Abstract

Data transmission media using wireless is currently an alternative to using wired transmission media. Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) used so far uses 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The use of frequency in the IEEE 802.11 standard protocol is increasingly dense and prone to interference. So that various protocols began to be developed according to needs. In this study using a frequency of 5 GHz and the Nv2 protocol. One of the protocol features in the Mikrotik Wireless device. Signal strength is affected by the Noise Floor Threshold. Noise Floor Threshold value -128 to -110. The higher the Noise Floor Threshold value, the weaker the signal strength will be. The lower the Noise Floor Threshold value, the stronger the signal strength. The Noise Floor Threshold value will also affect the Signal To Noise (dB). When the Noise Floor Threshold value is low, the Signal To Noise (dB) strength is getting stronger, and vice versa

Abstract

Plagiarism is always in the spotlight, not least in the academic sector both from school to college level. Therefore, prevention and early detection need to be done to minimize this plagiarism action. There are several methods that can be implemented, one of which uses the Rabin-Karp algorithm. Rabin-Karp algorithm is one of the string matching, algorithms that can be used to measure the level of similarity of text. The thesis aims to design and build an application using the Rabin-Karp algorithm to find the percentage of similarities in two document files in the form of tested text. According to the results of tests conducted by (Priambodo, 2018) between the original document and the document tested from the test results of 10 text documents using the Rabin-Karp algorithm, resulting in the largest accuracy rate of 47.58%. While the smallest accuracy rate is 19.28%. While the results of the analysis conducted from 10 documents tested with a value of k-gram 1, have obtained the largest percentage of similarity, which is 57.14% and the smallest at 28.57%. Where if the similarity value <30% is included in mild plagiarism, 30%-70% moderate plagiarism and >70% large plagiarism.

Abstract

The development and utilization of information technology is also used in a way that aims to increase the faith and piety of Muslims in this millennial era. In this digital era, many Muslims are starting to neglect to participate in majlis taklim activities. In this case, the use of the technology used is aimed at increasing the percentage of the majlis taklim congregation which is in the form of a reminder application. This majlis taklim reminder application is an application built using the geofencing method on Android. This application aims to provide reminders in the form of notifications of majlis taklim activities held to users and to make it easier for the majlis taklim committee to disseminate information on the majlis taklim activities that are held. The use of the geofencing method in question is a method used to provide a defined location boundary so as to provide a trigger in the form of a notification to users who are within the boundaries of the area. The notification received by the user is the location of the activity, so it is hoped that this majlis taklim reminder application can increase the percentage of majlis taklim congregations.

Abstract

Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that can assist leaders in making decisions that are accurate and targeted. Many problems that can be solved using SPK, from some of these problems one of which is the Decision Support System Selection of Vocational High School students in Medan. Of the many Vocational High Schools located in the city of Medan in the Education Office, it is certainly very difficult to find the best students from some Vocational High School. This is because every school must have its own advantages and advantages and this will make it difficult for the Education Office to determine the best Vocational High School students. From the problems encountered, the use of a Decision Support System is expected to be the right solution. Because there are several alternatives and criteria that can influence in generating a decision. There are several methods used in building DSS such as, WSM, AHP, TOPSIS, WP, SAW. In this research, the researcher uses the Weighted Sum Model (WSM) method which is believed to solve the problems faced by the Education Office in selecting the best Vocational High School students

Abstract

Socialmedia is a medium used by Indonesian people to socialize and also as a medium to express their thoughts on something. Communities who support and reject the procurement of the Sinovac vaccine carried out by the Indonesian government based on the responses submitted by the community on Twitter regarding the procurement of the corona virus vaccine, it can be known in general how much community support, rejects or is neutral on the procurement of the Sinovac corona virus vaccine. using RapidMiner 9.0 using the search operator twitter, then processing the data with the Text Mining Algorithm as a preprocessing text mining, then as a weighting using the Term Frequency – Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm. The results of data processing will be tested using RapidMiner using several operators such as replace, subprocess and analyze sentiment, the results of the two will be compared with the Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm that can only determine sentences with negative or positive meanings, but the ability depends on to the negative and positive connotation words used and the description method is able to describe the general sentiment so that the results of the weighting with the Term Frequency – Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm can be understood. Therefore, more appropriate connotations are needed in the topic of vaccination. The results of this study can provide an overview of the proportion of people who support, reject or are neutral in procuring the Sinovac vaccine, then the percentage of these results is tested using the RapidMinner application and produces the same percentage value.

