Abstract

This study aims to explore the practice of jama'ah al-Khidmah towards shalawat al-Husainiyyah. There is ana interesting phenomenon, starting pocketing, reading and understanding the content of shalawat al-Husainiyyah. The shalawat contains 30 different themes along with verses from Alqur’an, whether the verses are whole or truncated and such verses are legal because as an interpretation of verses with verses of the mawdu'i al-Wajiz type or reading the Qur'an as practiced by Bilal ra. But still follow the rool of waqaf- ibtida'. The discussion is the basis of the text for placing these verses, the impact of practice and the practices of jama'ah al-Khidmah as representative of the values in shalawat al-Husainiyyah. The method used is the living Qur'an with a psychospiritual approach. The results of this study: impact of practice on the basis of exchatological and practical performative suggestions is facilitating sustenance, calming the heart, finding solutions, beautifying morals and behavior, the requested and expected wishes can be fulfilled, protected from shame and shortcomings, and elevated in rank, and recognized as a student of Syaikh Achmad Asrori al-Ishaqi. There are also those who practice and understand the content of shalawat al-Husainiyyah which has a bigger and better impact, because the Qur'an is a guide to life based on the stages of cognition, internalization and affirmation through the interpretation of shalawat al-Husainiyyah and an informative representative of shalawat al-Husainiyyah on the practices of the al-Khidmah congregation, including lots of dhikr and praying after fardhu prayers according to al-Ishaqi's demands, increasing blessings on the Prophet Muhammad, especially in the month of Ramadan, following the Dzikr Assembly organized by the Jama'ah al-Khidmah Management so that we can dzikr and pray together.

Abstract

Human social life is inseparable from the influence of religious values that shape ways of thinking, behavior, and interpersonal relationships within society. This study aims to analyze how religion contributes to the formation of social ethics, collective identity, and cohesion in a pluralistic society. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research relies on document analysis and direct observation of religious-social practices in both urban and semi-urban communities. The findings reveal that religion plays a central role as a source of moral values, a foundation for social solidarity, and a bridge for intergroup communication. However, when interpreted narrowly and exclusively, religion also holds the potential to trigger social segregation. Therefore, an inclusive and humanistic understanding of religion is essential to ensure that its social functions remain relevant in promoting harmony and social justice.

Abstract

The emergence of various expressions of religious activities that have grown in the midst of urban life can be interpreted as a form of increased religiosity in the new model movement. When viewed from the perspective of the current phenomenon of urban Sufism, it is clear that there are majelis dzikir (prayer gatherings) developing in every corner of the city. These gatherings are activities organised by a group of young people and teenagers popularly known as the Ukhsafi Copler Community (UCC). The purpose of this study is to explore and reveal the socio-spiritual phenomena in the important role of UCC activities in relation to the problems of Neo-Urban Sufism among young people and teenagers in the city of Surabaya. The research method used in this study is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, which is the science of the development of human consciousness and self-awareness. The technique used to determine the informants in this study was purposive, whereby the researcher selected various subjects based on specific reasons. This study found negative symptoms, attitudes and behaviours among young people and teenagers, including criminal acts and juvenile delinquency. The formulation of the problem regarding the origins and definition, characteristics of the UUC and its various activities was an important part of this study. The socio-spiritual movement in the activities carried out by the Ukhsafi Copler Community can have a very positive and significant impact, which is noted in the conclusions of this study.

Abstract

This research examines the formulation of the halālan ṭayyiban food concept through tafsir ishārī (allusive interpretation) as initiated by Ibn `Ajībah. This qualitative study utilizes a library research approach. To achieve the research objectives, the analytical method employed is descriptive-analytical. In terms of theory, this research applies the theory proposed by al-Farmawī. The findings of this study are: firstly, a distinction is found between the apparent meaning of ḥalālan ṭayyiban as physical food and ḥalālan ṭayyiban as ishārī food, which refers to the immaterial nourishment of the human spirit or soul. Secondly, to obtain ḥalālan ṭayyiban spiritual food, one must undergo processes of zuhud (asceticism), wara' (piety/scrupulousness), riyāḍah (spiritual exercise), and mujāhadah (struggle against one's ego). Thirdly, the ḥalālan ṭayyiban nourishment for the human spirit and soul is attained through al-tafakkur (contemplation), al-istibṣār (insight), and al-shuhūd al-‘Iyān (direct witnessing). Fourthly, in order to maintain the spiritual food pattern for the human soul, one must pass through the stages of zuhud, wara', riyāḍah, and mujāhadah. The purpose of maintaining this food pattern is to achieve spiritual health through specific "maqam-maqam" (spiritual stations).

