Abstract

Abstrak – . Pemodelan 3D adalah proses mengembangkan representasi matematis dari setiap permukaan objek tiga dimensi. Produk ini disebut model 3D. Seseorang yang bekerja dengan model 3D disebut sebagai 3D artist. Dengan desain 3d, kita dapat memvisualisasikan suatu prototipe yang belum ada wujudnya. Dalam tahap pembuatan gedung dalam 3D akan menggunakan Google Sketchup. Google Sketchup memiliki keunggulan dibanding software desain lainnya seperti Archicad, Autocad, 3D Studio Max adalah penggunaan yang mudah dengan tools yang sederhana dan lengkap. Permasalahan dalam pelakasanaan PKM ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang Aplikasi Gambar 3D. Sasaran eksternal adalah pemahaman siswa tentang penggunaan Aplikasi Gambar 3D. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, diskusi,pelatihan dan tanya jawab. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra mengenal Aplikasi Gambar 3D, (2) mitra memiliki kemampuan menggunakan Aplikasi Gambar 3D. Kata kunci: Archicad, Autocad, 3D Studio Max.

Abstract

Companies require high-quality strategic decision-making (SDM) to achieve their goals, remain competitive, and experience rapid growth.   Securing employment can be a challenging endeavor for recent graduates.   An individual possessing exceptional personal traits and a higher level of competence is regarded as more advantageous to the firm.   Fulfilling such standards might be challenging for prospective employees, particularly those who lack experience, such as recent graduates.   The main issues are twofold: firstly, the difficulty in effectively developing the human resources required for national construction, which involves costly traditional training methods and limited capacity and scope; secondly, the growing number of undergraduate graduates each year, without a corresponding increase in job opportunities. Additionally, the abundance of quality requirements, specific skills, limited employment options, and intense competition place fresh graduates in need of a labor certificate to validate their qualifications.   The primary objective is to enhance the students' comprehension of SIBIMA in order to bolster the number of qualified professionals in the workforce.   The employed methodologies include: lectures, talks, training, and questioning.   The outcome attained is that the partner has acquired knowledge about SIBIMA to enhance the certified workforce.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai alat edukasi dalam mengenali dan memahami bangunan gedung di kalangan pemuda Kota Makassar. Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, AR menawarkan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik, yang dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman peserta mengenai struktur arsitektur dan desain bangunan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan serangkaian workshop dan pelatihan yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang AR, serta aplikasinya dalam bidang arsitektur. Para peserta, yang terdiri dari anggota kelompok pemuda setempat, akan diajarkan cara menggunakan perangkat AR untuk mengeksplorasi model 3D bangunan secara virtual. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta mengenai teknologi AR dan arsitektur bangunan. Selain itu, inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat mendorong minat lebih lanjut dalam bidang teknologi dan arsitektur di kalangan pemuda, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan pendidikan teknologi di Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Penggunaan alat ukur yang tepat dalam bidang konstruksi dan teknik sipil merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting. Salah satu alat yang sering digunakan adalah theodolite, yang digunakan untuk mengukur sudut horizontal dan vertikal dengan presisi tinggi. Alat ini menjadi sangat relevan dalam berbagai proyek konstruksi, survei tanah dan pemetaan. Namun, pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan theodolite masih terbatas di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), khususnya di daerah Majene Sulawesi Barat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan langsung ke lokasi pengabdian dan menggunakan alat praktik lengkap.Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan siswa dapat memahami cara kerja theodolite, menguasai teknik penggunaannya, serta mampu menerapkan keterampilan ini dalam berbagai situasi praktis yang akan mereka hadapi di dunia kerja nanti. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk bersaing di dunia industri yang semakin kompetitif. Pelatihan ini memberikan pengalaman praktis yang penting bagi siswa dalam bidang survei dan teknik sipil, yang akan bermanfaat dalam karier mereka di masa depan. Disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan pelatihan dengan memasukkan penggunaan alat ukur lainnya, seperti Total Station dan GPS, untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang teknologi survei modern.