Abstract

The certification of the Hajj rituals supervisor is a legal acknowledgment of the ability and expertise in guiding the Hajj rituals. In this study, discusses designing a system that can be applied to the implementation of certification. The certification implementation is carried out online by the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the West Java Ministry of Religion. The previous condition was that the activities of implementing the certification for the Hajj ritual supervisors were carried out offline (face to face). Given that the pandemic has hit and is full of risks, if it continues, the alternative policy is to use the online method. At the beginning of the implementation of online certification, there were problems. The main obstacle is the inefficiency and effectiveness of the factors of time, speed and relevance in the delivery of communication and information. Thus, the proposed system is generated through a website-based platform and is run online. The research method uses the Extreme Programming approach. The Extreme Programming consists of planning, designing, coding, and testing. The proposed system is run on a web-based platform whose program code is written in PHP and uses MySQL as a database data processor (RDBMS). Furthermore, the tools that are applied in system design use UML (Unifed modeling language). This research resulted in a Web-Based design of an Information System for Hajj pilgrimage mentoring certification which can simplify the certification implementation process, as well as simplify the presentation of certification data and its processing. Based on the results of testing using the Black-box method, the system can be implemented properly, while the PIECES analysis presents changes when the new system is implemented in the implementation of certification. The results of the design of the certification information system have proven to be effective. The design of this system can overcome the weakness of the implementation of certification to be more accurate.

Abstract

Licensing of billboards is managed by a government agency, namely the Medan City One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) in the fields of Licensing, Spatial Planning and Development. This study discusses the problems that occur in the Medan City DPMPTSP regarding mapping and monitoring billboard licensing by utilizing Leaflet JS technology as a medium for integrating maps into the web. The system is equipped with a route feature closest to the billboard location and is equipped with a mapping and a list of road locations that are justified and not allowed for advertising. This study uses Quantum GIS to convert shp files into GeoJSON format and Leaflet JS for map visualization. The system created can make it easier for DPMPTSP to manage and find out the status of billboards quickly and accurately and can provide information related to licensing the installation of billboards to the general public.

Abstract

Practicing doctors in Medan City obtain permits through the Medan City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP). The information contained in the institution is still in tabular form and does not provide a clear geographical description of the location of the licensed doctor. So, we need a geographic information system regarding the location of the doctor's license to practice with a special location, namely Medan City. This study uses Leaflet for map visualization and also GeoJSON as a format for encoding geographic data structures. With this system, it can provide information about practicing doctors to the public about the distribution of practicing doctors in the city of Medan and can help facilitate the activities of the Medan City DPMPTSP in monitoring the location of practicing doctors who have permits.

Abstract

The State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) has four campuses spread across several places, one of which is the campus building IV of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra which is located on Jalan Lap.Golf, Kp. Central District, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. There are still many people who don't know about the IV campus building and have never come in person because the UINSU IV campus building has just finished construction and is ready to be occupied in 2021, then the size of the IV UINSU campus can make people who have never come will feel confused about the location the building on campus IV UINSU. This research uses image stitching method to create a panoramic image of the campus building. Virtual tour application can help many people and candidate students and can help reduce confusion about the location of buildings for people who are coming to campus IV for the first time

Abstract

Oil palm (Elaeis guinensis) is a plant that has its own charm and plays an important role in people's lives. Plants are categorized as normal if they can process their physiological functions properly. In line with the development and expansion of community-owned oil palm land areas, more and more problems arise due to various types of diseases and pests attack on oil palm plants, especially on the midrib and leaves of oil palm. The existence of diseases and pests that cause losses in plant productivity also results in loss of costs used to restore plants that have been attacked by diseases or pests in nurseries, immature and mature plants. The lack of understanding of farmers regarding how to diagnose and proper control of oil palm diseases and pests as well as the availability of experts or experts in the field of oil palm in smallholder oil palm plantation areas can be overcome by presenting experts or experts or doubling the knowledge possessed by experts in the coconut field. oil palm by building an expert system for the diagnosis of diseases and pests in oil palm leaf midribs. The certainty factor method is used to describe the uncertainty in thinking and express the degree of confidence of the expert or expert in diagnosing the types of diseases and pests of oil palm. The developed expert system is expected to be useful for farmers in the area or ordinary people in diagnosing diseases and pests on oil palm leaf sheaths through the symptoms selected during consultations to diagnose the types of diseases and pests that are being experienced.
