Abstract

Early mobilization is a way to make patients independent so that patients are able to carry out their own activities without the help of others. Pain management can be pharmacological, non-pharmacological. Nonpharmacological techniques used to reduce postoperative pain are early mobilization techniques. This study was to determine the effect of early mobilization on Post SC pain. The method used is a literature review using the Google Scholar and PubMed databases by identifying 20 articles on the same topic in the 2018-2022 range and filtering them so that their feasibility is assessed and 15 articles are appropriate. Literature search used the keywords SC surgery, early mobilization. The results obtained from this literature study have the effect of mobilization on Post SC Pain patients, namely the application of one of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be used to reduce postoperative pain is the early mobilization technique. Based on the process, there was a significant difference in the effect of the results of early mobilization on the pain scale in post SC mothers. Early mobilization in post sectio caesarea patients can improve blood circulation so that the wound tissue becomes better. The faster the post-SC mother moves, the faster wound will heal. The limitations encountered during compiling this literature review were the difficulties in finding literature or sources that matched the guidelines and adjusting the title of the literature review with the inclusion criteria. It is hoped that future work researchers can learn more about early mobility in post-sc patients from different journals.

Abstract

Administration of rtPA thrombolysis intravenously (IV) as the management of acute ischemic stroke currently shows satisfactory results in overcoming ischemic stroke attacks which can reduce morbidity and mortality. This study aims to analyze the comparison of alteplase vs tenecteplase therapy in patients with acute ischemic stroke in terms of the benefits, safety and risks of both drugs. Article searches were conducted through Google Scholar and Research Gate using the keywords Pharmacology Tenecteplase and Alteplase in Acute Ischemic Stroke, then a total of 25 articles that met the inclusion criteria were reviewed. The results showed that tenecteplase had a fibrin specificity 14 times greater than alteplase, a longer half-life, slower plasma clearance, and 80-fold greater resistance to type 1 plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI-1). Its half-life of about 18 minutes allows rapid administration of a single bolus. The efficacy in acute ischemic stroke was shown to be significantly higher than tenecteplase with significant initial neurologic improvement. Regarding the safety assessment, there was no difference related to all levels of symptomatic intracerebral hemorrhage, both tenecteplase and alteplase.

Abstract

Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor that has been tested and proven to be superior to CC in terms of ovulation, pregnancy and birth rates. However, letrozole has the potential to be teratogenic to the fetus. To compare the effectiveness of Letrozole and Clomiphene Citrate as ovulation induction therapy in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) patients. Methods is Literature review of four databases; PubMed, DOAJ, Cochrane, and Google Scholar published within the last 5 years from 2018-2022. There were 11 studies reporting the effectiveness of Letrozole and Clomiphene Citrate as ovulation induction therapy in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) patients. Primary and secondary outcomes are used to evaluate outcomes. The key outcomes were the drug's impact on ovulation, birth, pregnancy, multiple pregnancies, miscarriages, and birth defects rates. The effectiveness of combination therapy and monotherapy was also contrasted in this literature study. Based on this literature review, it was found that Letrozole is superior to Clomiphene Citrate as an ovulation induction agent in PCOS patients. Letrozole is also associated with a better probability of pregnancy and birth and a lower chance of multiple pregnancies. The probability of miscarriage and the occurrence of congenital anomalies or defects in the newborn did not differ between the groups receiving letrozole or CC. In addition, the combination of letrozole and CC was superior to letrozole alone in increasing the ovulation rate in women with PCOS. Letrozole is also better and more acceptable than the combination of CC and metformin for inducing ovulation.

Abstract

Competition or child fighting is one of life's problems that often occurs within the scope of the family in Indonesia or what is commonly called sibling rivalry. The parenting style applied by parents at home is a factor that can influence a child's tendency to have a sense of wanting to compete with their siblings. The type of parenting that tends to be a factor causing sibling rivalry is authoritarian parenting. The existence of sibling rivalry can trigger more extreme actions such as homicide. However, apart from the influence of authoritarian parenting, gender bias in parenting can also affect the occurrence of homicide due to sibling rivalry. Therefore, the prevention that can be done is by not differentiating the parenting style given to each child.

Abstract

Anxiety is a significant concern for expectant mothers, particularly in the third trimester. Various therapeutic approaches have been developed to address this issue, including Murotal Al-Quran therapy. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Murotal Al-Quran therapy in managing anxiety during the third trimester. A comprehensive review of previous studies consistently demonstrates its positive impact in reducing anxiety levels among pregnant women. Reciting the Quran and incorporating Quranic verses in therapy have proven effective in reducing anxiety, depression, and enhancing emotional well-being. It also shows potential in influencing physiological responses, such as lowering blood pressure and stabilizing heart rate. By establishing a spiritual connection and promoting reflection, pregnant women can find inner tranquility. However, it is essential to acknowledge that Murotal Al-Quran therapy should be complemented with social support, counseling, and medical care for a holistic approach to anxiety management during pregnancy. By adopting this comprehensive approach, Murotal Al-Quran therapy becomes a valuable tool in preparing pregnant women mentally and emotionally for childbirth. It has shown promising results in alleviating anxiety and enhancing overall well-being, supporting pregnant women through the challenges of pregnancy and childbirth.

Abstract

This systematic review aims to evaluate the use of Pepperlav aroma therapy, which combines peppermint and lavender essential oils, as a natural approach to alleviate nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. A comprehensive literature search was conducted using electronic databases to identify relevant studies. Studies evaluating the effectiveness of Pepperlav aroma therapy in reducing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy were included. Data extraction and quality assessment were performed, and the findings were synthesized narratively. Several studies were included in the review. The findings suggest that Pepperlav aroma therapy significantly reduces the frequency and intensity of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. The combination of peppermint and lavender oils, known for their relaxing and antiemetic properties, appears to contribute to the therapeutic effects. However, further research is needed to validate these findings, elucidate the underlying mechanisms, evaluate long-term effects and safety, compare with other treatment modalities, and investigate individual factors influencing the response to Pepperlav aroma therapy. The use of Pepperlav aroma therapy shows promising results as a natural approach to alleviate nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. The relaxing and antiemetic properties of peppermint and lavender oils make them potential beneficial agents. However, further research is warranted to validate and confirm these findings, as well as to understand the mechanisms involved. It is crucial to consult with healthcare professionals or aromatherapy experts before implementing Pepperlav aroma therapy in pregnant women.