Abstract

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are actively working towards transforming transportation systems by implementing solutions that improve the quality and quantity of transportation and traffic data at both individual and collective levels. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) through a thorough bibliometric analysis covering the period from 2014 to 2023. The goal is to gain an in-depth understanding of the evolution of ITS research. This research employs bibliometric analysis to uncover trends and patterns in studies related to "Intelligent Transportation Systems." The research data is sourced from the Scopus database, encompassing information from document titles, abstracts, and keywords. The time frame considered for this study spans from 2014 to 2023. Studies were identified using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses) framework. From the 39,846 records identified from the Scopus database, 1,839 studies were included in the analysis. Subsequently, the results are analyzed using the VOS viewer software. The analysis highlights a significant shift in research focus, with core themes like "intelligent transportation sys," "vehicle," "algorithm," and "system" remaining central. Cybersecurity and associated risks have gained prominence due to increased connectivity in ITS. The study identifies promising research directions, including experimental technology validation, real-time traffic management solutions, and IoT and smart city concept integration. This research provides a comprehensive and novel overview of the ITS field's evolution and trends, offering actionable insights for advancing intelligent transportation systems.

Abstract

The low cognitive skills and ethical understanding of students in utilizing AI technology are major challenges in higher education in the digital era. This community service aims to improve these aspects through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach based on collaborative project-based learning. The method consists of four stages: building collaborative relationships between students, lecturers, and the campus community; implementing real-case-based projects supported by intensive training on AI, ethics, and the preparation of Student Creativity Program Proposals (PKM); reflective analysis of student ideas; and proposal presentations for evaluation. The results show significant improvements in pre-test and post-test scores, both in cognitive aspects (15.52 to 20.52) and ethical understanding (15.52 to 19.31). The implication of this service is that collaborative project-based learning effectively builds students' cognitive and ethical competencies holistically and can be adopted as a learning model to prepare students for responsibly facing technological challenges.

Abstract

The operation of the Novotel Makassar Hotel, located on the corner of Jenderal Sudirman and Chairil Anwar Street, will certainly impact the generation and attraction of new movements that affect the surrounding area, so a traffic impact analysis is needed. This research uses quantitative methods, the analyzed data is obtained directly through road performance measurement surveys. The road performance analysis focused on Jenderal Sudirman Street as the main access to the Novotel Makassar Hotel and the intersection with the Jenderal Sudirman-Chairil Anwar-Gunung Tinggi Mae signal. Traffic volume by vehicle type classification is measured 8 hours a week, from 07.00 to 22.00 on weekdays and weekends. Data were analyzed using the MKJI method, four-stage modeling, and traffic impact analysis. The calculation result of the existing degree of saturation at peak hours is 0.69. The results of calculating road sections' performance on weekdays and weekends will impact 5 operational years (2029), so recommendations are needed to minimize side obstacles by installing no parking signs at points prone to traffic jams. Road performance of Jenderal Sudirman Street on weekdays 2029, 0.312 (do nothing) to 0.305 (do something) and on weekends 2029, 0.424 (do nothing) to 0.414 (do something). Abstrak Pengoperasian Hotel Novotel Makassar yang terletak di sudut Jalan Jenderal Sudirman dan Jalan Chairil Anwar tentunya akan berpengaruh pada timbulnya bangkitan dan tarikan pergerakan baru yang berdampak bagi sekitarnya, sehingga dibutuhkan analisis dampak lalu lintas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, data yang dianalisis diperoleh langsung melalui survei pengukuran kinerja ruas jalan. Analisis kinerja jalan difokuskan pada Jalan Jenderal Sudirman sebagai akses utama Hotel Novotel Makassar dan simpang empat bersinyal Jenderal Sudirman-Chairil Anwar-Gunung Tinggi Mae. Volume lalu lintas dengan klasifikasi jenis kendaraan diukur selama 8 jam dalam satu minggu, mulai dari pukul 07.00 hingga 22.00 pada hari kerja dan hari libur. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode MKJI, permodelan empat tahap dan analisis dampak lalu lintas. Hasil perhitungan derajat kejenuhan eksisting pada jam puncak yaitu 0,69. Hasil perhitungan kinerja ruas jalan pada hari kerja dan libur berdampak pada 5 tahun operasional (2029) sehingga dibutuhkan rekomendasi untuk meminimalkan hambatan samping dengan cara memasang rambu dilarang parkir pada titik rawan macet. Kinerja ruas jalan Jenderal Sudirman pada hari kerja 2029 yaitu 0,312 (do nothing) menjadi 0,305 (do something) dan hari libur 2029 yaitu 0,424 (do nothing) menjadi 0,414 (do something).

