Background: Women as housewives and breadwinners are expected to have a balance at work and be able to fulfill their roles as wives and breadwinners. Objective: This study aims to determine the correlation between burnout and work-life balance in female teachers in Kota Bangun Sub-district. Method: This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 63 female teachers in Kota Bangun Subdistrict who were selected using nonprobability sampling technique. The data collection method used was the work-life balance and burnout scale. The data analysis technique used was the Kendall Tau correlation test. The collected data were analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science version 26.0 for windows program. Results: The results showed that the r value was -0.415 and the sig value was 0.000 (p<0.05) which means that there is a significant correlation with a moderate category between burnout and work-life balance in female teachers in Kota Bangun District. Conclusion: As for this study, the correlation that occurs in the direction of a negative correlation, which means that the lower the burnout, the higher the work-life balance and vice versa, the higher the burnout, the lower the work-life balance.

Background: Smoking is something that students do, especially when they are stressed. People's stress levels have been linked to more intense smoking. Objective: to ascertain the function of self-control as a moderating factor in the impact of stress on smoking intensity among college students. Method: The present investigation employs quantitative methodologies. The study sample consisted of 224 students residing in Makassar City who reported smoking. Result: The findings of the initial hypothesis examination indicated that the observed p-value was 0.035 (p < 0.05), and the correlation coefficient was 0.631. The obtained R-square score of 0.443 suggests that stress accounts for 44.3% of the variance in smoking intensity and exerts a statistically significant positive influence on it. The findings from the second hypothesis test utilizing MRA analysis indicated an interaction value of -0.015. Conclusion: The interaction value shows a negative value, which means that the higher the self-control, the smaller the influence of stress on smoking intensity, and vice versa. The results of this research can be used by universities, counselors, and therapists who are involved in the intervention process to reduce and stop smoking addiction so that they can develop intervention programs that emphasize the importance of increasing students' self-control.

Background: Students who study and work face many daily challenges such as time constraints, work and study pressures, and busy schedules that can cause stress and interfere with individual mental health. Resilience is a factor that plays an important role so that individuals can survive in overcoming problems and adapting to stressful situations. Objective: This study examines whether there is an influence of character strength on resilience in working students. Method: This type of research is quantitative with simple regression analysis that measures the magnitude of the influence between the dependent variable and the independent variable. Total respondents were 149 working students in Yogyakarta Province. Results: Character strength variables can be used as predictors of academic resilience variables. The R square value of 0.163 indicates that 16.3% of the Character strength variable can predict the level of academic resilience in the subject. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between Character strength and resilience in working students. The relationship between the two variables is positive, which means that if the Character strength in students is positive, the resilience is high, otherwise if the student's Character strength is negative, the resilience is low.

Background: Teachers' subjective well-being is influenced by the environment and situation within the organization. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational climate, age and length of service on subjective well-being of teachers at Private Junior High School X in Surabaya. Method: The study used a quantitative correlational-predictive approach. The sample of the study was 40 teachers at Private Junior High School X in Surabaya. The researcher developed a Likert scale to measure subjective well-being based on Diener (1984, 1993) and organizational climate based on Litwin and Stringer (1965). Result: Logical validity testing was carried out by expert opinion for both scales. On the subjective well-being scale, the r value ranged from 0.273 - 0.66 and the cronbach alpha reliability coefficient = 0.865. On the r value scale, the r value ranged from 0.804 - 0.825 while the coefficient was 0.822 reliability. F = 15.204 and p = 0.001 < 0.05 indicate that the regression equation model Y = 42.591 + 0.598.X1 + 0.643.X2 + 1.055.X3 is a goodness of fit to predict subjective well-being through organizational climate, age and tenure. Conclution: R² = 0.559, indicates that 55.9% of the subjective well-being variance can be explained simultaneously by changes in organizational climate, age and tenure while 44.1% is explained by other variables. The results of the study also show that partially organizational climate, age and tenure have a positive and significant effect on subjective well-being.

