Abstract

The research includes the type of survey research whose information is collected through questionnaires from respondents. The population of the study is the consumers who make purchasing decisions on beauty products Wardah. The sample of research is 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires tested the validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used to answer the hypothesis of research is multiple linear regression. The result of this research shows that Brand Awareness has negative and insignificant effect on Wardah Beauty Decision, Brand Characteristic has a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decision of Wardah beauty product, Emotional Branding has a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decision of Wardah, Brand Awareness, Brand Characteristic, and Emotional Branding together have a positive and significant influence on Purchase Decision Wardah beauty products On STIE Kesatuan Bogor Students.

Abstract

PT Multistrada Arah Sarana, is one of the companies from Indonesia whose products have met the needs of both domestic and overseas. However, in the past 5 years, the company which is often abbreviated as MASA has experienced a decline in sales which has an impact on Indonesia's economic condition. This study is intended to look at what factors cause a decline of the MASA company by looking at the data within a period of 5 years. Based on the Z-score analysis for the years 2012-2016 obtained a result of 1.80, meaning that it is predicted that MASA has the risk of bankruptcy for some future periods.

Abstract

Based on the research, it is concluded that there is one factor that has a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision variable. The factor is the Consumer Involvement Dimension variable (X2). With the acquisition of t-count is greater than t - table that is equal to 6.012> 1.660. Then through the F test indicates that there is a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decision with the acquisition of a bigger f - count than the f - table of (83.865> 3.783). With r square value equal to 72,4% which means independent variable of demography characteristic, consumer engagement dimension, and purchasing decision have positive effect, meaning every increase of demographic characteristic variable, dimension of consumer involvement, and purchasing decision one-unit hence variable purchase decision will increased by 3,009 and the rest of 27,6% influenced by other variable not examined in this research

Abstract

Based on the results of hypothesis test (t-test) variable Net Interset Margin (NIM) shows the value of significance 0.008> 0.05. This means that is rejected and is accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is no significant influence between Net Interset Margin (NIM) to Non Performing Loan (NPL). Based on the results of hypothesis test (t-test) variable Operational Cost Operating Income (BOPO) showed significant value of 0.001 <0.05. This means that is rejected and accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is significant influence between Operational Income Operating Cost (BOPO) to Non Performing Loan (NPL). Based on the results of research simultaneously, it can be concluded that the significant value of 0.003 less than 0.05, and the value of 7.136 which is greater than the 3.350, indicates that is rejected and is accepted, so it can be concluded that the NIM, BOPO variables together have a significant influence on the NPL.

Abstract

In effort to prevent HIV/AIDS, condom is an alternative to prevent HIV transmission from sexual relations. As a prevention tool, condom has not been 100% safe yet. Moreover, there is a controversial information about porous condom.In marketing the product, that is condom, particularly for high risk group, Himpunan Abiasa applys social marketing strategy. In addition to knowing which marketing strategy is applied, the author can find out the volume of Kondom Sutra sales marketed via social marketing during the period 2009 – 2010. The research method used is Descriptive Analysis and SWOT Analysis. Data utilized are primary data and secondary data: looking for and collecting data from Himpunan Abiasa, NAC (National AIDS Commision), company profile, books, and literatures related to the study; besides that, by interviewing four experts having competence in their field. By using SWOT analysis, the researcher gets internal matrix score : 2626 and external matrix score : 2677. It shows that the company has growth and stabilization, the company keeps be able to maintain existing business in continuity. This writing is a form of acknowledgement and appreciation to the company on what it has been applied. Besides that, the author gets benefit by the fact that he can enlarge knowledge concerning the application of social marketing as a strategy of HIV-AIDS prevention program. Abstract

Layout of a store is very influential to customers’ convenience in shopping. Store layout is defined as setting the selling and non-selling, path, display shelf, placement of goods and tools connected each other that unite in a structure.This study is done to find out and get a clear picture concerning the effect of grid line layout to customers’ satisfaction of foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor. This study is also to know the average value and the relationship closeness between grid line layout and customers’ satisfaction at Foodmart Ekalokasari bogor. The result of this research shows that customers’ perception on grid line layout at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor nowadays is good; by using average analysis (performance – importance), it’s gotten the performance average value is 4223. While the importance average value is 4132 where the table of scale range of average analysis is good. Based on the research conducted, it can be known that grid line layout contributes 42,9% to customers’ satisfaction at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that grid line layout at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor has influence towards cutomers’ satisfaction. This can be proved based on the contribution of grid line layout towards customers’ satisfaction at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor. Keywords: grid line layout; customers’ satisfaction, retailers

