Abstract

Curriculum have an important role in education, to produce quality human resources. However, the application of curriculum in Indonesia is still minimal in terms of human resource quality, because it only emphasizes the academic field and emphasizes theory rather than practice. One of the things that indicates a person has a high level of quality is that has the abilty of life abilities. So it is legitimate if an educational institution wants to apply a life skill based curriculum such as Ceria Demangan Kindergarten Yogyakarta. Therefore this study aims to: 1) find out how the process of apllying life skill based curriculum in Kindergarten Ceria Demangan, 2) find out how the development of aspects of child development with the implementation of life skill based curriculum. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indcate that the implementation, planning and evaluation of life skill bassed curriculum cannot be separated from the cooperation of parents, teachers, principals, and studends.

Abstract

Literature argues that religion has a role in the application of parenting styles. However, we need to interrogate what kind of parenting is in the religious belief of parents. This study aims to determine the role of religious beliefs in shaping parenting style in Surakarta. This research method uses a qualitative method using a case study research design that aims to explore child care. Data collection techniques used face-to-face interviews and video calls with snowball sampling. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman technique. The results of this study are parenting in religious beliefs in parents tends to lead to an authoritarian style, with the aim of introducing rules and boundaries for children to avoid the impact of negative behavior. These results indicate that religious belief becomes the direction and reference for parents as a disciplinary decision in the upbringing of children.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology in education offers learners access to a variety of learning resources that are not restricted. It is expected that this use will enhance the success of the learning process and the attainment of educational goals. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of information technology-based learning on the academic performance of students in Indonesia. This research adopts a meta-analysis design and utilizes a selection process based on established criteria to gather studies from the Google Scholar and Scopus databases. The study adheres to the PRISMA protocol. There were 51 studies included, comprising 44 academic journals and seven proceedings. The analysis technique applied is a meta-analysis using the random effect size model. The results of this study indicate that the utilization of information technology in education has a significant impact on the learning achievement of Indonesian students. The analysis of 51 studies, including 44 scientific journals and seven proceedings, showed that the effect sizes of the studies varied from -0.80 to 5.85, indicating heterogeneity in the studies analyzed. The effect size model used in this meta-analysis was a random effect size model, with the summary effect value showing a large effect size with a value of 1.285, a p-value<0.001, and a confidence interval ranging from 1.012 to 1.559. Subgroup analysis also revealed a significant difference in the average effect size across different levels of education, including elementary, secondary, and tertiary education. The results of the study showed no evidence of publication bias.

Abstract

Skill computational thinking lebih baik distimulasi sejak usia dini, namun beberapa kasus di Indonesia masih belum mencerminkan serta menggambarkan kegiatan yang dapat digunakan guru untuk mengembangkan computational thinking pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil kemampuan computational thinking pada anak melalui kegiatan unplugged coding berbasis daily lives. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini melaporkan bahwa terdapat empat aspek yang dapat terlihat dalam kegiatan unplugged coding, yaitu 1) anak terbiasa dengan instruksi dan arahan, 2) anak mampu mencari solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi, 3) anak terbiasa menceritakan kembali, 4) anak mampu membagi tugas (modularitas) secara mandiri dan diskusi dengan reman sebaya. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa skill computational thinking pada anak usia 5-6 tahun berkembang dengan mengimplementasikan kegiatan unplugged coding berbasis daily lives.

Abstract

Stunting, a chronic nutritional problem characterized by a child's height below the standard for his or her age, is still a challenge in Indonesia. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia in 2021 is 24.4%. In Mancasan Village the prevalence of stunting reached 24%. This figure is quite high, considering that stunting can have a negative impact on children's growth and development, both physically and cognitively. One effort to prevent stunting is to carry out early screening and provide gross motor stimulation. Stunting screening can be done using a screening book and motor stimulation for stunted children aged 0-60 months. This community service is carried out using educational methods, namely lectures and questions and answers. The results of community service show that there has been an increase in community understanding about screening and gross motor stimulation of children aged 0-60 months from 12.9% to 28.6%. It is hoped that this increase in community understanding can reduce the incidence of stunting in Mancasan Village.