Background: Customs employees are faced with various unique and complex challenges, especially regulations that require employees to undergo regular job transfers which can trigger stress. So far there has been no special psychological support program provided for employees who will transfer jobs. Various studies show that social support has an effective effect on stress. Objective: This research seeks to reveal the effectiveness of social support psychoeducation to reduce the stress level of employees undergoing job transfers. Method: This research uses a quasi-experiment design with a non-randomized one group pre-test post-test design. The number of participants in this research was 15 employees consisting of Gresik Customs and Excise who were aged between 22 - 30 years and were about to undergo a job transfer. Stress levels were measured using the Perceived Stress Scale and analyzed using the paired sample t-test. Results: Research shows that social support psychoeducation is effective in reducing the stress level of employees undergoing job transfers. Conclusion: Social support psychoeducation has proven to be effective in reducing stress levels. Social support psychoeducation helps employees understand and identify the various sources of social support they have, thereby helping them manage stress when changing jobs.

Background: In 2021, the Central Statistics Agency determined that North Maluku province was the province with the highest happiness index in Indonesia, however problems related to mental health continued to increase every year. The increase in mental health problems is also influenced by the lack of public literacy on mental health. Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the mental health literacy picture of the people of North Maluku in terms of gender, age, education level and district/city. Method: The study used quantitative research methods with the type of research testing differences using Mental Health Literacy (MHL) measuring instruments. The data analysis technique is the ANOVA difference test using the SPSS 19 application. Resuts: the results of the study showed that mental health literacy in North Maluku Province in the moderate category was 63.13%, the low category was 10.62% and the high category was 26.25%. There are no differences in mental health literacy by gender, meanwhile there are significant differences in mental health literacy levels based on age, education level and district or city. Conclusion: The conclusion of the study is the majority of people have fairly good mental health literacy in North Maluku Province.

Peran guru sebagai bagian dari tenaga pendidik merupakan profesi yang menantang. Terdapat banyak kemampuan harus dimiliki guru seperti pengetahuan akan materi yang diajarkan, keterampilan mengajar, kemampuan pengelolaan waktu, perencanaan pengajaran yang efektif, pengelolaan kelas, dan berbagai keterampilan yang mendukung lainnya. Oleh sebab itu, guru memerlukan teacher effectiveness agar dapat menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab secara efektif. Salah satu variabel yang memengaruhi teacher effectiveness yaitu kecerdasan emosi. Penelitian ini berupaya menggali pengaruh emotional intelligence terhadap teacher effentiveness. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada panelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 44 yang berprofesi sebagai guru sekolah dasar. Skala yang diguanakan yaitu Teacher Effectiveness Scale dan Self-Rated Emotional Intelligence Scale. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analysis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emotional intelligence berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap teacher effectiveness.

Background: The many demands of a mother's role in the household, especially parenting, cause mothers to experience parenting stress. Self-compassion in housewives is thought to have a relationship with parenting stress. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress in housewives. Method: This research is a correlational quantitative research with 120 housewives as the research subjects. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods using two scales namely Self-Compassion Scale and Parenting Stress Scale Data analysis using Pearson product moment correlation. Results: The results of the study obtained a correlation coefficient of -0.441 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.001), it can be interpreted that the research hypothesis is accepted. Conclusion: There is a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress in housewives. So that the higher the self-compassion possessed, the lower the tendency of parenting stress experienced by housewives.

Background: Phone snubbing or phubbing is the impact of increasingly developing technological developments, the urge to play with smartphones when communicating can be caused by the fear of missing out. Objective: This research was conducted to determine the effect of fear of missing out (FoMO) on phubbing behavior in Gen Z. Method: The respondents of this research were Gen Z at University X, Surabaya City, as many as 312 people using clustering sampling techniques for sampling. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Research data was collected using the FoMO and phubbing scales. Data were analyzed using simple regression techniques with the help of SPSS 26.0. Results: Based on the results of the regression test, a value of 0.176 was found and the correlation coefficient was positive and in the same direction. Conclusion: There is an influence of FoMO on phubbing behavior in Gen Z and because a positive correlation coefficient value was found, the higher the FoMO, the higher the phubbing behavior. The R Square found shows that FoMO influences phubbing behavior in Gen Z by 17.6%.

Dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an menuntut kemampuan mengendalikan kecerdasan emosional. Sedangkan siswa mudah putus asa, kurang keberanian sehingga hafalan menumpuk dan tertunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an dan tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa di SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasi dengan subjek adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik sebanyak 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes lisan, interview, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Kecerdasan Emosional siswa SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik memperoleh kategori sedang (54%), kemampuan hafalan Al-Qur’an siswa SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik memperoleh kategori sedang (50%). Hasil perhitungan rumus rhitung (16,583) lebih besar dari nilai rtabel (9,49) dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an.