Abstract

Assets management is an ability of a company in managing all of its assets that take a leading role in a company’s operation and it can be expected to create benefit. The assets management will be able to show that the company is capable to control its performance efficiently and effectively. The objective of this study is to find out the influence of assets management (X) – utilizing indicators: TATO, FATO, and WCTO – to the company’s financial performance (Y) by indicator-OPM. This study was done at two manufacturing companies, PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. and Astra International Tbk., in the period 2005 – 2010. To test the significance of the influence of assets management to the financial performance of the two companies, the author analyzes and measures the correlation and influence between the variables in this study, using correlation coefficient (r) and determination coefficient (r square) and regression coefficient (β). Based on the result of this study it can be found out that the assets management of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. and PT Astra International Tbk. by indicator-TATO has significant influence to OPM. By indicator-FATO, the assets management does not have significant influence to OPM. Assets management by indicator-WCTO does not have significant influence to OPM. The significant level is set at 0,10 or 10%. This insignificance of FATO and WCTO to OPM is due to the financial performance is financed by its total assets. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the direct or indirect effect of rupiah exchange rate and inflation on net export. The method used for this research is path analysis method. The independent variable is exchange rate and inflation, while the dependent variable is net export. The intervening variable is gross domestic product (GDP) deflator and foreign exchange reserve. Based on the result of this research, it can be found out the direct effect of exchange rate on foreign exchange reserve and the direct effect of foreign exchange on net export. In another side, there are direct effect of inflation to PDB deflator and PDB deflator to net export. The conclusion yielded shows that there are indirect effect of exchange rate and inflation to net export. Keywords: exchange rate; inflation; GDP deflator; foreign exchange; net export

Abstract

Stock is an investment instrument which is prefered at the present. Basically, the purpose of investing in stock field is to get capital gain or investment rate return at high stage. Financial performance is a standard to find out the condition of a company based on its annual financial statement. Financial condition can be taken note of by making use of financial ratio analysis. The author utilizes Earning per Share, Return on Assets, and Operating Profit Margin to know the financial performance. The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of financial performance on stock price. The author knows the financial performance from EPS (X1), ROA (X2), and OPM (X3) of Stock Price (Y). EPS, ROA, and OPM are taken by the author from performance summary originated in IDX. The research was conducted during the period 2006 through 2010 by taking samples at PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. and PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk engaged in basic industry, that is cement industry. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that just Operating Profit Margin Ratio at PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa has significant effect on stock price, whereas Return on Equity and Earning per Share at the same company do not have significant effect on stoc price. Earning per Share, Return on Equity, and Operating Profit Margin at PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. do not have ignificant effect. Therefore, it can be concluded that there are external factors influencing stock price at PT Indocement Tunggal prakarsa Tbk. and PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. The example is global crisis 2008 originated in The United States presented impact on cement industry; the stock price of cement industry decreased then. Abstract

Dividend amount is distribution of profit yielded by a company to the shareholders. The amount of dividend influences the amount of profit at the company.The objective of this research is to find out the amount of dividend distributed, how much profit is generated, and the influence of dividend and profit amount. The indicators are the dividend amount utilizes dividend in equity change statement and dividend per share (DPS), and the profit amount makes use of net profit in profit and loss statement and net profit margin (NPM). The data used are two companies running on the same consumers during six years – 2005 up to and including 2010.The method used is ratio dividend, to find out how much the dividend distributed and the profit ratio are, to know how much the profit earned by the company will be, and to detect the correlation between the two variables above. They have been processed utilizing SPSS 17.0. Based on the research yield, it can be concluded that the two companies have different correlation fact. There is positive correlation between dividend amount and profit amount at PT Mayora Indah Tbk., the dividend increase is followed by the profit increase due to the external factor, that is the debt has been empowered efficiently. The other way, there is negative correlation between dividend amount and profit amount at PT Delta Djakarta, that is the dividend increase does not followed by the profit increase due to the debt has not been empowered efficiently.