Abstract

Learning difficulties that many students experience are learning concentration, management of learning materials, storage of learning outcomes, and exploration of stored learning outcomes. With digital literacy, it can increase student independence in finding solutions to problems that arise during learning using various digital sources. However, this is a problem for teachers of the digital immigrant generation because of the large difference in the generation gap. The output targets are (1) research reports on teachers' efforts to instill digital literacy for early childhood, (2) research articles published in the journal "Cakrawala Dini" accredited national journal Sinta 3. This research is a qualitative research with a case study type. The object of this research is the digital immigrant generation teacher at Aisyiyah Kartasura Kindergarten. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. While testing the validity of the data includes: internal validity, external validity, reliability, and objectivity. Data obtained by in-depth interviews can be analyzed by open-coding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah sebuah langkah dasar bidang pendidikan dalam mengikuti arah perkembangan zaman yaitu penggunaan alat digital untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, menciptakan sebuah media digital yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi perkembangan anak usia dini dapat membantu guru untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran agar lebih efektif dan efisien.  .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi evaluasi digital pada perkembangan anak usia dini, baik dalam konten audio, video, dan audio-video.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka melalui literatur perkembangan emosi dasar dengan rancangan studi kasus fenomenologis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini antara lain sumber data insani dan sumber data non insani. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data analisis tematik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah evaluasi digital dengan menggunakan konten audio-visual. Audio-visual dapat membantu anak untuk mengekspresikan emosi wajah dan memberikan respon reseptif pada audio-visual yang sudah disaksikan, dalam menafsirkan audio-video anak bebas menentukan deskripsi dari sosok manusia dengan tujuan menilai pemahaman anak tentang emosi dasar dan memeriksa kapasitas anak dalam memberikan pemahaman emosi dasar

Abstract

STEAM and Loose Parts-based educational game tools are learning media that can stimulate children to have a 21st century mindset and skills. However, the reality shows that teachers at Mancasan Kindergarten still need activities to improve their skills in implementing STEAM and Loose Parts media. Activities are carried out in the form of provision and assistance. Provision takes the form of delivering material that introduces STEAM-based educational game tools and Loose Parts. Next, participants distributed the creation of the educational game tools and then presented it. The work results were in the form of STEAM Based educational game tools and Loose Parts and were awarded. Through this assistance, Mancasan Kindergarten teachers have the knowledge and skills to create an APE.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the kinesthetic intelligence of 5-6-year-old children attending Aisyiyah Macanan Kindergarten in the Kebakkramat District through animated films tailored for their age group. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected from 18 children in Group B through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the triangulation technique. The findings indicate that teachers are well-versed in understanding children's kinesthetic intelligence, its characteristics, and the efficacy of using animated films for learning. Teachers have implemented varied learning media to prevent monotony and have ensured adequate facilities for presenting animated films. Children demonstrated proficiency in imitating movements depicted in the animated film "Nusa and Rara: Let's Exercise," contributing to gross motor skills such as hand-foot-eye coordination, body balance, strength, flexibility, and speed, all appropriate for their age group. Enhanced kinesthetic intelligence offers children increased opportunities for play, exploration, and social interaction with peers and their environment.

Abstract

Stunting menjadi salah satu prioritas permasalahan utama pada ruang lingkup wilayah kerja pemerintah Kabupaten Sukoharjo tahun 2021-2026. Terdapat potensi kerugian ekonomi akibat dari penurunan produktivitas keluarga yang memiliki balita stunting dengan asumsi tidak adanya perbaikan gizi yang dapat dilihat dari resiko yang ditimbulkan sejak balita sampai dewasa. Pada tahun 2022, Kabupaten Sukoharjo berada pada angka 8% dengan peningkatan tren pada tahun 2021 sebesar 7.11%. Daerah Sukoharjo merupakan daerah yang menjadi kabupaten prioritas untuk perluasan lokus stunting di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Desa Mancasan Kecamatan Baki, Kabupaten Sukoharjo dengan bentuk pengabdian masyarakat dengan sasaran ibu kader posyandu, orang tua balita, Bidan desa, ibu hamil, guru PAUD dan TK serta perangkat Desa Mancasan dengan memberikan pelatihan, edukasi, dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada masyarakat. Hasil edukasi dan pelatihan maka terjadi kenaikan pengetahuan masyarakat yang di tunjukkan dengan peningkatan dari masyarakat menjawab kuisioner dengan benar.
