Abstract

Postpartum exercise has a positive effect on the health status of the mother, including helping to normalize joints that become loose due to pregnancy and childbirth and preventing further weakness and stretching. Postpartum exercise exercises can be done within 24 hours after giving birth and then regularly every day (Diana, 2014). However, the reality obtained in the field is that postpartum exercise is rarely carried out because mothers are afraid to make many movements, still have pain in the perineal wound area and are afraid of the stitches coming off. General Objectives To determine the effect of implementing postpartum gymnastics on the smoothness of breastfeeding and uterine involution, Specific Objectives To find out the effect of implementing postpartum gymnastics on the production and smoothness of breast milk, and to know the effect of implementing postpartum gymnastics on uterine involution. this type of Quasi Experiment research uses the theNon-Equivalentt Control Group design, namely a study that compares the case group with the control group. The population of this study was 59 people and the sample in this study was part of normal postpartum mothers from day 2 to day 4 and were willing to be respondents. Based on the distribution of postpartum exercise movements on breast milk production, it shows that there is no influence between postpartum exercise movements and the smooth production of breast milk and based on the distribution of postpartum exercise movements on uterine involution. shows that postpartum exercise has a significant effect on uterine involution variables

Abstract

Hypertension is a systemic blood pressure where the systolic pressure is above 140 mmHg and the diastolic pressure is above 90 mmHg. In the elderly population, hypertension is defined as a systolic pressure of 160 mmHg and a diastolic pressure of 90 mmHg. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between heredity and smoking habits with the incidence of hypertension. This type of research is quantitative with an analytic descriptive design using a cross sectional study approach, which wants to know the relationship between one variable and another. The variables in question are the independent variables and the dependent variables. The analytical test used is bivariate analysis, which is an analysis that connects two variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. Bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test using α = 5% using the SPSS version 16 computer program. The results of this study were that there was a relationship between the patient's hereditary history and the incidence of hypertension (p=0.001). There is a relationship between the patient's smoking habit and the incidence of hypertension (p=0.007). It is hoped that the information on the results of this study can be used as additional material to enrich knowledge and reference needs for community nursing science that causes hypertension. Abstract

Anemia poses a significant health problem in developing countries, particularly among pregnant women who experience a high morbidity rate. Globally, anemia ranks third among pregnant women, with a prevalence rate of 74%. The primary causes of anemia cases are iron deficiency and acute bleeding, which interact with each other. This study employed an experimental research design known as quasi-experimental. The treatment or intervention was administered to the respondents who were divided into two groups: the control group, which did not receive the treatment, and the intervention group, which did. Prior to the intervention, both groups underwent an initial examination. Subsequently, the intervention group was given sweet potato leaf decoction, followed by a post-administration examination. The results obtained from the SPSS test demonstrated significant changes in hemoglobin levels among 15 respondents in the intervention and control groups. The test yielded a p-value of 0.000, with p < α (α < 0.005), indicating a significant alteration in hemoglobin levels before and after administering sweet potato leaves to pregnant women with anemia. Moreover, the independent test revealed a p-value of 0.005, with (α < 0.005), highlighting a significant difference between the intervention and control groups. This research endeavor aims to enhance knowledge and comprehension regarding the benefits of sweet potato leaves, particularly for healthcare professionals. Sweet potato leaves serve as a viable alternative in increasing hemoglobin levels among pregnant women with anemia.
