Medical students are potentially for having sleep disturbances because of the academic processes were associated withhigh stress levels such as Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The high level of stress, that exceedsindividual endurance, it will cause negative impacts such as difficulty concentrating, headache, difficulty to sleeping. This research is descriptive analytic study with cross-sectional approach. Sampling was done by consecutive samplingtechnique and has obtained a sample of 146 respondents. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test. Chi-square test resultshowed that there was significant result between stress level during OSCE with sleep quality among medical student with avalue of p = 0,003 (p<0,05). There is a relationship between stress level during OSCE with sleep quality among medicalstudent at faculty of medicine, muhammadiyah university of north sumatera.

Abstract

In 1995 the American Pain Society (APS) instituted a campaign on "Pain as the 5th vital sign". Pain is a common reason thata person comes to the hospital seeking medical attention. The percentage of pain is higher than diabetes, heart disease andcancer. This study aims to see the level of knowledge and attitudes of P3D FK UMSU students towards pain as the 5th vitalsign in acute pain management in teaching hospitals. Using a descriptive method with a cross sectional approach, a sampleof 144 people from P3D FK UMSU students batch 2015 and 2016. The results of this study were obtained that from 94people (65.3%),out of 144 respondents had less knowledge, then 48 people (33.3%) have sufficient knowledge, and 2people (1.4%) have good knowledge. Moreover, as many as 124 people (84,4%) have a good attitude, and as many as 20people (13,6%) have bad attitude. The conclusion of this study is that P3D FK UMSU students have less knowledge andgood attitudes of pain as the 5th vital sign in acute pain management in teaching.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused people to engage in social distancing, namely by staying at home and closing schools. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on students lead to online lectures, resulting in excessive use of electronic devicesand resulting in changes to sleep homoestasis. Sleep quality is a feeling of enthusiasm and fitness after awakening fromsleep. Low sleep quality will affect academic activities, behavioral changes and emotional disturbances. A factor that canimprove sleep quality is physical activity, namely by exercising. To determine the effect of moderate intensity aerobicexercise at home on sleep quality during the COVID-19 pandemic in FK UMSU students. This study uses an experimentalmethod with a one group pre and pos test research design with a control group design. Sleep quality was measured usingthe Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire, and measurements were made twice, namely before and afteraerobic exercise intervention. Samples were taken using consecutive sampling technique with a total sample of 36 peopleusing Federer's formula. From the results of this study, all study respondents experienced disturbances in the quality of theirsleep. The results of the Wilcoxon test in the intervention group found p = 0.001, and in the control group it was found p =1,000. Where the moderate intensity aerobic exercise intervention group affected the quality of sleep of FK UMSU studentsduring the COVID-19 pandemic. In the intervention group there was an increase in the quality of sleep in UMSU FK studentsafter being given moderate intensity aerobic exercise. So that moderate intensity aerobic exercise is one of thenonpharmacological methods for people who have sleep quality disturbances.

Abstract

The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic is still ongoing today. Health protocols are in place and students are advisedto stay at home. The limitation of activities due to this pandemic has a negative impact on health due to physical inactivityand secondary behaviour. Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) is one of the vital indicators that describes an individual's overallhealth. Aerobic exercise has previously been shown to increase CRF. This study was a pre-test and post-test control groupdesign. The subjects in this study used consecutive sampling as many as 32 FK UMSU students. The intervention groupperformed moderate intensity aerobic exercise at home for 4 weeks, while the control group was not given any intervention. The research instrument used the Astrand-ryhming Step Test method to measure the VO2max value. Statistical analysisused the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. There was an average CRF increase of 2.4% after moderate intensityaerobic exercise at home and a decrease in mean CRF of 18.9% in the control group. Statistically, the increase in CRF in theintervention group was not significant (p> 0.05). The Mann-Whitney test also showed insignificant results (p> 0.05). There isno effect of moderate intensity aerobic exercise at home on cardiorespiratory fitness during the COVID-19 pandemic amongFK UMSU students.

To determine therelationship between nurses' compliance implementing COVID-19 Pandemic Health Protocol with COVID-19 knowledgedand perception of COVID-19.. Caterogical analysis using cross sectional design. Nurses working at Avicenna Bireuen Hospitalin 2020. The research data were obtained from primary data using a COVID-19 Health Protocol compliance questionnaire, knowledge and perception questionnaire of COVID-19. Then do to analysis with the Chi Square test. The results of ChiSquare test showed that there was a significant relationship between nurses' compliance implementing COVID-19 pandemichealth protocol with knowledge of COVID- 19 wih a value of P=0.004 (p<0.05) and perceptions of COVID-19 with a value ofP=0.012 (p<0.05). Nurses who adhere to the COVID-19 pandemic health protocol have good knowledge of COVID-19 andgood perceptions of COVID-19.

The researchsample was taken using simple random sampling method, amounting to 75 people. The hypothesis test used is the ChiSquare Test. Data were collected based on the COVID-19 Perception questionnaire and a validated hand washing behaviorquestionnaire. The results show that there are 65 respondents who have good perceptions and 68 respondents who havegood behavior. The results of the chi square test obtained p value = 0.001. There is a correlation between the perception ofCOVID-19 with the behavior of washing hands in the FK UMSU assisted families of Class 2017.

Prayeris a solid refuge in the face of various difficulties. When praying a person will feel calm and relaxed, so that the stressresponse decreases, and stimulates the anterior pituitary, inhibiting the adrenal cortex so that blood pressure decreases. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between dhuha prayer routines and a reduction in stress levels inelderly Muslim women. The type of research used in this study is a descriptive-analytic study that aims to see therelationship between the Duha prayer routine and stress on elderly Muslim women, with a cross sectional study design.Sampling using a total sampling that can be done 30 people.
