Abstract

Laundry needs are dominated not only by the household sector, but also by workers and students who tend to live in temporary accommodation such as contract houses, boarding houses, or rented accommodation. Such is the importance of laundry that the business is growing rapidly. In the past, the laundry business was mainly run by hotels, but now it can be used by people with capital and the general public. This post-pandemic oriented research was conducted at Bu Titi Laundry by taking 28 respondents from the population as the research sample. The primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires with response options in the form of an ordinal scale, namely strongly disagree to strongly agree with five scales. The research was conducted quantitatively using WarpPLS 7.0 analysis with hypothesis testing using t-test and sig 0.05. This study shows that promotion and location have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, but service is not significant for customer loyalty. As a moderator, the logo had no effect in moderating loyalty through promotion, location and service.

Abstract

A challenge in knowledge sharing can also arise from a lack of understanding of the importance of knowledge and its advantages in enhancing organizational performance. Members of an organization may be less motivated to share knowledge if they are unaware of its significance and the benefits it can have on the company. To raise members of the organization's awareness of the importance of knowledge and its advantages, an effective communication strategy is required. What is the relationship between motivation (Mtv), information technology (Itc) and organizational climate (Ocl) on knowledge sharing (Ksh)? There are still few researchers who explore this question. The types of data that will be used in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. The population and sample in this study were all employees of the Hasanuddin University Financial Administration Bureau. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that MTV, Itc, and Ocl had an effect on Ksh. Knowledge sharing activities within an organization can be influenced by a variety of factors, including motivation, information technology, and organizational climate. This understanding can be improved. High individual motivation can promote active involvement in knowledge sharing, and efficient information technology aids in knowledge exchange. Abstract

Trans Mamminasata BRT service delivery in the city of Makassar is still not able to provide a good service for people with disabilities. This can be seen in the existing condition of the existing BRT shelter. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the accessibility available on Trans Mamminasata BRT services to persons with disabilities. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method that aims to avoid the important details that are neglected due to quantitative methods are often the details are generalized into numbers and causing the existing information becomes neglected. Based on observations that have been made, found many irregularities in Mamminasata Trans Cosmos BRT service standards established in Indonesia. Some of the most common problems are the discrepancy of the size of the stop device against the prevailing standards, the unavailability of the special room for wheelchair users, the poor pedestrian conditions around the BRT shelter, the lack of available service information, and the presence of the eliminated bus facility. Based on this, it can be concluded that the condition of BRT stop Trans Mamminasata still not friendly to persons with disabilities in the city of Makassar.

Abstract

The private military industry emerged in the initial years of the twentieth century, driven by three factors: the end of the Cold War; transformations in the nature of warfare that blurred the lines between soldiers and civilians; and a general trend towards privatisation and outsourcing of government functions worldwide. The dominance of State authority over the military is now under stress, and the professional and private elements—in the form of private military companies (PMCs)—are gaining ground. As the PMSCs become omnipotent and omnipresent, it becomes more difficult to hold the State accountable for its military activities. To further complicate the issue, the present international humanitarian law (IHL) does not consider PMCs as soldiers or supporting militias since they are not part of the defence force and often consist of a large number of people of different nationalities. Due to the above, this paper investigates Private Military companies and emerging Jurisprudential issues under international humanitarian law. This work discussed the emergence of private military companies, mercenaries, and combatants as war prisoners and the human rights violations perpetrated by PMSC personnel. This work used the US-based Black Water, CACI, L-3 Services, and DynCorp, the South African Meteoric Tactical Systems, as well as the Russian Wagner Group contractors, as case studies. This work also draws some lessons from the Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, And Ukraine conflicts. This work shows that Human rights violations perpetrated by PMSC personnel are rampant and often violate international humanitarian law. This work proposes that framers of international humanitarian laws should propose laws that will regulate the use of PMCs in conflict situations.

