Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain information objectively about the difficulties of online-based learning fourth grade students of MI Cibolang Kidul based on the policy to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The approach of this study was decrictive qualitative method. Indirect Communication techniques were used as the instruments of collecting the data with data collecting tools by distributing interviews used Google Form media. The informants in this study were 42 students and only 36 students were filled in. The results showed that the difficulties of online-based learning during the Covid-19 pandemic are very diverse. Various obstacles that make online-based learning difficulties include learning support facilities such as personal cellphones are still lacking, limited access to internet, limited celluler data quota, teacher's explanation is not optimal and the role of parents is very important to assist in online-based learning.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the role of parents during the learning process at home in an effort to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data obtained using the interview method using google form consisting of 10 questions given to informants, namely parents of class V B students and who filled in only 17 informants. the role of parents is really needed in assisting children when learning online. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The conclusion of this study is based on the results of interviews conducted with informants, most parents always accompany their children when the online learning process is done even though there are some parents who work and can not accompany, but communication with class teachers remains well established so that parents can still supervise online learning even though it is not yet fully. as well as their children are considered to be able to do learning at home very well. Parents also feel that through online learning, parents can see their children's development in learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class V SDIT Denada with a total of 20 students in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. This research procedure went through two cycles, where each cycle consisted of (1) the planning stage, (2) the action stage, (3) the observation stage, (4) the reflection stage. Data collection in the study used student learning activity observation sheets, teacher activity observation sheets in using problem-based learning models, test questions to measure student learning outcomes on the conversion material for units of speed and volume. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the use of problem-based learning models in the conversion material for units of speed and volume could improve student learning outcomes at SDIT Denada. These results can be seen from the learning outcomes of students in cycle I with an average value of 70.8 with a percentage of 60% while in cycle II the average value is 75.15 with a percentage of 85%. The average value of student learning activities in cycle I (50%) , in cycle II (83%) and there was an increase (33%).

Abstract

In carrying out the role, a teacher has difficulty managing the class so that learning does not run effectively. Class management is the problem faced by the teacher in the first teaching during field experience at a Christian school in Lampung. The purpose of this paper is to describe the teacher's efforts to adapt classroom management in achieving effective online learning. This paper had written through descriptive qualitative methods. Based on the study conducted, the adaptation of online classroom management had carried out by improving learning plans, improving teaching methods through lectures and discussions, and providing supporting material by Word, besides PowerPoint with sound and video. This paper concludes that the adaptation of classroom management helps teachers in carrying out online learning effectively. The suggestions given by the writer are (1) Adjusting strategies, methods, models, and time allocation with the teaching materials in the lesson plans, (2) Providing supporting material to easily accessible by students; (3) Providing feedback to students who are learning asynchronously via Facebook, Email, Google Classroom, and so on; (4) Visiting students if schools and students are unable to carry out online learning with permission from various parties (foundations, schools, parents, and the government).

Abstract

The conservation of Pancasila values is an effort to build pancasila values in every student in higher education, especially PGSD FIP UNNES students in order to have attitudes and behaviors that conform to the noble values of indonesian identity. The research method used is qualitatively descriptive. Descriptive research with pourposive sampling sample techniques. Research data sources are informants, activities, and documents. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, questionnaires, document studies, focus group discussion, validity of data using trianggulasi and informant review. Analysis techniques are used with interactive flowing models. Further studies will be continued by creating a framework for the conservation model of Pancasila values. The results of the research that has been achieved are 1) the implementation of the conservation of Pancasila values in students of the DEPARTMENT OF PGSD FIP UNNES based on the data of the results of the study shows the percentage of implementation in each of these values namely the godliness value of 86.25%; humanitarian value 64.25%; union value of 82.00%; populist value 71.25%; and a justice score of 69.50%. 2) The obstacles faced in the conservation of Pancasila values are internal and external. 3) Pancasila's model of conservation of values is carried out to strengthen the national charcter building by referring to Thomas Lickona's theory which emphasizes on the three components of the formation of moral character knowing, moral feeling, and moral acting. The conclusion of this study is that it is necessary to optimize the conservation of Pacasila values in students in strengthening the national character building with a continuous or continuous programmatic model.

