Abstract

This study examines the effects of green compensation and green employee involvement on employee job satisfaction at PT Sihono Samoedra Berlian Tbk. The research responds to the importance of green human resource management in supporting organizational sustainability and employee well-being. A quantitative descriptive design with a survey approach was employed. The population comprised employees, and a census sampling technique was used because the population was manageable. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale to measure green compensation, green employee involvement, and employee job satisfaction. The data were analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, the coefficient of determination, t-tests, and an F-test. The results show that green compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Environmentally oriented rewards, incentives, and compensation policies increase employees’ sense of appreciation and strengthen positive attitudes toward the company. Green employee involvement also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Employee participation in environmental programs, sustainability initiatives, and green decision-making increases motivation, engagement, and a sense of organizational belonging. Simultaneously, green compensation and green employee involvement significantly affect employee job satisfaction. These findings indicate that integrating environmental values into compensation systems and employee participation can improve satisfaction while supporting sustainability objectives. However, job satisfaction may also be influenced by other factors, including leadership style, organizational culture, work motivation, career development, and work-life balance. The study recommends strengthening reward mechanisms and providing opportunities for employees to participate in environmental programs.

Abstract

Necessary Condition Analysis (NCA) is gaining traction as a robust methodological approach for identifying the essential conditions required for a particular outcome to occur. While its use spans domains such as psychology, management, and tourism, systematic reviews remain limited, particularly those employing scientometric methods to map the intellectual structure of NCA applications. This review addresses that gap by analyzing the evolving landscape of NCA research across disciplines through a systematic bibliometric approach. Using data retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection on January 6, 2026, the study analyzed 364 SSCI-indexed journal articles. Two bibliometric techniques were employed: bibliographic coupling to identify current and emerging thematic clusters, and co-word analysis to explore prospective research directions. Data visualization and network mapping were conducted using VOSviewer 1.6.20. Three key thematic clusters emerged in both analyses: digital consumer research, psychological conditions, and tourism and hospitality studies. Major trends revealed the integration of NCA with methods such as PLS-SEM and fsQCA, and its role in identifying non-compensatory conditions in innovation, adoption, and behavioral outcomes. The findings highlight the value of NCA in theory building and methodological advancement, offering unique insights into must-have conditions across fields and enhancing decision-making and research precision. Future research should pursue interdisciplinary integration, mixed-methods applications, and geographic diversification.

Abstract

Public service innovation has become a critical agenda in public sector reform, particularly in developing countries facing persistent governance challenges. In Indonesia, efforts to enhance transparency, accountability, and service effectiveness have increasingly relied on innovation-driven approaches, yet their contribution to good governance remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze how public service innovation strategies contribute to strengthening good governance in Indonesia. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and observation across selected public sector institutions. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key patterns and relationships between innovation practices and governance outcomes. The findings reveal that public service innovation is manifested through three main dimensions: digital-based innovation, organizational and managerial reform, and collaborative governance. These innovation strategies are associated with improvements in transparency, accountability, effectiveness, and citizen participation. The study also finds that the integration of digital technology with institutional reform and stakeholder engagement plays a crucial role in generating sustainable governance outcomes. The study contributes to the literature by applying Public Value Theory to explain how innovation creates public value in governance processes. Practically, the findings provide insights for policymakers and public managers to design innovation strategies that align with governance objectives and enhance public trust.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine how digital marketing strategies evolve to foster customer engagement and evaluate their subsequent impact on the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study adopts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, analyzing 12 high-impact international articles published between 2024 and 2026. The data were evaluated using descriptive and thematic analysis to map current trends, engagement strategies, and business implications. The findings reveal a significant paradigm shift in MSME digital marketing, from one-way promotional advertising to interactive, relational marketing. Customer engagement emerges as a critical mediating mechanism that translates digital marketing efforts into sustainable competitive advantage, brand loyalty, and market expansion. However, the successful implementation of engagement-driven strategies remains constrained by internal barriers, notably limited digital literacy and inadequate technical competence among MSME actors. Digital marketing is indispensable for MSME resilience, provided it is strategically designed to foster continuous customer engagement. Practitioners must shift toward interactive digital ecosystems rather than passive catalogs. Additionally, collaborative policy interventions focusing on digital management training are urgently required to bridge the technological gap in traditional MSMEs.
