Abstract

In the world of education, there are many elements that can affect the achievement of learning outcomes, including elements of teachers, students, curriculum and facilities and infrastructure that can support learning. Currently, there are still many students in learning who have not found the answer on their own because they are not given the opportunity to practice by the teacher, thus making students feel bored and more passive. Currently, there are still many schools whose students are only given memorization about concepts and not understanding and mastering concepts in terms of solving a problem plus the support of teachers who are less creative in using media in the learning process which makes it increasingly difficult for students to understand the material. Learning methods that take place effectively and efficiently and can be done anytime, anywhere, using any path and with any access speed can be done with the E-learning method. The E-learning method, apart from being able to provide teaching materials and instruction in learning that can be accessed anytime and anywhere, also does not require a large room like a conventional room. In the teaching and learning process there are several problems that arise, namely the problem of limited learning time at AD-DA'WAH Vocational School, the lack of interaction between teachers and teachers outside school hours, limitations between classrooms and the number of students who are not commensurate, which makes the learning process less efficiency. These problems will be solved by designing a learning application with e-learning, which is proven to be efficient in solving problems such as those that occur in the teaching and learning process. The results showed that the e-learning method succeeded in increasing positive efficiency when applied to solve problems. Making e-learning using PHP, MySql, OOP, jQuery, Ajax, CSS as programming languages.

Abstract

Certain Employment Agreement Employees (PKWT) or can also be referred to as contract employees in a company who are hired to help work within the company, but it is not certain how it is implemented based on only being a temporary employee. In a sense, after it expires, the company can extend or lift the contract as a permanent employee, by looking at how active the employee is. In the process of selecting PKWT employees, the company must obtain prospective applicants objectively so that the results match the desired criteria. In the process of hiring PKWT employees there are problems, namely because of the large number of candidates so that it takes a long time to select them. The next problem is that the selection process still looks inefficient and takes time, because the assessment and results of PKWT implementation are carried out in stages, such as file selection, interviews and so on. Thus, it is likely that errors in the final result of anticipating PKWT employees often do not meet the criteria required by the company and hinder the company's performance. Therefore, a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed to overcome the problems that occur in the acceptance of Specific Time Agreement Employees (PKWT) using the OCRA method. The OCRA method is one of the methods of the Decision Support System, where this method makes decisions by ranking from the smallest value to the largest value. With this system, it is expected to be able to obtain optimal system decisions and can minimize the performance of the company in the process of accepting Employees of Specific Time Work Agreements (PKWT).

Abstract

Watering plants is an activity carried out so that the results of plants that are treated to grow well and avoid the water content needed by these plants. Technological developments encourage someone to use a plant watering system that is carried out using the right technology to avoid water content or soil moisture on plants. Moisture content and adjustment to soil contours also make maintenance difficult, because plants have different requirements for water content and humidity for each type of plant. The hollow structure of the soil is also a good place for roots to breathe and plants. Soil is also a habitat for various microorganisms. The purpose of this design is to make it expected that this tool can facilitate plant care in areas that have been planted with sensors that detect soil moisture levels. Watering plants that are still manual becomes plants that are not properly maintained because of the busy time of activity, or types of plants that have special attention both in terms of places that must be cool and water needs that must still be met. The humidity sensor will read the state of dry or wet soil moisture and inform the results of the sensor readings to telegram. The result of the notification sent in the form of this information, the user can find out the state of the plants displayed in his telegram. The test results obtained, it is known that the tool can work according to the needs and specifications. The tool is able to read the moisture content expressed in the dryness of water in the soil and sends the moisture value to a telegram where the pump will water the plants if the soil moisture is below 65% and the pump will turn off if the soil moisture is > 66%.

Abstract

Attendance is an activity to find out the number of arrivals for laboratory assistants at an agency. Attendance is very necessary for the head of the laboratory to know the level of discipline and diligence of each laboratory assistant. The purpose of this study is to design an android-based laboratory assistant attendance system so that it is easy to check. The method used in this research is the scrum method. The scrum method is used because this method is easy to use, easy to reach. After blackbox testing, it was found that the assistant presence system in this laboratory can run as expected and every menu feature can be used by assistants and the head of the laboratory

Abstract

There are several types of coffee in Indonesia. Among the many types of coffee beans, one will find it difficult to choose the best coffee beans among the many types of coffee available. To make it easier for entrepreneurs and coffee connoisseurs to identify coffee beans, a decision support system is needed that can help determine the best coffee based on the given criteria. There are 4 criteria to determine the best coffee beans, namely price, quantity, taste and variety. These criteria are used in developing the system using the simple additive weighting method. Based on the calculation criteria, Sipetung coffee beans are the best coffee beans. Meanwhile, Gayo coffee beans are the last ranked coffee beans based on calculations that have been made.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has natural beauty and cultural diversity, making tourists from abroad visit Indonesia. The purpose of tourists coming to Indonesia is to travel with their families. Over time, tourists or foreign travellers have decreased, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia that has not ended. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, several airports and ports were temporarily closed to avoid the development of an increasingly virulent COVID-19. The purpose of the study was to determine the prediction of the number of arrivals of foreign travelers using the linear regression method. The simple linear regression method is a method consisting of one or more ordinary independent variables with the notation X and one dependent variable represented by the notation Y. The independent variable is the number of foreign travelers to Indonesia as notation X and the dependent variable is the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. Indonesia as Y notation.

Abstract

Face non-spoofing detection is an important job used to ensure authentication security by performing an analysis of the captured faces. Face spoofing is the process of fake faces by other people to gain illegal access to the biometric system which can be done by displaying videos or images of someone's face on the monitor screen or using printed images. There are various forms of attacks that can be carried out on the face authentication system in the form of face sketches, face photos, face videos and 3D face masks. Such attacks can occur because photos and videos of faces from users of the facial authentication system are very easy to obtain via the internet or cameras. To solve this problem, in this research proposes a non-spoofing face detection model on video using Faster R-CNN. The results obtained in this study are the Faster R-CNN model that can detect non-spoof and spoof face in real time using the Raspberry Pi as a camera with a frame rate of 1 fps.

Abstract

The design of a system to assess the progress of the competence of individual trainees is one of the applications in the field of information and communication technology. This proves that information and communication technology affects the performance of the instructor in assessing the progress of the competency of the trainees held at the Banda Aceh Job Training Center. So far, the assessment of the progress of the trainees' competence is still done manually. So we need a computerized system so that it can make it easier to collect data on the progress of the competence of the trainees. To build this system, analysis, design, and implementation stages are carried out. The method used to carry out the system analysis and design process is using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and system interface design. Abstract

Indonesian smartphone users are growing every year, so application developers continue to innovate to create non-cash payment services to make it easier for users to make non-cash transaction payments. There are currently many digital wallet applications, but ovo and gopay apps are common. The study is to compare the 2 digital wallet applications that have a business process and similar characteristics in both the user experience of the digital wallet application and want to know which user corresponds with both of the comfort, function and convenience of the customer in using one of the e-wallet support applications. The study gives a comparison through the user experience questionnaire (ueq) who has six assessments between attractiactiveness, spicdialing, seduction, dependent, stimulation, and stimulation. The UEQ questionnaire was divide to 85 respondents, as the result from the UEQ questionnaire indicates that the respondents had a positive impression on both ovo and gopay digital wallet applications Where the application shows positive (values mean > 0.8).
