Abstract

This research conducts a nuanced examination of women's roles within Islamic families by dissecting the intersection of Islamic doctrine and modern societal practices. Utilizing an in-depth qualitative literature review, this study scrutinizes the application of gender equality as postulated in Islamic jurisprudence vis-à-vis the evolving socio-economic milieu. The findings reveal that while Islamic law inherently endorses gender parity, its practical execution is often skewed by the interplay of cultural customs and localized traditions. Key insights point to specific cultural practices and regional interpretations of Islamic law that have historically marginalized women's roles in familial hierarchies. Examples include inheritance customs in certain regions that deviate from Quranic stipulations, as well as the societal expectations placed on women to forgo professional aspirations for domestic responsibilities. These cultural impositions are juxtaposed with the Islamic principles of equity, often leading to a dichotomous existence for women who strive to fulfill their roles within the family while adhering to their faith. The methodology encompasses a comparative analysis of canonical Islamic texts and field studies from diverse Islamic societies, providing a comprehensive perspective on the disparities between scriptural teachings and lived experiences. The study also interrogates the shifts in gender roles precipitated by increased access to education for women, resulting in a reconfiguration of traditional family structures and the emergence of new challenges. Policy implications drawn from this research underscore the necessity of educational reform and advocacy that promote the reconciliation of religious tenets with contemporary gender norms. The recommendations advocate for the integration of gender-sensitive pedagogy within religious education, as well as community outreach programs that aim to align societal perceptions with the egalitarian ethos of Islam. In essence, this research delineates a complex tapestry of faith, culture, and gender, offering a substantive foundation for strategies aimed at fostering gender equality and justice within Islamic families.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of leadership style, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT. BTS (Bersama Teman Sejahtera). Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from employees through structured questionnaires. The findings reveal significant relationships between leadership style, work motivation, work environment, and employee performance. The results underscore the importance of effective leadership, intrinsic motivation, and conducive work environments in enhancing employee performance within the organization. The population consists of 50 employees, with the sample size also being 50 employees. Data collection methods include literature review and questionnaire surveys. Data analysis is conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3.0. The findings of this research indicate that Leadership Style does not have a significant influence on employee performance at PT. BTS. Work motivation positively influences employee performance at PT. BTS. Additionally, the work environment also positively affects employee performance at PT. BTS. Implications for management practices and future research directions are discussed.

Abstract

This research explores the recruitment process for prospective members of the Subdistrict Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu Kecamatan) in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency in 2022. The main focus of the research is on the selection of members of the Subdistrict Panwaslu, which includes the announcement of registration, receipt of registration forms and documents, administrative assessment, announcement of evaluation results, collecting public responses, selection through written exams with CAT Socrative, interviews, and determining the selected candidates. This research also identified various obstacles faced during the recruitment process, including delays in the disbursement of budgets from the APBN, limited facilities and infrastructure, and an uneven distribution of registration announcement information. In facing this challenge, research suggests increasing socialization of the recruitment process, the use of electronic media to receive public input, and the timely allocation of funds. The results of this research are important to ensure that the Subdistrict Panwaslu recruitment process in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency can run more effectively and efficiently, support integrity and fairness in elections, and strengthen community participation in the democratic process.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual learning has been applied in the field of education until now. Virtual learning is a new method of learning that certainly provides significant impacts and challenges in English language learning. The impact of virtual learning certainly facilitates the interaction between teachers and students in English classes. As online learning environments become increasingly prevalent, understanding the nuanced social interactions in these settings is crucial. However, virtual learning also provides obstacles in the teaching and learning process. This research employed a virtual ethnographic approach to investigate the dynamics of social interaction within virtual English classes at Esa Unggul University. Through an ethnographic lens, this study delves into the multifaceted nature of interactions among students and lecturers in virtual English classes. Utilizing qualitative data collection methods such as classroom observation, questionnaires, interviews, and analysis of digital communication, shaping social dynamics in the virtual classroom. The findings illuminate the complexities of social interaction, highlighting the role of technology, communication styles, and cultural influences in shaping virtual learning environments. This study's insights contribute to a deeper comprehension of social dynamics in online educational settings and offer valuable implications for optimizing engagement and fostering meaningful interactions in virtual English classes.