Abstract

Various deviations that occur in society today, related to character values ​​and moral decline among young people are of concern. This situation is exacerbated by the morale of leaders and law enforcers who are far from the value of the character of Pancasila as the nation's philosophy. The national education system is considered to be the most responsible for the emergence of these problems in order to build and fortify the character of students. Character education requires the right method so that there is strengthening in its implementation, so that efforts to shape the character of students are achieved. This qualitative research with the naturalistic inquiry approach aims to describe and analyze methods of strengthening character education and its achievements at SDIT BIAS Assalam, Tegal city. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was carried out by confirming the results of observations, interviews, documents. The data credibility test is done by extending observations, increasing persistence, data triangulation, negative case analysis, member checks, and references. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles & Huberman. The results showed that the method of strengthening character education used in SDIT BIAS Assalam included the continuous character building method so that the students' habits were integrated in every school activity, both intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular. In addition to being integrated with other activities, the role of adults in giving examples also influences character, other factors involving the school community in providing and implementing commitment to school norms and traditions (providing motivation, advice, understanding and appreciation of affective messages) have a good impact on goals. character education at SDIT BIAS so that it can be carried out and can take place as expected.

Abstract

This study entitled "Media Big Book as a Solution to Improve Science Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students". Science learning currently requires innovation in order to improve the quality of learning so that science learning goals can be achieved. Therefore an interesting strategy is needed so that it can be used to improve student learning outcomes, especially in science subjects in elementary schools. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in one of the primary schools in the Bekasi area. This study used a qualitative approach and the data analysis process emphasized the science learning outcomes and literature reviews from several journals. The results showed that using Big Book media can improve science learning outcomes. By applying the Big Book learning media, the teacher can be assisted in training and sharpening students 'imagination, increasing student creativity, and increasing students' enthusiasm and ability to learn with learning conditions that are fun and not watching, so that students can improve learning outcomes, especially in science well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that occur in fourth grade students of Jelambar Baru 01 Elementary School, namely there are students who still have difficulty answering math questions because the acquisition of learning outcomes and student learning completeness is still low. Of the 28 students, there were only 8 students who scored above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), while the other 20 students scored below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), so there were more students who had not completed than the students who had already completed. This happens because during learning activities, the teacher only uses the lecture method which makes it difficult for students to understand the material because the material is abstract for students. To solve this problem, the application of realistic mathematics is used to make the subject matter more concrete. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes as seen from the acquisition of the percentage of completeness in the first cycle of 60.71%, while in the second cycle the percentage of completeness increased to 85.71%. Then the increase that occurs from cycle I to cycle II is 25%.

Abstract

Mathematics is a field of study that exists at all levels of education, starting from elementary school, which is the foundation for basic concepts that are used as a basis for learning at the next level. Understanding a concept is very important in the learning process but mathematics is a difficult subject to understand, this is not in accordance with the objectives of learning mathematics, one of which is understanding the concept of mathematics. This writing aims to provide solutions to improve students' conceptual understanding by using the Think Pairs Share (TPS) learning model. The Think Pairs Share (TPS) learning model is a learning process with a pattern of discussion in pairs that are given time to think, respond, and exchange ideas between pairs of the results obtained. The steps of the TPS Model are (a) Thinking. (b) Pairing, (c) Sharing in the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in the pairing and sharing step, the teacher should encourage students to work together in groups. This writing uses a qualitative approach and the data analysis process puts more emphasis on concluding a comparison of literature reviews from several scientific journals. The results of this study indicate that using the Think Pairs Share (TPS) model can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts, besides that students are more active in learning so that they can build interest in learning in mathematics learning, and learning outcomes will increase. In using learning models that are more creative, innovative, and paying attention to the characteristics of students and being able to combine learning models with media that are appropriate to the material to be studied so that learning is more interesting, it can be concluded that the Think Pairs Share (TPS) learning model can be used as a solution for improve understanding of elementary school students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the role of information and communication technology in the online learning process during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The data collection technique was done by using triangulation techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation to the same source, namely teachers and parents of students. Based on research that has been conducted at SD Qur'an Al-Himmah, Sukabumi Regency, it can be concluded that information and communication technology acts as a teacher media to deliver learning material, as a medium of communication, and consultation between teachers and students or parents of students, and as a teacher media, students and parents to add insight from the internet. Popular media (applications) used by teachers and students at SD Qur'an Al-Himmah in the online learning process are the WhatsApp Group application, Zoom Cloud Meeting, and YouTube. The problems (obstacles) faced by teachers and parents of students in the online learning process are bad signals that hinder the online learning process, increasing quota costs, decreasing interest in children's learning, and limited time to accompany children because parents have to work around the clock.
