Abstract

Robots is one of the most important devices in the world that work automatically without human intervention. Robot can work for long hours without feeling tired and can be performed work that can be dangerous to human life. Autonomous robots are used today in many areas in our daily lives, for example, industry, Agriculture, Health, Education, scientific explorations and many other fields. Therefore in this research we will going to design autonomous robot that able to find and extinguish fires. In some cases, the dense flames very dangerous to humans live and therefore require intervention of robot. Fire tracking and suppression robot is a robot can automatically find and fighting fire. In this project a camera and flame sensor based on an rotary base was used. It can detect fire in an angle of rotation of 1600. ATmega328 microcontroller based on Arduino Uno board have been used,  to control the robot to do the right work without mistakes, ATmega328 based on Arduini Uno board have been used, and it can be programmed using C language by using arduino IDE.

Abstract

Cloud computing represents the most important shift in computing and information technology (IT). However, security and privacy remain the main obstacles to its widespread adoption. In this research we will review the security and privacy challenges that affect critical data in cloud computing and identify solutions that are used to address these challenges. Some questions that need answers are: (a) User access management, (b) Protect privacy of sensitive data, (c) Identity anonymity to protect the Identity of user and data file. To answer these questions, a systematic literature review was conducted and structured interview with several security experts working on cloud computing security to investigate the main objectives of proposed framework, a pilot study by using a structured questionnaire was conducted. Framework using multilevel to enhance management information system on sensitive data in cloud environment.

Abstract

Technologies for visualization of dorsal hand vein are of the great interest in the studies of drugs-body response, identity authentication and human metabolism. This study integrates near infrared (NIR) technology into an optical system for non-contact, mobile and quick on the spot visualization of dorsal vascular system. The performance of the developed system was tested on twenty subjects of different skin tone and body frame dimensions. The results showed that the proposed system is able to produce output image of Signal-Noise Ratio (SNR) and Peak SNR of greater than 30 dB and 20 dB, respectively. While this work found a correlation between skin tone and image quality metrics, high consistency was observed in the quality metrics calculated for image data of individuals having different body frame size. This work concluded that the proposed system can be suitably used as a portable and robust tool for enhanced visualization of dorsal hand vein.

Abstract

Zakah (alms) has a strategic position in terms of Islamic value and terms of the development of the welfare of the people. In the current digital era, the use of technology can facilitate zakah worship more easily, quickly, efficiently, and secure. This study aims to analyze and design electronic zakah (e-Zakah) structurally and systematically using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach. MVC is an approach or pattern of object-oriented analysis and design for software development that widely used today. MVC is implemented in the analysis and design modelling using Unified Modeling Language (UML) for e-Zakah. Based on the traceability result of analysis and design of e-Zakah, it can be concluded that the e-Zakah analysis and design model has been met all of zakah concept, user and software requirements, and all of models can be traced to each other. Therefore, e-Zakah analysis and design model in this study is ready to be built as a software.

Abstract

Now a day’s characterization of targets using radar is very important in Air Traffic Control, Defense, and Stealth etc.  In order to know the characteristics of the target it is very essential to know the polarization properties of that particular target which depends upon scattering nature of the target.  The polarization properties are important for radar target besides amplitude, phase and frequency. The polarization may be potentially used to improve target detection, anti-interference, and radar target recognition. Polarization properties of a target can be obtained using polarization scattering matrix (PSM). In this paper the polarization matrix of various geometrical shapes are derived.  For radar target recognition (RTR), a method using properties of the polarization scattering matrix (PPSM) is presented in this paper. A dipole has been considered to calculate the polarization matrix and polarization properties. The properties of the polarization scattering matrix: the determinant, Trace of Power Scattering Matrix, Depolation, Eigen polarization angle and Module of Polarization Ellipticity are analyzed. These properties are analyzed for different orientation angles of the targets.

Abstract

In recent years, environmental and energy problem has become one of the world's hot spot problems. Today, the road cars not only consume a lot of oil resource, but also cause serious pollution to human survival environment. Therefore, to save energy and protect environment, a green environmental friendly electric car instead of fuel car will be needed for sustainable development of the society. Electric vehicle has no pollution, low noise, high efficiency, diversification, simple structure and convenient maintaining; the development of green cleaning electric vehicle is the trend, and the inevitable choice. The power supply system of electric vehicle can be divided into three parts, the battery charging system, motor drive system and dc load power supply system. This paper mainly studies the dc load power supply system. Main function is to convert the high-voltage of the battery in the electric vehicle into low voltage output, provide the power supply for the low voltage dc load, including the car safety system, windshield wiper system, audio system. On the basis of the analysis of the parameters, this article designs the converter, sets up the principle prototype, analyzes the experimental results and finally makes conclusion. Abstract

In emergency situations, finding suitable routes to reach destination is critical issue. The shortest path problem is one of the well-known and practical problems in computer science, networking and other areas. This paper presents an overview on shortest path analysis for an effective emergency response mechanism to minimize hazardous events. Both graph theory and network analysis in GIS was discussed for the purpose of modeling and analyzing traffic networks. A transportation network can be referred to as a valued graph consisting of a set of vertices and a set of edges. In order to compute length of the shortest path from the source to each of the remaining in the graph, we illustrated Dijkstra's algorithm and its program. Based on the integration of Geographic Information System (GIS), web services and Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax) technologies, we provided a web application for finding optimal routes from locations of specialized response team stations to incidents site so as to maximize their ability to respond to hazard incidents. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.3236

Abstract

This paper reviews of high efficiency CMOS power amplifiers (PAs) in millimeter (mm) wave Ka - Band applications. The study is focused on the challenges in designing PA especially in GHz frequencies inclusive of high gain, good input and output matching, efficiency, linearity, low group delay and low power consumption. Several works on CMOS PA from year 2009 to 2018 are discussed in this paper. Recent developments of CMOS PAs are examined and a comparison of the performance criteria of various techniques is presented.

Abstract

This paper deals with border distortion effect at starting and ending of finite signal by proposing sliding window technique and basic extension mode implementation. Single phase of transient and voltage sag is chosen to be analyzed in wavelet. The signal which being used for the analysis is simulated in Matlab 2017a. Disturbance signal decomposes into four level and Daubechies 4 (db4) has been chosen for computation. The proposed technique has been compared with conventional method which is finite length power disturbance analysis. Simulation result revealed that the proposed smooth-padding mode can be successfully minimized the border distortion effect compared to the zero-padding and symmetrization approach.

Abstract

A literature review is presented specifically on the photovoltaic (PV) as a distributed generation (DG) integration approach and the extensiveness through renewable energy (RE) assessment criteria in current green building rating system (GBRS) to: delineate for further classification in terms of installed-capacity; identify the RE applications’ intent / aim; and recommendation for PV-type DG (PV-DG) expansion needs. The paper aims to close the gap in knowledge, by an empirical review of current RE assessment criteria and to portray the expected evolution of RE for higher installed-capacity in ensuring the government key achievement can be achieved. In considering the expansion needs in GBRS, the optimal technique for PV-DG expansion-limit would serve as a conceptual bridge between expanding mechanism and realization of the Malaysian most recent RE policy specifically on the drastically increment of RE quota. These can be achieved since various DG optimization case studies have been presented and overcome with the improvement impact on the test system, in term of power loss reduction, increased efficiency and optimal cost outcome. Future analysis as well as research direction are proposed and linked with some of the previous optimization reviews in recent literature.