Abstract

This research is to determine consumer behavior in purchasing vegetable products at the Alfresh Store. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data which help complete the research data, with data collection techniques through interviews. The results of this research show that consumer behavior patterns are in accordance with the approach (Awareness, Appeal, Ask, Act, Advocate) Hermawan Kertajaya is Effective. Without realizing it, consumers have actually implemented an approach in accordance with Hermawan Kertajaya's 5A. Awareness consumers know Alfresh from their neighbors, Appeal is what makes consumers interested in Alfresh because it is attractive in terms of place and logo. Ask asks about the price and quality of the product. Act finally made a purchase at Alfresh because of the service and product quality at Alfresh. The consumer advocate recommended Alfresh to his neighbors

Abstract

This study explores the role of interpersonal communication in enhancing team work effectiveness in the digital era, focusing on how effective communication practices can strengthen mutual understanding, coordination, and collaboration within teams. Utilizing a qualitative method and literature review, this research collected and analyzed data from various contemporary sources to comprehend the dynamics of interpersonal communication within the context of technology-supported team work. The findings indicate that interpersonal communication characterized by openness, empathy, and support not only strengthens relationships among team members and builds trust but also reduces misunderstandings and conflicts. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of training in interpersonal communication skills to bolster team cooperation and expedite the collaboration process by leveraging appropriate digital communication tools. These findings underscore the significance of effective interpersonal communication strategies and the integration of digital communication technology to create a productive and harmonious work environment, as well as to improve job satisfaction, motivation, and employee retention in the digital era.

Abstract

Not only recording reality, the form of documentary films today has undergone significant development. One of the drivers of development is the digital phenomenon. Digitalization is not an impact, but a phenomenon that must be adapted as best as possible and addressed as wisely as possible. The purpose of this development is to provide innovation in the form of documentary films that are more innovative and creative. Qualitative method is used as the epistemology of data collection through research to validate the truth of the subject. Meanwhile, the principle of cross-disciplinary collaboration between film directors and digital collage artists is used as a foundation to produce a visual identity for the film to be more innovative and creative. As a result, the short film "Nasida Ria: Sun Stage" is not only a film that records the history of Nasida Ria, but also a contribution to the evolution of the documentary film form. Through an archive of texts, photos and videos arranged using digital collage techniques and moved linearly.

Abstract

After the State Capital City Law relocated Indonesia's capital to the Nusantara region in East Kalimantan, Jakarta's status changed to that of a special region. This change was ratified with the approval of the Special Region Provincial Law for Jakarta during the Plenary Session of the People's Representative Council on March 28, 2024. Jakarta's unique efforts to become a progressive and sustainable global city necessitate coordination and integration with neighbouring areas, including those within the Jakarta Agglomeration Zone. This study utilises a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis methodology, gathering data through documentary research involving document collection and analysis. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, display, discussion, and conclusion drawing, with data validity assessed through triangulation. The research aims to recognise the necessity for new institutions to manage Jakarta as a special region and ensure their support for Jakarta's transformation into a globally significant national economic hub, including its surrounding areas. The research findings emphasise the importance of these new institutions, as the capital city area and its supporting regions are no longer considered manageable separately, exacerbated by regulatory differences between central and regional levels.

Abstract

The family is based on marital ties consisting of a husband, wife and unmarried children. With the turning of time, the family economy is getting bigger in daily needs, causing a mother to have to participate in earning a living to meet her needs in a family. The reason behind a housewife becoming the backbone of the family, there are two factors, namely internal and external factors. The research method used is qualitative research method. According to Creswell (2008), qualitative research methods define it as an approach or search to explore and understand a central symptom. The results of qualitative research are strongly influenced by the views, thoughts, and knowledge of the researcher because the data is interpreted by the researcher. This method does not use detailed questions, questions start with the general then go into detail. The description of achievement motivation in the subject is seen where the subject wants to show and prove to the old school where the subject teaches that the subject is able to develop. There are many factors that make the subject obtain achievement motivation in herself, namely: The subject has an environment with a high intellectual group, the subject is motivated by other writers in living life as a writerSubject is a teacher and also a housewife. The subject started teaching in 1997 and first taught in high school and then vocational school and stopped teaching due to marriage and then when he had children. The subject's initial motivation for teaching was only to prove that the subject could teach then when he stopped teaching and then returned to teaching his motivation was to replace the role of his husband who was not working at that time.

Abstract

Deconstruction of Nur Holis Madjid's Thoughts "Islam Yes, Islamic Party No": Efforts to Answer the Reality of the Indonesian Islamic Party in the 2024 Election is an analysis of a Slogan of the Thoughts of the Muslim scholar Nur Holis Madjid which was coined in the 1970s at the Ismail Marzuki mini park in Jakarta its content classifies and criticizes Islam and Islamic Parties. This slogan has shocked the Indonesian world because of the pros and cons of this thought slogan, along with contemporary developments by looking at the existing reality that Islamic parties are now increasingly unable to compete with nationalist parties, so with this approach Concept will be able to analyze Nur Holis Majid's thoughts with the current situation regarding Islamic parties, so that with the Concept approach to Nur Holis Majid's thoughts we can answer why Islamic parties are increasingly lagging behind and by using a conceptual approach we can analyze the relevance of Nur Holis Majid's thoughts on the situation of political parties Contemporary Islam is increasingly not gaining the trust of the Islamic community itself.
