According to the situation that traditional speech authentication algorithms are not appropriated for the present speech communication, we proposed a speech authentication algorithm of perceptual hashing which is based on linear forecast analysis (LPC), it can satisfy the requirement of the efficiency and the robustness for the speech authentication. Firstly, the LPC coefficients are optimized, based on the principle of LPC for speech signal, a new prediction coefficients is constituted through combing the energy and the LPC coefficients of a frame; then dividing the prediction coefficient matrix into smaller blocks, and do singular value decomposition (SVD) to the coefficients of each block. Finally, quantifying the formed singular value and getting perceptual hashing sequences. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm has good robustness for content preserving operations, and it doesn’t reduce the efficiency while meeting robustness, it can satisfy the real-time requirement of speech communication. With the rapid expansion of electricity grid, there yet still places to be covered considering their remote location. Micro-grid (MG) is a solution in this scenario, in fact, there is actually many cases where MG is used in case of emergency and act as a backup to the main electrical grid. By disconnecting itself from the larger grid, a grid that can have many problems, the micro-grid becomes much more flexible in its operations and by continuing to power households and communities alike. Besides grid-connected mode, it is necessary for the MG to operate in autonomous mode. By operating in islanded mode, micro-grids must be able to supply critical load without interruption, run at specific values for voltage and power and extract the maximum power from the distributed generations (DG). Therefore, the modeling of microgrid network considering solar photovoltaic(PV) and wind turbine generation (WTG) system as the distributed generation have been modeled using Matlab/Simulink in this research. Apart from that, the observation of total harmonic distortion(THD) between two operation modes of grid-connected and the islanded-mode is presented in order to analyze the power quality stability towards two operations MG network with same loads size and network parameters.

According to Chinese coal industry standard MT313-1992 and European standard EN 1804-2-2001, using the modern CAE technology, based on the coupling meshing technology of structured grids and unstructured grids, the finite element strength analysis on 360-type double-telescopic prop is carried out under axial 1.5 times, axial 2.0 times rated load and off-center 0.3R 1.1 times rated load. The stability of the prop is studied using the buckling analysis. The results show that without regard to the dynamic load, the prop can bear 2.0 times axial pressure and 1.1 times off-center 0.3R pressure, and the stress distribution is even. Except the guide sleeve-I and the middle cylinder, other parts have high safety coefficient and can be optimized. The critical buckling load coefficient of the prop is 2.764, and the buckling instability of the type of prop will not happen if used under the rated working condition set by Chinese coal industry standard MT313-1992 and European standard EN 1804-2-2001. The paper can provide the basis for setting new related technology standard. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1896

In order to improve the high efficiency and security of supply chain information coordination under cloud computing environment, this paper proposes a supply chain information coordination mode based on cloud computing. This mode has two basic statuses which are online status and offline status. At the online status, cloud computing center is responsible for coordinating the whole supply chain information. At the offline status, information exchange can be realized among different nodes by using the pre-backup supply chain information and network address of other nodes. This coordination mode coordinates the whole supply chain information through the cloud computing center at the online status and maximizes the overall benefit. Meanwhile, the offline status effectively avoids the risks to the whole supply chain brought by the overdependence of cloud computing on network and the high information concentration. The two statuses have good customers’ satisfaction and higher order finished rate in supply chain. The simulation experiment based on multi-Agent verifies the effectiveness of this mode in this paper. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3453

Emergence of telecommunication companies is springing up due to the high demand from the consumers. The invention of telecommunication has made the world more knowledgeable as information can be transmitted easily. Based on the past studies, telecommunication is not commonly investigated especially in financial management field. Thereore, this study aims to propose a conceptual framework to evaluate, compare and rank the financial performance of the listed telecommunication companies in Malaysia using TOPSIS model. Financial ratios are employed to examine the financial performance of the telecommunication companies. The data of this study consists of DIGI, MAXIS, AXIATA and TM which are listed telecommunication companies in Malaysia stock market. The results of this study show that DIGI achieves the first ranking, followed by MAXIS, AXIATA and TM within the study period of year 2011-2015. This study is significant because it helps to evaluate, compare and rank the financial performance of the listed telecommunication companies in Malaysia with the proposed conceptual framework based on TOPSIS model.

Background subtraction methods are widely exploited for moving object detection in videos in many computer vision applications, such as traffic monitoring, human motion capture and video surveillance. The two most distinguishing and challenging aspects of such approaches in this application field are how to build correctly and efficiently the background model and how to prevent the false detection between; (1) moving background pixels and moving objects, (2) shadows pixel and moving objects. In this paper we present a new method for image segmentation using background subtraction. We propose an effective scheme for modelling and updating a background adaptively in dynamic scenes focus on statistical learning. We also introduce a method to detect sudden illumination changes and segment moving objects during these changes. Unlike the traditional color levels provided by RGB sensor aren’t the best choice, for this reason we propose a recursive algorithm that contributes to select very significant color space. Experimental results show significant improvements in moving object detection in dynamic scenes such as waving tree leaves and sudden illumination change, and it has a much lower computational cost compared to Gaussian mixture model.

This paper proposes an ontological scorecard model for credit risk management. The purpose of credit scoring model is to reduce the possibility of potential losses with regard to issued loans. Loans are provided according to strict criteria which contain information about the client, loan structure, the purpose, repayment source and collateral. Several techniques have been used for credit risk assessment before granting a loan. Ontology design patterns is used here to enable the implementation of domain knowledge using the OWL rules and to improve the decision making process in credit monitoring. The modeling of our ontology will make the data publication simpler and graph structures intuitive, thus making its reusability and expandability easier.

A high-gain wide-bandwidth three-stage amplifier, which employs dual-miller compensation with nulling-resistor and dual-feedforward compensation (DMCNR-DFC), is designed and analyzed in this paper. By adopting the technique of DMCNR-DFC, the designed three-stage amplifier achieves well performance including gain-bandwidth product (GBW) and slew rate (SR). The improved DMCNR-DFC three-stage amplifier is designed and simulated in 0.5μm BCD process. Simulation results show that DMCNR-DFC three-stage amplifier achieves a dc gain of about 121.1dB and GBW of about 6.1MHz with 52º phase margin using a 5-V power supply voltage.