Abstract

Islamic theology, also known as ‘Ilm al-Kalām, ' constitutes a fundamental branch of Islamic sciences. Although traditionally classified as a classical discipline, its discourses continue to evolve in response to contemporary developments. This study aims to examine the theological thought of KH. Ali Maksum, a prominent Indonesian Muslim scholar, as presented in his work Hujjah Ahlisunnah wal Jamaah, and to analyze it through a hermeneutical lens. Employing a qualitative methodology with a library research approach, this study primarily utilizes Hujjah Ahlisunnah wal Jamaah as its primary source. The data is analyzed using Friedrich Schleiermacher’s hermeneutic theory. The findings reveal that KH. Ali Maksum represents a Nusantara scholar with original contributions to Islamic theology. The hermeneutical analysis indicates that Hujjah Ahlisunnah wal Jamaah was composed as a defence of religious practices upheld by Sunni Muslims, particularly those affiliated with the Nahdlatul Ulama organization. In this work, KH. Ali Maksum expands theological discourse beyond doctrinal matters (ʿaqīdah) to include jurisprudence (fiqh) and mysticism (taṣawwuf). The text serves as an intellectual and religious response from KH. Ali Maksum, as a pesantren leader and Rais ‘Aam of PBNU, affirms the continuity and legitimacy of the Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah tradition embraced by most Indonesian Muslims.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى: (1) معرفة وصف مواد علم الدلالة العربية المستمدة من الآيات القرآنية في منظور المدخل الإستقرائي في جامعة دار اللغة والدعوة (2) معرفة فعالية مواد علم الدلالة المستمدة من الآيات القرآنية في منظور المدخل الإستقرائي نحو طلبة جامعة دار اللغة والدعوة حتى يتسنى لهم القدرة عليها. المدخا المستخدم في هذا البحث هو مدخل التطوير لبورج وغالBorg&Gall) ) بالتصرف، الذي يحتوي على الخطوات الأتية، وهي: الدراسة المبدئية، وتخطيط المنتج، وتطوير المنتج، وتصديق المنتج، والتعديل الأول، والتجربة الميدانية، وإنتاج النموذج. وأساليب جمع البيانات المستخدمة هي الملاحظة والمقابلة والاستبيان والاختبار.أما نتائج البحث فهي: 1) تم إعداد الكتاب التعليمي على الدراسة المبدئية وتحليل الاحتياجات التي قام بها الباحث لمعرفة مشكلات تعليم اللغة العربية في المستوى الجامعي في مادة علم الدلالة العربية المستمدة من الآيات القرآنية في منظور المدخل الإستقرائي بجامعة دار اللغة والدعوة بانقيل جاوى الشرقية.2) تبيّن نتيجة تصديق الخبراء وتقييمهم على صلاحية الكتاب التعليمي بالتقدير جيد جدا أو 90% وذلك بعد التحليل على المنهج الدراسي وتحديد المواضيع التعليمية واحتياجات متطلبات الطلبة حيث أن معدل نتائج الاختبار البعدي = 94.3750 أكبر وأكثر من معدل نتائج الاختبار القبلي = 83.1250 وهذا يدل على أن استخدام الكتاب التعليمي فعال. وأيضا أن نتيجة اختبار "t" = 3,82 أكبر من " t table = 1,75.،فاتضح اتضاحا جليا أن استخدام الكتاب التعليمي فعال. والنتيجة الجوهرية التي حصل عليها الباحث أنّ الكتاب التعليمي في مادة علم الدلالة العربية الذي يقدّم بطريقة المدخل الإستقرائي المستمدة من الآيات القرآنية لدى طلبة جامعة دار اللغة والدعوة فعّال.

