sample consisted of 14 students of MA Uswatun Hasanah Semarang. The data collection technique used a written test instrument and a student interest questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students analyzed by the N-gain test have increased with an N-gain coefficient of 0.21 which is included in the low criteria. The percentage of students' interest in learning obtained an average result of 81.786% so that it is categorized as very good. The results also showed that the use of the PBL model resulted in 85% completeness of the learning outcomes of the Circular Motion material so it could be concluded that the PBL model assisted by teaching aids had an influence on the learning outcomes of students.

Student-centered learning (SCL) is a learning approach that not only encourages to how student constructs their conceptual knowledge, but also to achieve the involvement of their knowledge in daily activity, in forms procedural and metacognitive knowledge. Flipped classroom learning models marked by reversed learning activities syntax between class and home, which promoted student to active self-learning, before turn into face to face class meeting. Problem Based Learning (PBL) model provides students to apply their knowledge to formulate strategy and solution in facing their problem. Flipped classroom or PBL, both are student-centered learning models that triggers student to self-constructed knowledge actively and student’s curiosity to solve their problem. This paper attempts to analyze the influence of integration flipped classroom and PBL on conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge on Linear Motion subject. This research is a quasi experimental model with post-test only control design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta in the 2019-2020 school year. The sample in this study were students of class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class X MIPA 2 as the control class. The sample was taken using cluster sampling technique. The results obtained showed that the percentage of conceptual, procedural and metacognitive knowledge of the experimental class was 88.9%; 77.8%; and 88.9% which is higher than the control class with the respective percentage 66.7%; 55.8%; and 75%. The integration of the flipped classroom and PBL models can be applied to materials other than Linear Motion to improve conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge.

This study aims to examine the effect of experimental method on student learning motivation and student learning outcomes on rectilinear motion material in grade X at MAN Kendal. This is a quantitative research with a sample of 34 students of class X MIPA 4 as an experimental group and 32 students of class X MIPA 2 as a control group. Data collection techniques using test, questionare, observation, interview, and documentation. The experimental class is given learning using experimental methods and control classes using conventional methods. The hypothesis was tested using t test and simple linear regression. The results of hypothesis test show that learning motivation of the experimental class students is higher than the control class and learning outcomes of the experimental class are better than the control class. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was a correlation between the experimental method of student motivation and learning outcomes.

The Covid-19 pandemic and government regulations regarding the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia have caused face-to-face learning activities not to be fully implemented. One way to be used as an alternative is through blended learning, which combines online and offline learning activities. This study aims to test vocational students' learning outcomes through blended learning with practicum methods. The population of this study was all students of class XI TKJ of SMK Negeri 1 Liwa, and the samples selected by purposive sampling technique were students of class X-TKJ1 as the control class and students of X-TKJ2 as the experimental class. This study used a pretest-posttest control group design. The two sample classes were given a pretest and posttest, which were then analyzed to determine the N-gain for each class. The results showed differences in student learning outcomes in the experimental and control classes with N-gains, respectively, 0.72 and 0.40. The analysis results showed that the average increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that blended learning with practicum methods can improve student learning outcomes.

Research has been conducted aiming to determine the distribution of coal below the surface in Tulungagung Regency. The survey conducted in this study used a Wenner configuration resistivity geoelectric survey. Retrieval of geolithic resistivity data in the field of four trajectories. The results of data collection in the field oneach track are processed using 2D modeling in Res2dinv software. The results of the processing of the two-dimensional modeling are then interpreted. The structure of rock layers containing coal is shown by a yellow, red to dark purple scheme with a resistivity value of 75-350 ohm meters on the inside varying from 0 meters to 6.91 meters below the surface, spreading erratically and patching on each track.

Research has been carried out using gravity methods to identify subsurface structures in the region of Kota Lama Semarang as a preliminary survey for disaster mitigation purposes. In processing gravity data to identify subsurface structures, several processing stages are carried out. The initial step is to make the initial correction in the form of tide correction and float correction then a further correction is performed until a complete Bouguer anomaly contour is obtained. From the complete Bouguer anomaly, regional and residual gravity anomalies can be separated. The separation of regional anomalies from Bouguer anomalies in this study uses the moving average method while residual anomalies are obtained by subtracting Bouguer anomalies from regional anomalies. In the study of identification of subsurface structures it is important to conduct regional and residual anomaly separations to interpret geological structures and obtain the targets sought. Regional anomaly values in the region of Kota Lama Semarang are between 28.0 mGal - 28.4 mGal while for residual anomalies have between 31.6 mGal - 32.8 mGal.

The implementation of nodule shape characteristics is one of the parameters used in determining breast cancer malignancy. Mathematical calculations are used as a second decision to strengthen radiologists in determining breast cancer malignancy using ultrasound images (USG). The method used in this research is to filter ultrasound images that contain speckle noise, then continue the segmentation process, extracting shape features, selecting shape features, and classifying them. The feature selection process using Correlated based Feature Selection (CFS) is used to select the dominant shape features in the image. The classification results obtained show that the results of feature selection using CFS can improve the results of image accuracy, sensitivity and specificity, so as to be able to better distinguish the characteristic shape of the cancer nodule.