Abstract

Overdimension Overloading (ODOL) merupakan masalah serius di Indonesia yang berdampak signifikan pada infrastruktur jalan dan keselamatan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepatuhan kendaraan terhadap peraturan berat di Unit Pelaksana Penimbangan Kendaraan Bermotor (UPPKB) TanaBatue, Kabupaten Bone. Data penimbangan harian dari 1 hingga 12 April 2023 mencakup jumlah kendaraan yang ditimbang setiap hari, klasifikasi pelanggaran berat, dan informasi kendaraan. Metode deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data tersebut. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 123 kendaraan ditimbang setiap hari, dengan 66% kendaraan melebihi batas berat yang diizinkan tetapi masih memenuhi syarat, 11% tidak memenuhi syarat, dan 22% sesuai dengan berat yang diizinkan. Pelanggaran ODOL memberikan tekanan besar pada infrastruktur jalan, meningkatkan risiko kerusakan dan biaya pemeliharaan. Rute distribusi utama antara Makassar dan Bone menunjukkan aktivitas ekonomi yang tinggi, terutama dalam sektor pertanian. Penelitian ini menyarankan peningkatan penegakan hukum dan edukasi kepada pengemudi tentang dampak negatif pelanggaran ODOL serta implementasi kebijakan yang lebih ketat untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan berat kendaraan.

Abstract

Indoor air quality plays a vital role in ensuring comfort and maintaining the health of users in enclosed sports facilities, such as indoor futsal courts. Proper air circulation significantly contributes to thermal comfort and reduces health risks associated with inadequate ventilation. However, this aspect is often neglected in the design of such buildings. This study aims to: (1) analyze the performance of air circulation in indoor futsal buildings, (2) assess indoor air quality, and (3) develop a design model that optimizes airflow using computational simulation. The research methodology included field surveys and direct measurements of building and ventilation opening dimensions, air velocity, temperature, and concentrations of CO and CO₂. Simulations were performed by adding new inlets and outlets equal in area to the existing ones but repositioned strategically—additional inlets were placed at 6.70 meters above the floor, and outlets were located 1 meter above the floor. The third simulation scenario showed a significant improvement in airflow speed at the central part of the building, ranging between 0.7 m/s and 1.5 m/s. By increasing the total inlet area to 271.32 m² and the total outlet area to 171.6 m², with incoming airflow speeds of 2.7 m/s, a more effective and evenly distributed indoor air circulation was achieved. These findings confirm that modifying the placement and sizing of natural ventilation elements can substantially enhance airflow performance in indoor futsal facilities. The proposed design model contributes meaningfully to architectural practices aimed at creating healthier sports facilities that effectively respond to passive ventilation requirements and may serve as a reference for the design of similar buildings in tropical climate regions.

Abstract

This study explores the promising potential of Candlenut Shell Aggregate (CSA) as a sustainable and innovative alternative for lightweight concrete production. Derived from Aleurites moluccanus, CSA is an agricultural by-product characterized by its low density, moderate abrasion resistance, and high water absorption make it suitable for non-structural applications like wall panels and flooring. However, integrating CSA into concrete mixes requires careful management of the water-cement (w/c) ratio which significantly affects compressive strength, density, and workability. Concrete mixes were prepared using the absolute volume method, with w/c ratios ranging from 0.65 to 0.30, to identify the optimal balance. The absolute volume principle was applied for all mix designs. Our results indicate that an optimal w/c ratio of 0.55 yields the most favorable balance, achieving the highest compressive strength of 14.3 MPa and a maximum density of approximately 1850 kg/m3. This specific ratio strikes an ideal equilibrium between adequate cement hydration and effective void minimization within the concrete matrix. Conversely, higher w/c ratios lead to increased porosity, diminishing both strength and density, while lower ratios impair workability, hindering compaction and hydration, ultimately degrading performance. These findings resonate strongly with existing prior research, further emphasizing the crucial need for pre-treatment of CSA, such as soaking or the strategic incorporation of admixtures, to effectively mitigate its inherent high absorption and enhance overall mix performance. In conclusion, this study robustly confirms the feasibility of utilizing CSA as a lightweight aggregate. This represents a significant step towards developing an eco-friendly solution that not only contributes to global sustainability goals by repurposing agricultural waste but also actively reduces reliance on conventional, resource-intensive aggregates. Future research should explore the long-term durability of CSA-based concrete and investigate advanced admixtures to further enhance its properties for broader applications.
