Implementation of service activities also involves the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. Abstract

This training is motivated by the problem of teachers who face obstacles in preparing learning tools and evaluations due to limited time due to busy schedules and not long work experience, which makes the preparation of learning administration less than optimal. Therefore, it needs to be improved through training on the use of Gemini AI and Quizz. This training aims to utilize technology effectively to improve the quality of learning in the classroom. SD Negeri Pasirbanteng became the location for this training and was attended by 45 teachers and held on September 07, 2024. The method used in this training is Service Learning (SL). The series of activities carried out are, identification of problems or needs, integration of academic learning, providing services, collaboration with community partners, reflection and evaluation Gemini AI and Quizizz training was carried out smoothly, providing in-depth understanding to teachers about the utilization of these two tools. The training resulted in participants' in-depth understanding and practical skills in utilizing AI technology and digital platforms for learning needs. Based on the activity evaluation, this training not only adds new insights, but also inspires teachers to improve the effectiveness and quality of learning in their classrooms. Thus, this training contributes to the application of innovative technologies in education.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted to improve the productivity and success of young entrepreneurs at the Islamic Entrepreneur Boarding School (IEBS) in Purwakarta. The program aimed to address key challenges such as limited understanding of Islamic economic principles, managerial skills, and the application of Sharia in business practices. A total of 27 participants, comprising middle and high school students, actively engaged in the training. The activities included theoretical presentations, interactive discussions, and practical simulations using the Widget Method to enhance knowledge retention and application. The Pre-Test and Post-Test results showed significant improvement, with the average score increasing from 8.93 to 9.81. This demonstrated a better understanding of productivity concepts and financial management aligned with Islamic values. The training emphasized practical skills such as budgeting and entrepreneurial planning, enabling participants to integrate Sharia principles into their business initiatives effectively. The program also contributed to the development of a sustainable Sharia-based entrepreneurial ecosystem in the local community. Key findings highlighted the success of interactive and practical learning methods.

Abstract

In 2021, the stunting rate in Dangdeur Village was still relatively high and is expected to decrease by 2024. Dangdeur Village, located in Jayanti Sub-district, Tangerang Regency, is one of the urban areas in Banten Province. Currently, the village has one main Posyandu (integrated health service post) with 10 satellite Posyandu units supported by 25 active cadres. The role of these cadres is crucial in efforts to reduce stunting rates. The method used in this program involved educating cadres through the screening of an educational video about complementary feeding (MPASI). This activity was conducted in August 2024. Before and after the video screening, cadres were given a series of questions to assess their knowledge levels. A total of 25 active cadres participated in the program, and the average knowledge score increased from 63 (Pre-test) to 78 (Post-test). It is hoped that this community service program will help reduce the prevalence of stunting among children in Dangdeur Village and can be implemented in other regions across Indonesia.

Abstract

The introduction to human anatomy program for early childhood held in Mancasan Village on Thursday, October 31, 2024, was a collaboration between the Physiotherapy and Early Childhood Education (PAUD) programs of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This program aimed to enhance the understanding of 20 children about human anatomy in an interactive and enjoyable way, while also empowering 5 PAUD teachers to implement creative teaching methods. Utilizing the educational application Jelajah Tulang, the activities included play-based learning methods, visual games, interactive songs, and sensory activities. Evaluation results indicated that the program successfully increased children’s enthusiasm and understanding of anatomy, while providing valuable training for PAUD teachers. However, challenges such as limited access to technology and program duration remain obstacles to the sustainability of the initiative.

Abstract

This initiative addresses the challenges of rapid population growth and limited land availability by offering a sustainable solution: hydroponic farming. The main goal of this service is to empower communities by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to grow hydroponic plants, a cultivation method that does not require large areas of land. By teaching hydroponic farming techniques, this service allows individuals to utilize limited space, transforming small plots of land or even indoor spaces into productive agricultural environments. This approach not only provides a practical solution to food production but also creates economic opportunities for individuals and families, as they can sell hydroponically grown products, such as vegetables or herbs, to local markets or directly to consumers. This community service was carried out on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at RW 3, Pancoran Village, South Jakarta, which was attended by local residents who were interested in the world of utilizing garden plants with the aim that at least the community is able to use their yard as a hobby, social activity and business.
