Abstract

Finding a job for university graduates is becoming increasingly difficult, and the number of job opportunities available is not proportional to the number of graduates or new labor supply at all levels of education. This condition requires students to think more imaginatively in order to find opportunities and avoid unemployment, because the more developed a country is, the more educated its people are, and the greater the need for entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to analyze and provide evidence that there are crucial elements that influence students' entrepreneurial intentions. This literature review article develops a conceptual framework on college students' entrepreneurial intention based on the constructs of entrepreneurship education, peers, mindset, self-efficacy, creativity, attitude towards entrepreneurship, social media, entrepreneurial culture, and motivation are the elements that influence college students' entrepreneurial intention. According to the literature review, the nine latent constructs can be a benchmark for students in creating entrepreneurial intention. This study's research methodology and accompanying arguments can help advance the discussion in the subject of business management and administration. This research has important implications for future studies that use quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the formation of national character and civilization, as emphasized by Ki Hajar Dewantara (KHD) that education is a place to sow the seeds of culture (Dewantara, 1961). This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The qualitative approach was chosen because it aims to gain a deep and descriptive understanding of the process of internalizing Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational values in the specific context of the Tujuh Poe Atikan Purwakarta program at SDN Babakansari. The case study was applied to focus the study on one location and a unique program intensively, thus producing rich and comprehensive data. The process of internalizing Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational values in the Seven Poe Atikan Purwakarta thematic activity at SDN Babakansari was carried out through the harmonization of the role of teachers as Pamong who implemented the trilogy Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso, and Tut Wuri Handayani in every daily theme, starting from instilling a nationalist attitude (Ajeg Nusantara) to spirituality (Nyucikeun Diri). This program provides a space for Independent Learning (Merdeka Belajar), which is directed at fostering character development based on local Sundanese wisdom. Despite challenges in consistent implementation, this thematic program has succeeded in becoming a contextual and sustainable medium for guiding students to achieve the life skills and noble character envisioned by Ki Hajar Dewantara.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the understanding that basic education plays a crucial role in forming the foundation of students’ personality, character, and life skills. One important character aspect that must be developed from an early age is independence. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The qualitative method was chosen because the aim is to examine comprehensively and in depth the implementation of educational philosophy in real field contexts. Descriptive research seeks to systematically and accurately describe the facts and characteristics of the object under study. Through this approach, researchers are able to understand the meanings, processes, and experiences of the subjects involved in the implementation of the Montessori approach. The research was conducted at SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta. The research subjects were focused on students in Phase A, B, and C (equivalent to grades 1 through 6). In addition to students, key informants included the school principal, teachers, and parent representatives. Overall, the study concludes that the implementation of Montessori philosophy at SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta is carried out partially yet consistently and has a significant positive influence on the development of children’s independence in Phases A, B, and C. Although the implementation does not fully adhere to pure Montessori standards, the adaptations made produce relevant, measurable outcomes that align with students’ developmental needs. The integration of Montessori values with Islamic values has been proven to be mutually supportive and not contradictory.

Abstract

Physical education, health, and sports is one of the most important subjects in enhancing students’ physical, mental, and social abilities. The learning approach applied in this study is constructivist learning theory, which emphasizes the construction of knowledge by students through experience and reflection. Education should not merely focus on the transmission of knowledge from teachers to students, but should also develop students’ abilities to think critically, solve problems, and innovate. This study employs a qualitative research design with a constructivist approach. It aims to develop creative and innovative students through physical education, health, and sports learning at SMP Negeri 3 Cibatu, Purwakarta. The research design uses a classroom action research model. The results show that the critical thinking ability of students in the experimental group was 82.3, while that of the control group was 71.5. This indicates that students who participated in physical education, health, and sports learning using constructivist theory demonstrated better critical thinking skills than students who did not participate in constructivist-based physical education, health, and sports learning.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed adolescents’ patterns of interaction and given rise to various violations of digital ethics, such as cyberbullying, the spread of hoaxes, and negative online postings. Consequently, schools need to develop character education that aligns with the demands of the times. This study aims to analyze the reinterpretation of Tamansiswa teachings, particularly Tri Karsa, in fostering digital ethics; to describe the mechanisms for handling violations at SMPN 2 Campaka; to identify challenges in implementing a restorative–pedagogical approach; and to evaluate students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of case handling. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. The findings indicate that Tri Karsa is interpreted as critical digital literacy, digital empathy, and digital moral responsibility, while case handling prioritizes dialogue, mediation, and character development, although it is not yet supported by specific standard operating procedures. Several obstacles were identified, including limited teachers’ digital competence, resistance from Generation Z/Alpha students, minimal parental involvement, and limited ICT facilities. Nevertheless, students perceive the handling mechanisms as fairly just, educational, and having a positive impact on digital behavior. This study affirms the relevance of Tamansiswa values as a foundation for developing a Tamansiswa-based Digital Character Education Model to strengthen humanistic and contextual character education in the digital era.