Abstract

Ibn Taimiyyah is known as give acute criticism to behavior and thought of popular Sufism which considered contrary with Qur'an and al-Hadith. But the true one, Ibn Taimiyyah did not attack all precepts Sufi, and he still acknowledged the existence of Sufism itself. Thus, Ibn Taimiyyah certainly admit the validity experimental method of Sufism, but he suggested that Sufism also use external validity to test the truth of concept. External validity that mean is precept that exists in Islamic. This research is literature. The data unearthed in this study is the thoughts and views in the opus of Ibn Taimiyyah as the object of this research. The result of this study is Ibn Taimiyyah's view about Sufism reveals that Sufism is an extension of the Islamic religion which normatively must be derived from Qur'an and Sunnah also historically applicative should revert to example of companions. Some of ibn Taimiyyah's writings talk about deeply Sufism are already covered in the classical book Majmu' al-Fatawa which is a collection writings from Ibn Taimiyyah.

Abstract

Indonesia's diversity includes religion, ethnicity, tradition, and culture. Various traditions carried out by society circle. Nyadran’s tradition is one of example form local wisdom that still preserved by javanese people. This tradition proven to be in multiple regions toward month of Ramadan, the ritual widely carried out. Nyadran underwent acculturation process in the Walisongo era, from Hindu-Buddhist culture to islamic traditions. However, the appearance of sense conservatism in society make minder thinking to preserve the nation's culture. Nyadran is considered out from Islamic religion and impressed heretics. This research aims to remove the understanding of conservatism and inferiority among society by discussing the values of Sufism contained in the nyadran’s tradition. The practice form of these values can be seen from concrete of social Sufism in society, aslo their closeness to God. This research form of qualitative research with a literary approach. The author found, in nyadran’s practice, not only social dimensions with human, and nature, but also with God. This dynamic is very appropriate as a method of missionary endeavor and the development of Sufism as one of the vehicles to create the intimacy of life. Through this approach, Walisongo be able to change the practice of Sufism that nuance mystical change with Islamic and rational version. The form of this tradition still same as the beginning, but prayers are replaced with the phrase tayibah, tahlil, tahmid, and others.

Abstract

Hijrah which interpreted to move, now become a new role model in society. Hijrah often interpreted as the process of moving from behavior haven’t accordance with sharia to behavior as accordance with sharia. This is shown by lifestyle, especially in terms of dress. Now hijrah glow not more than a symbol, but poor ethics. Whereas the meaning of hijrah is not as narrow as today, because basically, hijrah always talked about inner displacement in this era, has a different term with Prophet Muhammad’s era who was more dominant in moving physically. But that doesn't change the meaning of Hijrah itself. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Here, tasawuf comes as a continuous scientific integrity. Sufi teachings as the roots of moderate Islam. Through ethics according perspective sufi, hijrah that undergoes a shift meaning can be actualized through uzlah, muraqobah, musabahah, raja'. Thus, the meaning of hijrah today can be moved, both physically and mentally, so that hijrah is not just a symbolization

Abstract

Islamic ethics in the life of the millennial generation is considered to be something important to apply. Advances in technology and open access to information make modernization unavoidable. Therefore, Islamic ethics is considered a shield for the millennial generation in carrying out their actions in everyday life. Strengthening Islamic ethics is also what the IICP (International Islamic Class Program) program for junior high school level at Pondok Pesantren Puncak Darussalam Patoan Daya Pamekasan, Madura is trying to implement. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the aim of knowing how Islamic ethics is applied in the IICP program (International Islamic Class Program) at Ponpes Puncak Darussalam by using document study methods, observation, and interviews with several informants so that data triangulation can then be carried out to produce valid data. The results of the study show that Islamic ethics in the IICP program for SMP Ponpes Puncak Darussalam has been implemented well. The support from the caregiver, namely Kyai Abdul Hannan Tibyan and the ustadz as well as several activities aimed at cultivating the morality of the students, are expected to be the first step to creating Islamic ethics in the IICP program environment at the junior high school level considering that this program is a program that is expected to be a program international standard. However, in the implementation of the application of Islamic ethics in the IICP program, several obstacles were found so that more support was needed from caregivers, ustadz, and from within the students themselves to get used to doing commendable morals and avoiding despicable morals in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith.