Abstract

This article describes the digital business development strategy in Indonesia. Its background reflects the economic shift towards the increasingly dominant digital era in Indonesia. The research aims to deepen the understanding of how organizations and companies in Indonesia adopt digital business development strategies. The research method employed is qualitative research, through in-depth interviews and content analysis of various organizations. The results of this study reveal various approaches used by organizations in Indonesia in facing the challenges and opportunities of digital business, as well as the key factors influencing the success of these strategies. This research provides valuable insights for practitioners and decision-makers in developing digital business strategies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Tiens distributor communication strategy in building the Tiens marketing network in Samarinda City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a focus on Communication Strategy research proposed by Wilbur Schramm with the AIDDA model. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews. The results showed that the communication strategy used by Tiens distributors was through online and offline systems such as endorsing popular artists, holding Grand Open Plans simultaneously in 51 cities in Indonesia by inviting successful Guest Speakers in Tiens business, holding health workshops events and product demonstrations, holding the Tiens Goes To School program by supporting government programs to make them more easily accepted by schools and implementing a communication strategy that is following the established system, namely by promoting business opportunities and their products.

Abstract

Employee performance in tertiary institutions has become the focus of research and attention in the field of human resource management. The challenges faced are maintaining and improving employee performance within the scope of the Faculty of Medicine to improve academic quality. What is the relationship between personality (PS) and teamwork (TW) on employee performance (EP) through organizational commitment (OC)? There are still few researchers who explore this question, especially within the scope of the Faculty of Medicine. The type of data to be used in this study is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The population and sample in this study were Faculty of Medicine employees with status as PNS (Civil Servants) and Non PNS. The sampling method is census sampling. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the study show that PS and TW variables have a significant effect on OC and EP. Results of this investigation also found that PS and TW have a significant effect on EP through OC. These findings contribute to an understanding of PS and effective TW, which can provide valuable insights for organizations to achieve high EP.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal problems regarding the management of culinary businesses based on local wisdom (Case Study Of the Triple Mango Tuna Fish Floss Business). This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, that provides an overview and description of the business managamenet implemented by the triple mango tuna fish floss business. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out by means of documentation, observation and interviews. The results of the analysis in the research show that appropriate business management that can be applied to the tuna floss business to support aggressive management is to use management that is oriented towards business development.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze community empowerment strategies through developing a competitive creative economy in an effort to increase family income at UKM Shaza Depok. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The unit of analysis in this research is the source who is the informant, namely the owner of UKM Shaza Depok, the Management Department of UKM Shaza Depok and employees who work at UKM Shaza Depok. Data collection techniques in this study: interviews, observation, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) techniques, documentation. Data analysis uses 2 kinds of methods, namely SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and Balanced Scorecard. The results of the research show that the community empowerment strategy. From several results from the Balance Scorecard (BSC) perspective, what Shaza Depok UKM needs is: (1) Strengthening village communities as subjects of empowerment development, (2) Improving the welfare of village communities, (3) Increasing village community satisfaction with Shaza Depok UKM services, ( 4) Optimizing competitiveness in an effort to increase income, (5) Increasing community participation in developing product innovation and improving more creative marketing, (6) Improving product and service quality, (7) Increasing employee work motivation, (8) Increasing competency employees, and (9) Improving product information technology and systems.

Abstract

Sedimentation in aquatic environments often occurs due to the presence of a high supply of sediment in that environment. Oceanographic factors, such as currents, play a significant role in the mechanism of sediment dispersion. The results of excavation processes that generate a significant amount of sediment often become unused waste. In this research, we strive to utilize the sand found in this sediment as a substitute for fine aggregates in concrete mixtures. Experimental testing methods are used to evaluate the characteristics of sediment that can be used as a substitute for fine aggregates. The research findings indicate that the sediment contains a high clay content, specifically 14.08%. We also found that concrete mixtures using 50% sediment sand from the Bili-Bili Reservoir had the highest compressive strength, reaching 17.36 MPa. However, the addition of Bili-Bili sediment sand to concrete mixtures resulted in a decrease in compressive strength. The greater the addition of Bili-Bili sediment sand, the lower the compressive strength. These findings emphasize the importance of testing materials to be used in concrete construction, especially aggregates, to meet all established requirements. By utilizing sediment as an alternative resource for fine aggregates, it can help reduce waste and consider public administration aspects in the management of sediment materials in the Bili-Bili Reservoir.
